Overall, it was satisfactory. If only the staff were a bit friendlier – there were a lot of grumpy employees. Otherwise, it's consistent with Hampton's class. It's a shame they didn't have syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes) and blini (crepes) for breakfast like they did in Moscow. A special thanks to the female manager; her communication in Russian was excellent and she was very friendly.
Le Méridien Batumi, Batumi's most luxurious hotel, charges nearly 2,000 yuan per night, but the actual experience was deeply disappointing.
First, the room's soundproofing was extremely poor. On our check-in night, from around midnight until after 2 a.m., the noise from the square below and the disco music were clearly audible in the room, severely disrupting our rest.
Second, the service promises were unfulfilled. After negotiating with the hotel through the platform, they promised to upgrade us to two rooms on the other side of the building the next day. However, upon returning to the hotel the following afternoon, we were told that only one upgraded room was available, and the hotel offered no apology.
Furthermore, housekeeping was extremely perfunctory. After the room was cleaned, not only were new floor towels and slippers not provided, but the balcony ashtray still contained trash from the previous night. After repeated requests, the slippers were finally delivered, but they were of extremely poor quality, falling apart immediately after use, and completely different from the authentic slippers with the hotel logo provided on our first night. Such poor hardware and service levels hardly justify its ”luxury” positioning and exorbitant room rates. We can't help but wonder: On what basis did Ctrip use to rate such an unworthy hotel as ”No. 1 on the Batumi Luxury List”?
The room is small and the surrounding area is more complicated. This Wyndham feels average overall. And a bit far from the main attractions of Batumi. Low cost performance, not recommended.
Trip.com It is said that there is a laundry service, but it is actually charged, not that kind of self-service.
Overall, the room is large enough, the bed is small, the toilet has to be open for ventilation, there is still some smell, there is a mall and Carrefour supermarket a few hundred meters next to it, opposite the coastline, optional
The hotel is located 40-50 minutes walk from the sights. The rooms are clean, bright, spacious. Cleaning, change of towels, every day! Breakfasts are quite varied, you will definitely find something to suit your taste. There is a fitness area, Finnish sauna, swimming pool, mini children's paddling pool. Minus the pool is poorly cleaned, in the corners at the bottom you can see garbage, a little, but it is there. The hammam works nominally, there is no steam injection, it's just like entering a warm room.
Price-quality ratio.
First of all, I would like to thank Trip.com ! Because I originally scheduled the hotel to be under renovation and could not receive it normally, Trip.com took the initiative to contact me and replaced the nearby hotel for free. The price difference was borne by Trip.com , and the service was very intimate. After comparing the options, I finally chose this Indigo hotel in Batumi's old town.
When I checked in, the hotel manager gave me a detailed introduction to the history of the hotel: the building was transformed from the century-old Batumi National Bank building, carrying the city's financial memory and the imprint of the times. After introducing the architectural story, the manager also clearly informed that as a historically protected building, the hotel is prohibited from smoking. I fully agree with this rule, and I also like the hotel's care to protect historical buildings and create a comfortable environment.
During my stay, I really felt the multicultural charm of Batumi: the colorful mosaic windows in the lobby, telling the artistic heritage of the Black Sea area with kaleidoscope-like light and shadow; The hand-woven Georgian carpet in the guest room, with complex patterns and strong colors, carries the centuries of woven tradition and cultural heritage; There are also intact historical arches, re-engraved astronomical clock elements, and every detail conveys the historical context and human temperature of the city in a subtle way. From the financial imprint of the original National Bank to the design of European elegance and Georgian style, this hotel is like a miniature museum, which allows me to read the story of Batumi immersively while I am staying.
Отличный отель! 🏨
Мне все понравилось, приветливый и услужливый персонал;
Повысили мне категорию номера ;) классный вид
вкусный завтрак,
Тренажерный зал +сауна
В день раннего выезда собрали ланч-бокс
Все было чисто и аккуратно;
Рекомендую!
The hotel is located in the old town. The location is excellent!!
The rooms are relatively large and clean, the breakfast is normal, but monotonous, nothing has changed for 3 days, and cappuccino coffee is available for an additional fee...
The SPA and pool are terrible (I took the hotel only because of the SPA) VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
The pool is small and the water is cold, stuffy and unpleasant!!!
When we checked in, there were no towels, and when we asked they said only an hour later🤔
There were three of us and they brought everything for two!!! (towels, water, shampoo, slippers, etc.)
In general, the impression was not pleasant, for that kind of money you could have rented something more decent... I will never recommend it to my friends!!!
The place is great as well as the environment.
Please note that in winter you will need special transportation to get to the hotel.
There was too much chlorine in the pool.
A good, very large hotel. It is located near the sea. The room was very comfortable, large, warm, the cleaning was excellent. I really liked the pool, sauna and hammam. There is a fitness room, comfortable and always empty) Breakfast buffet, varied, delicious. There is also a casino there, but we were not there, so I can't say anything. Brief summary: - come, you will like it!

Very Good
GGuest UserThe people in the reception were very welcoming. The room is wide and clean. Every request dealt immediately. The morning breakfast was tasty and varied. I will love to come back and stay there again. Thank you
CChessmasterI have spent there 4 days. Check-in 15:00, rather late. Check-out until 11:00, its early, be ready for that as well. The apartments are on the 4th floor of the Steps building. I have arrived by plane. The time to get from the airport to the apartments building is about 40 minutes by foot. Or you may take a bus, though its unclear to me how you may pay it the bus without Batumi card that I had. The weather was rainy about 75% of time. Its a typical winter in Batumi. The wifi was working in apartments well. The cleaning done was every day or at least you are asked whether you need that or not. You need to wait quite some time until hot water at the shower starts. Due to bad weather my plane was postponed. The host did not help me with dealing with it, he just wanted to take 30$ whilst we agreed previously on 13$ by 1 more night by phone. So I had to figure out my new plane ticket and leave in a hurry.
BBuerderenLocated in the new district of Batumi, it's close to the airport but a few kilometers from the old town. However, Batumi's traffic is extremely congested; it took us over an hour to travel just a few kilometers in the afternoon. The city's management is truly terrible.
The room was small but fairly clean. It's very close to the beach. Because our flight was in the morning, we hadn't had breakfast, and there was a 50 baht deposit required to borrow an umbrella.

AAnonymous UserLovely hotel, right on the beach and in walking distance of all the sights of Batumi. Excellent amenities. Very relaxing and couldn’t be more helpful- offered my friend and I each a free upgrade. Would stay again!

GGuest UserIt's good value for money, it's close to the beach, the nearby park is good for walking, and there's a bus stop close to the hotel, so it's great for getting around the city center.
It was a shame that I couldn't use the swimming pool, but I was satisfied with the sauna facilities and the variety of breakfast options.
