Located in Negombo, a 10-minute walk from Wellaweediya Beach, Room near airport in Negombo Beach has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The property provides a shared kitchen and room service for guests.
Complete with a private bathroom, the rooms at the hotel come with air conditioning, and certain rooms contain a balcony. Guest rooms will provide guests with a desk and an electric tea pot.
St. Anthony's Church is a 13-minute walk from Room near airport in Negombo Beach, while R Premadasa Stadium is 22 miles from the property. Bandaranaike International Airport is 4.3 miles away.
It's a transit accommodation before catching a flight, so I didn't ask for too much. The basic requirements can be met. It's not far from the airport, the room is very quiet, there are two staff members, they don't speak English, you need to call the boss to communicate, the staff will help with the luggage, etc.
The boss seems to be Jewish (see other comments), he speaks very quickly and competently, you can make an appointment with the boss to send you to the airport for an early flight, the price is reasonable, and it's also on time.
The only thing I don't like is that the room has a heavy cheap fragrance smell, I felt a little dizzy when I first entered the door, otherwise it's good for transit. The price is reasonable, it's good for transit
I am very grateful to the host for having come and brought me a tug. Visit with high ceilings, not dusty. The pure air conditioner worked noisy. Insects were not seen.
A perfectly normal hotel to wait for flight
My stay at Sesaya Hotel & Canapé Bistro was absolutely wonderful. I stayed for a week and genuinely enjoyed every moment. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made a big difference.
The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, especially considering how affordable the price was. I loved the modern interior design it felt clean, stylish, and cozy at the same time. It really made me feel at ease throughout my stay.
Canapé Bistro added to the experience with its lovely atmosphere and great food. Overall, Sesaya Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and value for money. Highly recommended!
The villa is a private residence rented out by locals, so the surrounding environment is quite ordinary. The owner is there when providing breakfast in the morning. One night, the power tripped on the first floor, and no one could handle the emergency. Fortunately, the power didn't trip on the second floor. The two of us girls went back to our room early to rest, not daring to go out. There were no slippers in the guesthouse room, and the manager told us to take off our shoes before entering. Our bare feet got black, so if you mind, please bring your own disposable slippers... It takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi from the guesthouse to the fish market. The guesthouse has a kitchen, but it doesn't have a range hood, so you can only steam or boil your own food... (PS: The seafood at the fish market is really cheap)... It could be used as a transit point...
A brand new facility with a good layout and spacious rooms. Bed was comfortable, exactly what I needed after a long day of travelling. The air conditioning is extremely good with 2 AC’s in a room. Clean bathrooms and the room came with a kitchen equipped with all necessary essentials.
Their manager, named Dilshan ensured my stay was smooth and comfortable from the moment I arrived there till I checked out. Professional, pleasant and a helpful person.
Overall, I had a great experience here and would definitely return.
The settings and pool are fabulous. The accommodations look amazing. However mine was damp smelly and I felt stuffy and had headaches every day. Windows at night couldn’t be open due to monkeys etc
The owners guna was a lovely man…he really was but he failed to solve anything ref the room. Felt he wasn’t concerned at all.
Building work started 8am- gone 6pm which was not at all relaxing by pool or morning coffee. I failed to do my yoga as noise was too much.
I have to say with the smell damp and noise I did not enjoy my stay at all. Although food staff & settings were lovely

CChironTThe place is good for the price. The location is very close to the beach and restaurants, has a nice garden and pool, with lots of common areas to hang out in. The bed was comfortable and room decent with a nice balcony. They seem to only focus on cleaning the basics. I wish they’d clean a little bit deeper, and fix a couple of things because the place could be quite nice. There are some bugs - to be expected in a tropical, budget place but not too bad. Mainly there was lots of ants in the bathroom, and the walls aren’t properly sealed so it’s easy for the ants to get in. If they just did some very basic repairs, renovation and deep cleaning the place would be great. I’d still say it was good value for the location and I would stay there again if passing through Colombo.
GGuest UserDespite my plane being delayed it was easy to contact Ravin who was an amazing host and organised my trip round Sri Lanka during the car ride to the hotel, it’s going great so far with excellent recommendations. The hotel is clean, peaceful and has strong air con with a very comfy bed. Will be staying here again

PPrevenaI had a comfortable stay at this hostel in Colombo. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport, nearby restaurants, and local attractions.
The room was basic but clean and well-kept. The bed and bedding were comfortable, and the shared facilities were tidy and functional. The common areas had a friendly vibe and made it easy to socialize with other travelers.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, providing useful tips about local places to eat and things to do in the city. Check-in was smooth and the overall atmosphere felt safe.
The price was great for what you get — a simple, no-frills place to rest while exploring Colombo. I’d recommend this hostel to budget travelers and backpackers looking for a friendly and affordable stay.

Ss_530Wonderful experience to staying in the important architecture. The site is originally owned the De Saram bros. and given to the Bawa trust then became an accommodation for public. The building is renovated by Geoffrey Bawa, so it’s must visit for architects and designers. The building is in good condition, it’s not for luxury but for indifferent experience. The master staff is really nice and knowledgeable, he kindly showed me other rooms! I had a pleasant and precious experience here. Note: wifi and hot water is really good. Breakfast is international style. (non Sri Lankan) The main entrance is really deep from the street, you just ring the bell of the huge black gate.
GGuest UserThe Erandi Guest House offers a wonderful accommodation experience. It's conveniently located near the airport, which is a huge plus. The family running the business is incredibly welcoming and helpful. During our stay, Nissanka, along with his wife and their two lovely children, made us feel right at home. They provided great suggestions for affordable travel options and must-see sites, and even assisted us with various provisions. I highly recommend this guest house for solo travelers and bachelors looking for a comfortable and accommodating place to stay on their first and last days near the airport.
SStace79Great place to stay. Staff were very good and helpful. The breakfast was good. Room size was spacious and it was great to have a choice of AC or calling fan. Great to having a working smart TB too. Choice of minibar options was perfect and at reasonable cost. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.
