Hostels in Sichuan, China

The room was super comfortable and spacious, cleaned very well. It is located right next to IFS and the main street of Chengdu with lots of local food stalls near by (even a fresh fruit stand outside the hostel). But the absolute best part were the staff!! They all spoke very good English and super helpful. I was almost stranded in Chengdu and Keya is the only reason I managed to catch my flight back home! Also wonder place to meet people - they have many common areas :)

The facilities are quite comprehensive, and it offers great value for money. There's a common area on the second floor where you can meet other travelers, so overall, I was pretty satisfied with my stay. However, during my several-day stay, the staff didn't inform me that I could get a free bottle of water daily. When I asked about it later, after being there for three days, the staff member was reluctant to give me what was rightfully mine—just one bottle of water. That was completely unnecessary and quite a mood killer. Their service awareness definitely needs improvement.

The hotel's overall environment was clean and elegant, and the room was spacious with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the toiletries were complete. The cleaning staff were thorough and attentive with their service. Overall, it was great value for money and a very pleasant stay.

The location is excellent, and the room was clean and tidy. However, there aren't many bathrooms or toilets, so during peak hours, you might have to wait a while. I only stayed for one night and didn't visit any of the public areas.

very nice place. The area is not crowded and very close to the lake. they have one bike to rent for 15 rmb per day, which makes it convenient for solo travellers. Additionally, they have a common kitchen fully equipped that costs 10 rmb to use. It's really nice for making breakfast or coffee. They have coffee filters and pour over equipment if you fancy it. The room is clean, and there are plenty common space to hang out, and there are washing machines on the top floor with soap. Highly recommend this place!

The courtyard, with bedding airing in the sun and flowers in bloom, truly felt like stepping back into the 1970s. The kind gentleman overseeing the place busily made up the bed with a soft, pure cotton plaid bedding set, gesturing to show it was freshly laundered. I deeply felt the warmth and kindness from both him and the owner, and consequently enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing night's sleep. I also visited Qianfo Cliff, Huangze Temple, and Jianmen Pass.

This place is good for traveller and also for the students. This place finds me very attractive specailally for its cleaniliness and quite enviornment. I will love to visit again here .

Fabulous hostel, i loved it. All wood made, this place offers all a backpacker may need (various cleaning soaps, loudry, drinking hot water, board games ,etc.). Super clean, the dorm is large with window. Plagues and bed light. No heating but an electric planket keeps dreams warm and cozy. Running hot water. Amazing common spaces inside and outside with breathtaking view on the surrounding of Kangding. The host, very gentle and friendly, speaks good english and has two cute and fun cats. My staying there was too short but very pleasant.

The environment here is pretty good, my roommates were all quiet, and the views are nice. Plus, it's only a five-minute walk to the subway station. The only minor issue was that the water in the far-right shower stall in the girls' bathroom kept fluctuating between hot and cold. But that's a small detail, especially considering how incredibly cheap it is – less than thirty for a night!

This hostel is located on the fourth and fifth floors of Evergrande Plaza and has likely been open for less than two months. The male and female dorms are on separate floors, which is a thoughtful touch. The facilities are impeccable: new sheets and duvet covers, bright and clean bathrooms, and a freshly set up common area. Everything is new, even the faint smell of recent renovation still lingers in the air. Interestingly, the initial awkwardness between the staff and guests also feels 'new.' The guy at the front desk pauses and thinks before answering directions, and guests in the common room are glued to their phones, occasionally making eye contact, smiling, and then looking away. This 'breaking-in' period actually feels quite authentic. I've stayed in many hostels, and sometimes places that are too new can feel a bit uncomfortable. There are no notes on the walls, no half-empty condiments left in the fridge by previous guests, and the staff and guests are almost too formal with each other—it feels like it's missing some stories. But then I think, new also has its advantages. It's clean, tidy, and everything is a fresh start. In a way, everyone staying here now is among the first guests. Over time, the walls will naturally gather doodles, regulars will become known by name, and this initial awkwardness will slowly evolve into something else. I look forward to seeing this hostel grow.
