Great experience! The two ladies of the staff have been extremely nice. They helped us in every way they could. The hostel has amazing shared spaces, plenty of sunlight and plants (+ three cute birds!). The room has what you need, simple and neat. We liked our stay very much :)

You get what you pay for. Not the worst place I've stayed, but it's in need of a little renovation. The room was okay, but the women's toilets in particular weren't fully functioning, and the bathroom was quite humid with caked-on dirt. That said, all the rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaning staff do their best. It's secure for solo female travellers and a nice base for easy day trips around the spectacular area. Great location, helpful staff and clean rooms. The only improvement that could be made is the room temperature. It was boiling hot and there was no way to control it.

Location was really good, just near the train station and a bus stop going to train station and Kumbum Monastery, but it's quite hard to find at night especially it's in a dark alley. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, when I stayed, the water was on and off (mostly off) ― some people had to call the staff to turn it on. And that made the toilet unusable as well!

The location was excellent, situated right next to the Bell Tower. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. The overall feeling looks good, and the check-in experience is average. If it is the peak season in summer, it should be great. It will be very lively when there are many people. The owner was very hospitable, the room was excellent, and the price was great.
