Hostels in Gangwon State, South Korea

This place is a perfect place for those who want to stay close to the big beaches, but not on the big beach itself^^ The area is super quiet and the beach is a little bit deserted, but it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the central beach with all all the facilities. The owners met us with the drip coffee bags with a password, we didn’t really see them all this time, which is perfect for introverts too 🙌 We especially enjoyed our breakfasts outside at the terrace, and the food was exceptional, thank you so much for preparing those kimpabs and hot sandwiches 💛 They also had towels and you could use as many as you wanted (one towel per day I guess?) The only thing that was disappointing was the absence of the elevator (we had to carry our suitcases to the 4th floor), but it was the only inconvenience, so it did not really ruin the whole experience!! 🙌🥹👌 There weren’t that many people living on our floor, so it was not that noisy (maybe take some earplugs for the night tho?)

It was a very clean and comfortable hostel !! The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the water pressure and amenities were all good! Seafi Beach is within walking distance and the population beach is not far from the taxi, so it was quiet and nice to play

家族で経営されてるようで、とても可愛らしくてアットホームなホテルですた。友達5人で利用しました。私は1人部屋なので2階でしたが、友達は2人部屋だったので4階でした。エレベーターがなく階段のみなので、そこだけが残念でした。 だけど荷物は部屋まで運んでくれるし、チェックアウトの時は部屋まで取りに来てくれます。

This year's event is on June 8 Starting at seven o'clock in the evening, many tourists will come from all over the country to watch. After the sacred tree was delivered, starting from the fourth day of May, the main rituals were held, which were divided into the morning drink offering and the Dragon Boat Festival sacrifice. During the sacrifice, the food on the table, such as the Dragon Boat Festival wine and rice cakes, would be distributed to the tourists. Folks felt that You will learn better if you eat it, haha. Finally, at the end of the seventh day of the fifth ***** month, there will be offerings and burning offerings to the gods. The paper lanterns and paper flowers used for sacrifices in the past few days will be burned, and then prayers for a good harvest will be over.

The homestay run by my aunt alone has received guests from many places, but because it is off-season, there are only one other guest and I. During the two days in Gangneung, I went to Jeongdongjin to watch the sunrise, but it was a pity that I couldn’t see it because of the fog.

The location is a bit remote, but this price point chooses a family apartment that is more cost effective and prefers a small attic. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the day is a holiday, there is no shop in Chuncheon. There are very few people on the street. Go there to avoid the festival.
