TTheBlackPearlThe room was spacious and well-appointed, with a lovely view overlooking the pool and out toward the sea. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the spa area, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty. The location is about a 40-minute walk to Kotor Old Town, which we didn’t mind at all as the scenic coastal views along the way made it an enjoyable stroll.
One aspect that detracted from our experience, however, was the inconsistency in staff hospitality. While several team members were kind, welcoming, and helpful, the initial check-in experience was disappointing. The staff member who check us in came across as unfriendly, and another interaction included an abrupt comment along the lines of “you get what you pay for,” which felt inappropriate and unprofessional.
Given that similar feedback appears in other reviews, it may be worth reinforcing customer service training to ensure a consistently welcoming and respectful experience for all guests. With more consistent service, this could easily be a standout stay.
QQlobThe only positive aspect of this hotel is the view. Swimming in the sea is not advisable unless you have a very strong immune system, as the city's sewage is discharged just 100 meters away.
Most staff, except for the friendly front desk team and the two Black ladies at breakfast who were very lovely, were extremely rude. Interactions often felt tense and could escalate for no reason.
Asking questions or making reasonable comments was met with hostility. For instance, we asked about guests reserving pool chairs at 9 a.m. and not using them until the afternoon, which happened frequently. The pool waiter rudely stated that guests can ”do whatever they want” and refused to address the issue. How is this even acceptable at a place where the number of seats is very limited? Every luxury hotel has a policy against such practice...
As others have mentioned, staff treat guests inconsistently. We followed a couple into the restaurant who was warmly greeted by the manager, but when we passed by and said hello, we received only a cold stare without a smile. The staff's behavior falls far short of 5-star hotel standards.
OOlga G..We stayed at this wonderful hotel for three nights and were thoroughly pleased. The room was small but clean and modern, equipped with everything we needed, and featured a balcony. The pool was simply fantastic—we couldn't stop admiring the beautiful view of the bay. We also want to highlight the cuisine; we really enjoyed the various pasta dishes, but the chicken risotto was an absolute favorite—we simply loved it! It was incredibly delicious. And, of course, the warmth and hospitality of the owner and all the staff will stay with us forever. The owner—a wonderful, kind, and attentive woman—personally walked us to our room, explained everything, and arranged a parking spot for our car. We will definitely return! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
GGuest UserThe property is well-placed if you have a car – roughly ten minutes in either direction to Tivat or Kotor Old Town. Just be aware that the approach is via very narrow lanes, so confident driving (and a smallish car) is a plus.
Although the building is relatively new, the overall impression is more functional than polished. The staff were pleasant enough, but housekeeping felt a little on the half-hearted side – things like topping up shower gel or toilet paper only happened when requested, and bed linen wasn’t changed despite being obviously soiled.
If you’re looking for somewhere budget-friendly and manage your expectations, it does the job. Just don’t come expecting boutique-hotel standards.
VVasilyeva MariThe location is a bit hard to reach on foot, but we knew that when we booked since we had a rental car. There's plenty of parking both outside and inside. It's currently off-season, and the hotel is still getting ready for it, so the interior grounds aren't spruced up yet.
The room isn't visually perfect: the sofas are a bit worn, and the laminate flooring is slightly warped. But for us, that wasn't an issue; we're not picky. The room has everything you need for cooking (except salt and oil), which was a lifesaver because eating out all the time can get expensive! Plus, there's even a dishwasher with tablets.
We went to the gym a couple of times. The equipment is a bit old, but still usable. There was also a sauna, but we didn't get around to using it.
The TVs support YouTube, which was a nice bonus.
The view from the room was also excellent, overlooking the Bay of Kotor.
The staff were polite and always ready to help.
It's funny, we extended our stay twice! We really liked it that much.
GGuest UserThe hotel is part of the city wall, old and traditional decoration style, travel is very convenient, the service staff is very enthusiastic, help us book a boat and book a car is cheap, breakfast is rich, hot water is good, the only suggestion is that two handles can be installed next to the bathtub to reduce the risk of slipping. Very warm hotel!
GGuest UserThe hotel I stayed at was a small, cozy, and clean place by the sea. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Everything went smoothly and perfectly. If I have the chance in the future, I would definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserA beautiful new hotel from a well-known chain. We love this hotel chain: the service is top-notch, the staff is friendly, it's clean and cozy, the food is delicious both at breakfast and à la carte, there's a beautiful view, a private sandy beach, and a gorgeous pool. The room is large and beautiful, with plenty of amenities, including bathroom and bathroom amenities, and a beautiful terrace with heated floors. Thank you for the warm welcome! We'll definitely be back!
KkentkaiThe hotel is located in the middle of the ancient city square, the location is excellent, the use of ancient buildings to renovate, gorgeous decoration, warm and comfortable, breakfast variety is rich enough, the attitude of the service staff is very harmonious, the parking lot is outside the ancient city, you need to book in advance. It should be noted that the hotel's beach is 10 kilometers away from the hotel. It is coming to Perast. It costs to take a taxi. I am self-driving. The beach can be parked free of charge. I need to book in advance, and I need 10 euros for the beach. Of course, the beach has A very beautiful hotel, it is super good to eat 15 euros per person, so you can have a meal by the beach.
