The staff is very friendly. The room is clean and warm. I will choose this hotell again.

A motel on the town of Kanab, far from Monument Valley, is also a hotel that can be easily booked on an agency website, not bad. WIFI don't think about it. When you check in, the hotel staff will tell you that because it is a wireless access Internet, the signal is almost useless. The room is quite big and the facilities are good. As always, the American motel looks like. The restaurant across the road is very cheap and tastes good. There are also Madon Dang nearby. There are also several fighting battles.

I recently spent a week (second week of April) staying at this property and knew when booking it that I had to keep my expectations in check. The location was great for access to the car rental agency, airport and downtown locations I planned my week around. There is a Denny's, McDonalds and a killer good Mexican restaurant all with in a block or two. The property is worn and dated but all common areas are clean and without any musty or overpowering smells. The rooms are surprisingly large and I was quite comfortable with my bedding and pillows. The unfortunate thing was that during my visit they were unable to provide any air conditioning as their system was still set for winter. After returning to my room on the second day and finding it at 85 degrees I had to discuss options with the desk. They were very understanding and were able to move me to a cooler room that I was able to deal with after buying a fan from the local Walmart. I did note that the toilet paper holder was askew and partially pulled from the wall. The metal towel holder had at one time been ripped from the wall and reinstalled without any concern for the resulting sharp edges from the resulting damage. My smoke detector was not mounted to the ceiling but instead resided on the shelf inside the closet. For me these were all little things, excepting for the air conditioning, and inconveniences I could handle. If my wife had been with me the place would not have worked and I felt for those guys that were checking in with their female partners. This is basically one of those places where traveling construction crews utilize (at least during my stay it was). The staff is friendly, accommodating and left working with what they have do deal with the best they can. I almost got what I expected when booking this chain, however I have had excellent past stays at other Comfort Inn locations. Salt Lake City is very easy to maneuver and knowing that now, I would not hesitate to look for a better stay a little further from the central city. Would I stay again? Only by myself and on a tight budget. It was not terrible, unsafe, or dirty and did what I needed - just don't expect too much with the price.

However, we were told that the hotel was sold out and we were given a room on the second floor with two double beds overlooking the parking lot. We thought that was strange, since the parking lot wasn't close to full, but the answer appeared at 10:00 p.m.: three buses full of high school kids from California. They were bouncing off the walls until midnight. When I tried to call the front desk to see if they could calm down, I learned that the phone wasn't working. I reported the problem to the desk when I walked down, but the phone was never fixed. The next morning, the breakfast room looked like a tornado had blown through. (They stayed two nights.) The hotel is constructed such that lower floor rooms can hear ever footfall and other noise in the room above--ugh. We stayed three nights and had housekeeping once, although key items were not replenished. My wife had to make two trips to the front desk before she could find someone to get the necessary items (recall no working phone). Sleep was not in the cards, as the mattress turned out to be rather uncomfortable.

What a beautiful spot in the middle of nowhere! The drive in through Monument Valley was breathtaking. The staff at check-in was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean and lovely. We loved the river view and walked down for some pictures. We had breakfast at the restaurant next door and it was good. The seasonal fresh fruit was the best I’ve had anywhere! The only reason for a 4 and not a 5 was that we had a funky bathroom door. It drug on the floor and was very difficult to close. Not a huge deal, just a bit inconvenient. We highly recommend the San Juan Inn!

The hotel is about 40 minutes drive from zion national park. You can drive around the park until about the evening and drive to the next day. It takes about 2 hours to get to Las Vegas the next day. Hotel facilities are relatively new, breakfast is simple, parking is convenient, can be used as a break point for Peggy to Las Vegas.

Great motel, very clean, free breakfast, very kind service staff, plenty of parking spaces, especially the beautiful rose flowers at the door. Staying in this motel is the first time I have stayed in a motel in my life. It is so big and clean with a refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. I was looking for an inexpensive place to sleep and shower while on a three day hiking and park visiting journey. I chose the Travelodge not knowing what to expect when I got there. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a very comfortable bed, clean accommodations and a small but nice bathroom. Sometimes you get what you pay for but I feel I received more than I paid for this time.

It was confirmed on Ctrip on the same day. On the side of the entrance to the Archs national patk in the town of Moab, there are several gas stations on the main road of the town, and it is convenient to purchase various hot and cold drinks and snacks. Free parking. Breakfast is said to be coffee and bread, from 7 to 9 o'clock, but in order to enter the national park to watch the sunrise, did not have time to eat.

The service of the hotel is very good, the service at the front desk is better, and the brand will be recognized in the future. Ctrip's overseas service is better . Will always choose Ctrip service, cheaper and more comfortable than other hotels. Good

Unlike any other hostel I've been to, this place does not let people check in after 10:30pm. My flight landed after that so I contacted them to cancel. While strange, I can respect the policy, but it wouldn't work for my stay. I asked to check in late and was refused. No problem, but that would mean I needed to cancel. Even though I had just booked, I was denied. I was charged the full amount, not even just the first night's stay. Reasonable people can work out a fair solution. Instead I was told I could stay in a private room if I paid more, or, I could sleep on a couch in the public area. Unacceptable. Expect to be refused service and refused a refund. Never had an experience like that with any hostel worldwide. Draconian and weird.

and either is the price. so the Discovery is an old motel for sure. ive payed more and stayed in condirions much worse. The room we had smelled really nice for our stay. the beds were comfy and more comfy than the Hampton inn we stayed in the previous night. the staff was way beyond nice the grounds were clean. the hot tub very relaxing. yea the room had its issues but all were minor and didnt effect our stay in anynway

I am a Platinum Choice Member and a Choice Hotel Employee. I checked into this hotel on October 21 in the afternoon. Upon checking in as I walked up to the desk I had stood there while the man at the desk was talking bad about his coworker to another coworker. I was not acknowledged. He ignored me for 5 minutes to do that, then when the coworker he was talking about arrived, (which was a really sweet girl with black curly short hair). He began to tell her about the things she did wrong right in front of me and she looked helpless. Then, when he finally thought it was time to check me in, I booked with points and he WROTE my credit card down on a piece of paper which I thought was completely unprofessional. When I asked him about it he pretty much shunned my input and told me not to worry about. He gave me my room keys and told me nothing. Didn’t tell me where or when breakfast was, how to get to my room, nothing. I then went up to my room and the keys did not work. Fine. Went back down and he made my room keys again. Went back up to the room and the room was dirty and pitch black inside. Went back down and he seemed not too pleased to see me because he was too busy scolding his coworker for what she did wrong the previous day. I let him know my room was dirty and he said “Oh that one wasn’t cleaned yet.” He did not apologize. I then asked him if I could just cancel, I was very calm and I just wanted to go somewhere else. Since I am a platinum member I thought he would consider my feelings but he told me I could “Call them and try.” As if he already knew he wasn’t going to cancel for me and acted as if it was my fault my room wasn’t clean. He was so rude. He yelled as I walked out the door “I CAN GET YOU ANOTHER ROOM!” And at that point I had no more energy to deal with this man. I felt so bad for the girl that had to work with him, she was kind and seemed like right when she walked through the door he was giving her such a hard time. I feel that if this man was not there at check in, I would have had a better experience. I would have mattered but I still will not come back to this hotel. Worst customer service I had ever experienced.
