We chose Mayson White this year because he embodies what it means to Roll On And Live Long. Mayson' s Story: On August 22, 2025, Mayson White, a 15-year-old freshman from Bolivar Ohio injured his spinal cord while playing linebacker for Tusky Valley High School. Adam heard of his story on social media and was instantly drawn in as he heard about Mayson’s determination and hard work. Collinsworth Cause has made the decision to branch out of the Northern Kentucky region in hopes of helping Mayson Role On and Live Long. Since August Mayson has worked hard in recovery and continues to work hard in outpatient rehab. He has progressed from needing a ventilator and is regaining strength in his arms. His family travels from Bolivar to Chicago weekly to assure that Mayson is getting the best rehab care possible. Mayson has spoken of his appreciation for the support he has received from his family, teammates, friends and strangers. Newspapers have reported Mayson describing himself as an underdog who has always fought to overcome the odds, he has no plans to do anything less for this battle. He was quoted saying "I've always had that drive and determination, I feel like. I've always had it, especially playing sports," This is the drive and determination that put Collinsworth Cause into motion and the kind of drive and determination we are here to support.
