The room is duplex, but the kitchen is unusable and unusable. Carrefour is next to it. The room looks a bit dated. I don’t like the look of the sheets. It’s not white, it looks dirty.
It’s a bit of hot when I registered, and I have tried to turn on the air conditioner, but it didn’t work. I called the reception desk saying the air conditioner can’t work, she said the temperature was not too high and suggested me open the window if I felt hot. And she still told me the air conditioner would work at night…actually, the air conditioner didn’t work at night also. Meanwhile, the WiFi is terrible in my room. It can’t connect with internet although it looked like have been connected. And it’s funny that the WiFi run well when I was out of my room.
The room was clean and the main staff was more welcoming. The room was indeed a bit small and the breakfast was not very rich. It is more suitable to stay near the airport and the room is very new.
The hotel has a strategic location and a spacious beach. It's not the first time I've been to this property, but this year it's gotten worse in terms of the facilities and services. Staying on the lake side means checking in and out in the main building. You can book a restaurant dinner at reception, but if you dare ask for an outdoor table, you can't choose one unless you go to the restaurant and ask the waiter. The welcome at the restaurant is terrible. The waiter decides on the tables based on his acquaintances. You queue politely, but if a lady who knows you arrives, everything stops. If you stay in the lakeside property and need water in the evening, there's no room service. In short, it seems like you're not a guest to be pampered, but they're the ones doing you a favor.
Historical hotel in the heart of Arpino.
The outdoor spaces, as well as the cleaning and gentleness of the staff are very much appreciated.
Caracteristic , absolutely recommend!

The location is a bit out of the way. While there's a bus stop right outside, Italian buses are notoriously unreliable, so you'll need to walk a bit to get to the subway station. There are a few restaurants, cafes, and a small supermarket nearby. The facilities are a bit dated but well-maintained, giving it more of a business hotel feel. The room was smaller than expected but clean and tidy. The double bed was made up of two single beds pushed together. Breakfast was decent.
We stayed as a family in a premium bungalow, it is very clean and well equipped. Im honestly really impressed how clean it is. All the linen, towels, duvet are spotless. There is a dishwasher, but we didnt have a dishwasher cleaning tablets, so we couldn’t use it. There is a bbq, we didnt use it either. The pools amenities are fantastic and really clean. There are a few eateries, a shop, a laundry. Our location was far from the pool and playgrounds, the closer units might be challenging to stay in with kids, there is a lot happening and it is loud late in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed it and kids loved it. We didnt need the shuttle bus, so cant comment on it. The only thing is that after a checkout I entered a shop to buy something and kept my credit card in my pocket, when I wanted to pay at a cashier, my card disappeared. I searched the small shop in case it fell out but no success. So I guess you have to be careful.
An Unforgettable Stay with Exceptional Service at Starhotels Hello, I’m a traveler from Korea who recently stayed at Starhotels during a family trip to Italy. Our 4-day stay in Rome was so wonderful that I felt compelled to write this heartfelt review as soon as I returned home. This trip was our very first family vacation to Europe — with my mother and my son — and we spent the first three days in Rome at Starhotels. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations: the excellent location, the spotless rooms, and most of all, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made our stay incredibly comfortable. We were so satisfied that we decided to return to Starhotels for our final night in Italy. However, due to a mistake on my part, I accidentally booked the wrong date. After completing a long 11-day journey through southern Italy, we returned to Rome exhausted — only to realize the booking was incorrect when we arrived at the hotel. It was a stressful and overwhelming moment… until Mr. Tofael M., the manager, kindly stepped in to help us. Before even fully understanding the issue, Mr. Tofael looked us — especially my son — in the eyes and simply said, “Don’t worry.I’ll find a solution for you.” Those few words brought such relief and comfort. In a foreign country, such a mistake can feel paralyzing, but his calm and genuine reassurance made a huge difference. Even more touching was how Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola S. at the front desk went out of their way to find a solution for us. Since the booking was made through an external site (not directly through the hotel), it was a complicated issue. Nevertheless, Mr. Tofael personally made multiple calls and followed up diligently until he was able to resolve the matter. Thanks to his efforts, we were able to spend our last night in Italy exactly where we wanted — back at Starhotels, feeling safe and cared for. As someone who has worked for years in global hotel chains in Korea and is still in the hospitality industry, I can honestly say that their professionalism and dedication truly stood out. They are a model of what true hoteliers should be — and they absolutely deserve recognition and praise. Without hesitation, I will choose this hotel again when I return to Rome. I also plan to recommend Starhotels, along with the outstanding service of Mr. Tofael and Ms. Paola, to as many people as possible through blogs, travel communities, and any platform I can. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I booked this hotel as it was within walking distance to a conference venue nearby. The hotel staff were very kind and I was able to check in early as my flight to Rome was early, this helped a lot as I was able to freshen up before visiting the sights . The nearest metro station is Eur Palasport which will take you to all the tourist sights . The reception staff was very kind to make me an espresso in the morning as the coffee machine was not working.
Very close to Termini and an easy walk. Very well lit with simple walkways and adequate for accessibility. The room was clean, with information cards, towels, robes and a simple safe for valuables. There is breakfast available in the dining hall and luggage storage should you chose to walk about Rome before or after your stay. GOD FORBID, you need to use a bathroom on the ground level, however. My stay was perfectly fine until I needed to toilet before our departure. When I asked if there was another bathroom for use, I was told that I could use the train station bathroom (€1,50) I must have just been another traveler off the street to the staff looking for a sneaky free toilet use standing there with my luggage. After the staff recognized the mistake they wanted to usher me to another bathroom. I opted to pay the €1,50 than to be insulted further. “Good luck in Europe” is the hospitality you can expect in Rome.
Great place, had a lovely stay and room was amazing. Incredible sunset views. The receptionist didn’t seem too friendly/welcoming. She had a hostile attitude but it did not ruin my experience with the other hotel staff
Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again.
