A Beach Hazards Statement remains in effect through late Thursday night for Los Angeles County Beaches, Malibu Coast, and Ventura County Beaches. Elevated surf of 3 to 6 feet will generate dangerous rip currents and breaking waves, creating an increased risk of drowning and the potential to capsize small boats or wash people off rocks. Minor beach erosion and tidal overflows may also impact south-facing beaches.
