**Hygiene:** The environment was very clean.
**Location:** Chunxi Road is right downstairs, with tons of snack shops and clothing stores. Taikoo Li is just a short walk away.
**Service:** Patient and friendly! It was a wonderful experience.

This hostel is super easy to find, right by the bus stop. I just followed my GPS and got there in no time. The rooms and common areas are spotless, the beds are neat, and there's no weird smell in the bathrooms. Had an amazing experience! Highly recommend!

1️⃣ This time, there was a guy in the six-bed male dorm who snored incredibly loudly. Even with earplugs, I didn't get a good night's sleep. I usually sleep very well and fall asleep easily, but this guy's snoring was just too much. I really think people who snore that loudly shouldn't try hostels [crying face R].
2️⃣ The young people at this Chengdu hostel are even friendlier than those in Nanjing. Different guys in the room and the shared bathroom proactively said hello and joked around with me. They told me the washing machine was free if I needed to do laundry, and one even asked how the hairdryer became so flexible in my hands [face with hand over mouth R].
3️⃣ Woke up early and saw the city's light and shadows during sunrise from the common area, it was beautiful 🌇
very nice place. The area is not crowded and very close to the lake. they have one bike to rent for 15 rmb per day, which makes it convenient for solo travellers. Additionally, they have a common kitchen fully equipped that costs 10 rmb to use. It's really nice for making breakfast or coffee. They have coffee filters and pour over equipment if you fancy it. The room is clean, and there are plenty common space to hang out, and there are washing machines on the top floor with soap. Highly recommend this place!

The courtyard, with bedding airing in the sun and flowers in bloom, truly felt like stepping back into the 1970s. The kind gentleman overseeing the place busily made up the bed with a soft, pure cotton plaid bedding set, gesturing to show it was freshly laundered. I deeply felt the warmth and kindness from both him and the owner, and consequently enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing night's sleep. I also visited Qianfo Cliff, Huangze Temple, and Jianmen Pass.
(For context, I was a black female solo traveller)
Location
On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road.
Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area.
Service
Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work).
Facilities
It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!).
Cleanliness
Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used!
The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place.

What a perfect hostel! A few steps away from the bus station and at walking distance from Kangding main square and the monasteries
The hostel is clean, well organized, with a large communal space, a fridge and traditional stoves
The room (6 female dorm) is spacious, there is a window with mountains view, the bunk bed is large and equipped with light and international socket; there is even an electrical blanket for keeping you warm at night
The large outdoor terrace between reception and dorm building is so lovely and has a great view over the mountains and river
I really liked the rustic feel and thee extensive use of wood of the hostel

For young travelers visiting Chengdu on a budget, staying in a hostel is the best value for money. This particular hostel is in an incredibly central location, right next to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. Step out, and you're directly on a bustling pedestrian street with an abundance of food options downstairs. The subway station is also just a few minutes' walk away. It attracts a youthful crowd, including many backpackers. During the day, we were 'special forces' style tourists, constantly exploring delicious food, visiting attractions, taking photos, and sightseeing. Then, we'd return to the hostel for a comfortable night's sleep.

This hostel is located on the fourth and fifth floors of Evergrande Plaza and has likely been open for less than two months. The male and female dorms are on separate floors, which is a thoughtful touch. The facilities are impeccable: new sheets and duvet covers, bright and clean bathrooms, and a freshly set up common area. Everything is new, even the faint smell of recent renovation still lingers in the air. Interestingly, the initial awkwardness between the staff and guests also feels 'new.' The guy at the front desk pauses and thinks before answering directions, and guests in the common room are glued to their phones, occasionally making eye contact, smiling, and then looking away. This 'breaking-in' period actually feels quite authentic.
I've stayed in many hostels, and sometimes places that are too new can feel a bit uncomfortable. There are no notes on the walls, no half-empty condiments left in the fridge by previous guests, and the staff and guests are almost too formal with each other—it feels like it's missing some stories. But then I think, new also has its advantages. It's clean, tidy, and everything is a fresh start. In a way, everyone staying here now is among the first guests. Over time, the walls will naturally gather doodles, regulars will become known by name, and this initial awkwardness will slowly evolve into something else. I look forward to seeing this hostel grow.

Very warmth hospitality, arrived early morning at TFU, and found this place to rest in early morning. The auntie super kind and nice. Such a lovely aunt. Thank you for accepting my early morning arrivals. And the place is so nice. Convenient, near subways, clean and quite. Very recommended ^^ They provide you a comfortable slipper to use at the place.

Very Good
Near IFS, just take Exit E1, go straight until you reach the park, then turn left. Walk until you see a local market on the left—the hostel is there. No coffee in the room, but there's a kettle, so we bought drinks from outside. Room was serviced daily with new amenities, but it didn’t feel very clean. We checked out the rooftop but didn’t use it. Level 3 felt pointless—we only went there for check-in and check-out. It would be great if they offered some activities or at least a coffee spot there.

The staff is wonderful. I'm pretty confident that Desti can really well trained for their team. Laundry areas need more space to hang the clothes. The environment is calm n cozy. Keep it up.
The owner speaks English and is very hospitable and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. However, you need to take the stairs to get to the hostel so if you have a big and heavy suitcase, you might need to consider it. The owner (and a very kind guest who happened to stay there) helped me though. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station. They also have a big dog and a cute duck. It was a pleasant stay overall. Recommended.

The substitute teacher in the store is full of enthusiasm, and the young people staying there are cheerful and lively. Make friends, chat and share interesting things in life. Everyone gets along well and communication is smooth. I like it here. . . The environment is quiet. Quiet and elegant. Clean and hygienic. A very satisfying accommodation experience, clean and sanitary. The service is in place. A very satisfying stay

I love the curtains that cover all the beds for some privacy. The hostel is quite clean and wonderful! The receptionist is helpful. Please prepare 50 yuan for the deposit. The location for this hostel is easier to find. Enter the entrance (exactly like the address provided) and take the elevator to level 4, you will see the reception desk! The location is nearby to the People's Park, Museum of Chengdu, Museum Art of Chengdu and Science Museum! All the museum entrances are free (for now)!

Good
We stayed in a private room for one night only. The room was okay, the bed was wide and comfortable, the bathroom was okay too. There was a little dust in the room. Good impression overall. The common space of the hostel is very nice, warm and charming. Plenty of games, tables, a terrace, vendor machines, bar... The hosts are very nice and friendly. The hostel is close to the subway and a lovely street with lots of street food. We recommend and would stay again.
