Loved my stay at Che Lagarto Ipanema! Amazing location, chill atmosphere, and awesome people. Beds were comfy and the staff were super helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

The staff are happy and performing, but, as everywhere has its problems, the jewelry climate has made me not so much interest, as it was my first trip with hosting, it has been a wonderful impression. The bar could have more drink options, but they make some tasty drinks. One thing I didn't like is that they did not provide or warn before having a chain to lock the bed box at home, however, it was not a big problem, because I could buy one in a shop in the street next door. Location is excellent near everything in Búzios and with a vibrant multicultural community, I met many foreigners and are open minds.

The hostel is well located, near the historic center, breakfast is ok for 30 real value. The environment is bacon, I met a legal and animated gallery. Travelers from various nationalities were hosted.

Walking to the beach for ten minutes, it is actually less than 1,000 meters because there is a slope but the downhill is fast. The nearby residents belong to the poor. There are more motorcycles. There is a small shop at the entrance of the hotel. It is safe to swipe credit cards. It is not safe to come out at night, but foreigners go out to play in the middle of the night! The balcony of the room is very good. The roof looks at the sea. The breakfast is rich in fruit. The egg kitchen can be cooked. The price is good! Hygiene can be cleaned every day.

Daisy is the best! She should get a raise for her hospitality and service. I felt safe as a solo female traveler, the location is also near the beach, safe and worry free. Room is spacious and clean! 10/10

The hostel is right by the sea, but the beach isn't really suitable for swimming due to the cleanliness of the water. To the historical city center it is under half an hour by foot. Here also the boat tours to better beaches depart. A small supermarket for the necessary conveniences is nearby.
The pool of the hostel is well maintained and a nice cool off for hot days. The rooms have a good size and are at a good price. The only thing that confused us was that we did not get new soap after 5 days we got by on very small soap bars.

Very fun place, not too ”modern” in the sense that it wasn't a soulless expat place for people who don't care about actually learning about more local experiences. Perfectly situated two blocks away from Copacabana. Staff were very friendly.

CChristopherA lovely enclave in a quieter part of town, about 3.5km from the city center though walking distance to the beach and a few nice spots for a drink or meal.
The hosts are delightful, friendly, and helpful, they will go out of their way to help you and to make the most of your visit.
The garden is beautiful and the breakfast is fresh and filling. The accommodations are nice, not luxurious though clean and comfortable.
I would happily stay again if I returned to Paraty.

CChristopherA very charming bed and breakfast. From th outside it doesnt look like much, but inside is a small peaceful oasis. One block from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the historical center. The rooms were well taken care of and extremely clean. The breakfast was a perfect mix of everything. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help or give suggestions about the city, restaurants, and excursions. You´ll be glad you stayed.

No kichen facilities, but a fridge and a kettle are available. Such friendly staff! Construction going on at present but they are very considerate. The pictures are the view from the balcony of the ladies dorm.

GGuest UserWe love the hostel, only points are the distance to the beach where it happens by a very poorly located track or by vehicle, I don't advise to stay in the hostel if you don't have a car. Another morning coffee point could be a little earlier and the shower does not warm mt, the inlet service to the exit was impecable.
