Geraldton backpacker is a nice little historical building that has been repurposed for backpacker stay! The lady at the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The shared kitchen is big and well equipped for almost any cooking!

At first, it look very old but after sometime, I can feel very relaxed and good atmosphere here. I can sleep very comfortably even I have to do a bit of hike/jump to my upper bunkbed. The mattress is very good quality and it can make me sleep comfortably, that's the most important. Also, the location is the best in the heart of Perth CBD and next to Chinatown, many yummy foods there. Bathrooms are plenty and very clean. Their staff customer service skill is second to none. Very happy staying here for three nights yeven if I have to do a bit of hike/jump to reach my comfy bed mattress (Other three upper bunkbed in the room are good, its have the ladder screwed properly, just my upper bunkbed. It's good exercises).

The location was decent, conveniently situated between two train stations and right next to Chinatown, offering plenty of dining options. The room was spacious, and the top bunk bed was quite high, which provided good privacy. The shower water temperature was satisfactory, but the water pressure was very weak. There weren't enough hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes. This meant if someone else in the room was using the shower, you couldn't shower, as there were no other communal shower rooms in the hostel. On the plus side, there were enough washing machines, and the dryer worked perfectly, getting all clothes completely dry in a single cycle.

A nice hostel not too far from Perth city center. Good things I liked: - Comfortable mattress, with a small curtain for a little privacy - Staffs were nice and helpful - common areas, kitchen, and showers/toilets were cleaned daily - Plus point: Breakfast included (simple toasts with peanut butter/Jam/choc spread) - Free coffee and tea (not the best quality but ok) - near bus stop and grocery (Woolworths) Not so good things: - rooms are quite cramped - no signage outside, bit confusing & hard to find for first timers - Most of the furniture and kitchen facilities are quite old - front porch & yard seems messy & unaesthetic - Price-to-quality ratio: ok The free breakfast, nice & helpful staff, kitchen space and social areas make this hostel recommendable. However, needs for hostel signage & revamping of all spaces & furnitures would make it a highly recommended hostel.

I nice stay in Freemantle. All the guests are travellers basically. Big kitchen. The usual standard for a dorm. Bags everywhere. But sheets clean, and everyone is respectful. Affordable prices too compared to Perth CBD.

This time I booked an 8-bed room for 5 days. The location is very close to the coach station. It is very suitable for people without a car. The room is not always full. The staff is very warm and friendly. Even if I booked a mixed room, I learned that I have room. A female companion will try to arrange an all-female dormitory for us! Moreover, the cheap price package also provides simple breakfast, which is a surprise! Although the hygienic environment may not be very good for picky people, this backpacker hostel is very pleasant. The toilets and bathrooms are very clean, and the common area is also regularly cleaned. It is much better than most affordable backpacker hostels!

This place is great good value for money. But I would think twice before staying here on a Thursday or weekend if you need to sleep which I did. As it’s packed on the weekend and then when pub closed patrons came back to their room and kept partying. When I asked people to shut up I was told basically to “go away” what was most annoying was apparently one of the people making noise worked at the roey. So although I still take the place I just won’t stay on weekends. But overall still good value for money and great service and nice rooms.

The owner is nice. It’s more like a share-house, well arrangements with public areas. Not crowded, it’s clean and comfortable. People there are friendly like friends. Suitable for short and long stays.

It was nice hostel. I really impressed the quality. The bed is really good so I could sleep very well every night. The shower room is so clean. I’m really satisfied. Thank you so much. I definitely will stay again !!!
