Join the Tooled Up - Metalwork course on Tuesday, 16th April 2024 in London. This one-day practical workshop, held at the London Sculpture Workshop, will equip you with the skills and confidence to work with metal. Led by experienced artist and tutor Andrew Revell, this course is suitable for all levels, including beginners. Throughout the workshop, you will learn essential techniques in metal craft, such as measuring, marking out, cutting materials, drilling, punching, spot welding, and bending metals. You will also gain knowledge on assembling a basic toolkit for metal work projects and how to properly use and care for your tools. One of the highlights of this course is the opportunity to construct your own personal tool box to take home. This toolbox will be a valuable storage solution for your gear and will give you the confidence to undertake metalwork projects at home, work, or in a studio. The course runs from 10am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break (lunch is not provided). Basic materials are included in the course fee of £125.
