1-Day Pingtang Adventure: Stars & Scenery

Tiandong is about 20 minutes away from Tianyan, forming a route for observing the sky and exploring the earth. Tiandong provides a deeper understanding of the history of the formation of Guizhou's karst landforms.

Cave exploration is different from regular sightseeing tours because we will enter a pristine natural cave. So before we start exploring, we need to complete the necessary pre-trip training at the base camp. In the pre-trip training, we will learn how to wear personal safety equipment, including helmets, headlamps, cave suits, safety belts, etc. And the leader will introduce our coaching team for this trip and Guide the necessary safety knowledge. Therefore, pre-trip training is very important. Taking part in the pre-trip training seriously can make our adventure trip more handy. After completing the pre-trip training, we officially started the adventure journey. Starting from the base camp, it takes about 10-20 minutes to walk to the cave entrance. This section of the road is a warm-up for our adventure itinerary. Everyone can fully activate their bodies through a short hike and prepare for the walk in the cave later.

The unique structure of Pingtang Tiandong gives him many adventure experiences. We will use the cave uninterrupted protection system independently developed by Qiaomu Tanyou in the cave, and there will be no risk of getting lost or slipping in the dark and slippery cave. The marine fossils, stone pillars, stalagmites and other various cave sediments in the cave are natural geological classrooms. Qiaomu Tanyou's coaches will bring a vivid geological classroom in a real environment. Of course, there are more experience projects that need to be kept confidential. If you know everything in advance, it will be useless to explore the unknown fun. After completing the journey through the dark cave, we will come to the exit of a Tiandong, a cenote that is like a paradise. Here, Qiaomu Tanyou's coaches prepared a cave Afternoon Tea to replenish energy for everyone, so that you can relax and chat with your companions about the interesting things that just happened in the cave.

 Pingtang "Sky Bridge" is a key project of the Pingluo Expressway in the Pingtang to Luodian section of the Yuqing to Anlong Expressway. The bridge spans the Caodu River Canyon. The main tower is 332 meters high, equivalent to a 110-story building. It is currently the world's tallest three-tower cable-stayed bridge. Because of its light and elegant temperament, it is like a "sky bridge". Walking on the "sky bridge" feels more like being in the sky than taking a plane. It is given the reputation of "China's Sky Eye Seeing the Sky Bridge".

The Pingtang Large Radio Telescope Observation Deck is a viewing area surrounding the large radio telescope. Located in a relatively open area, it offers panoramic views of the telescope and its surroundings. The facilities are simple and practical, with walking trails and viewing platforms convenient for visitors to stroll and take photos. From the observation deck, visitors can observe the structure and operation of the radio telescope up close while appreciating the vastness and tranquility of the surrounding natural environment, providing a convenient experience that blends technology with nature.
