Hostels in Qinghai, China

The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the community is lively, unlike many other places! The staff are friendly and helpful, and above all, the bathrooms are kept clean. Without a doubt, one of the best places in town!

Nice room with view from neighborhood. It's 30min walk from downtown but there are plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. I was the only guest during the 4 nights I was there, so not much of an atmosphere despite the nice social areas. The heating system (underfloor) works only in the night so it's a bit chill during the day. There are hot showers and possibly of doing laundry (10yuan a load).

It was absolutely amazing! The owner was so welcoming 🤗 It was wonderful to chat with people from different places and with different stories, sharing travel experiences and itinerary recommendations! I also teamed up with my roommates, which helped alleviate the loneliness of traveling alone 😊

Excellent hostel! Enthusiastic and friendly young owners who welcomed me with social activities and evening hotpot. The location is excellent, 15 minutes walk between train and bus stations and the mosques. Easy access by bus to Kumbum monastery. Showers are hot and there was a washing machine but I didn't use this. Minor drawbacks: it's a cold hostel so you need to wear layers inside, and the cleanliness is only average. Overall, it's a really good budget hostel and I'd stay again for sure.

The hostel is fancy and staff so nice. The bed is soft and clean, but toilet a little smell of urine. The room is big and comfortable with a sofa, a desk to work or read book. Good place to meet up new people

This was my first time staying in a youth hostel and it was a great experience. There are three of us. When we booked the room, we basically looked at a four-person room, but the store was very attentive and reserved a room for us specifically for three people. The store owner is also very nice. Especially that little sister. Love it, love it! ! ! !
