The Sloth Run 5K/10K/13.1 LA is an exciting event in Los Angeles that forms part of our Virtual Run/Running Club series. This event aims to help participants set race goals and improve their overall health and well-being. The Sloth Run 5K/10K/13.1 LA is a unique opportunity for sloth lovers to come together and run, while also supporting The Sloth Conservation Foundation. Participating in the Sloth Run 5K/10K/13.1 LA guarantees a memorable experience. After completing your run, you will have the chance to receive a special Sloth Charm from our coordinators as a commemoration of your achievement. Not only will you be improving your own health, but you will also be contributing to a worthy cause, as a portion of the net proceeds and 100% of fundraising will go to The Sloth Conservation Foundation. It is important to note that this run is expected to sell out quickly, so it is recommended to secure your spot as soon as possible. If all the waves are sold out, you can still sign up for the virtual run option or join the waitlist. The event is capped at a small, private group of just 15-20 participants per wave, ensuring an intimate and supportive atmosphere for all ages and paces. Timing for this event is stress-free, with no timing chips required. However, if you wish to keep track of your time, our coordinators can assist you using bib numbers distributed on race day. In addition to the sense of accomplishment and improved fitness, participants will receive a premium running shirt and a finisher's medal. Packet pickup is hassle-free, as swag will be shipped directly to your provided US mailing address. Your shirt will arrive the week of the race, and a final update with details and course maps will be emailed to you the Wednesday before the event. Late registrations are accepted, but please note that shirt delivery may be delayed. In such cases, you can wear any appropriate shirt for the race. Wave times are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis, with the option to email us your desired wave time. For those who prefer a virtual run, this unique option offers the support of a coach that can be contacted via text at any time. Sponsorships and corporate challenges are also welcomed, providing an opportunity for businesses to promote their brand. Furthermore, every registration for the Sloth Run 5K/10K/13.1 LA contributes to our "Around the World Run" initiative, where we gift a registration to someone in need.
