Hot Springs Hotels in Shandong, China

Our stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The hotel itself looks absolutely amazing, it truly feels like staying in a castle, both from the outside and inside. Our room had a beautiful sea view, which created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options, and the café with its balcony overlooking the sea was a wonderful place to enjoy coffee. The food at the café was also very good. One of the highlights of our stay was the concierge service. The concierge was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. He assisted us many times with our deliveries and always made a great impression. Most of the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming as well. The hotel’s location, away from the city center, is actually a big advantage for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The beach is not crowded, and the swimming pool is usually peaceful and not busy. However, there are some areas where the hotel could improve. The room cleaning service needs more attention. It wasn't good at all. Some cups at breakfast were also dirty or cracked. The service at the café could be improved as well. When we came to order afternoon tea at around 5 PM, one of the young staff members seemed unhappy and impatient because it was close to the end of his working day. After making a short call, we were told that the kitchen was not answering and that they were no longer working. This experience did not feel very welcoming. Though I understand he really wanted to leave work asap, he could share it with his coworker after we left, not in front of us 🤣 The hotel also has a Japanese restaurant, but the staff could not provide clear information about its opening days or availability. We were told it might be open on Thursday and Friday, but it was not certain. Another concern is the small zoo area. animals appeared to be staying outside in the heat all day. In particular, there was a dog kept in a cage outside during very hot weather (around 35°C), which was concerning and seemed unsuitable for the animal’s comfort.. The beach near the hotel was unfortunately quite dirty, which is something that could be improved. Regarding the swimming pools, the indoor pool felt quite cold, especially with the air conditioning, making it difficult to enjoy with a child when the outdoor weather is too hot. The outdoor pool area also has limited comfortable seating. There are only a few lounge chairs, and adding soft cushions or mats would greatly improve the experience and make the area more relaxing. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere, views, and peaceful location. The hotel has great potential, and with some improvements in service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, it could become an even better experience for guests.

The room was clean and spacious. The 1.35-meter bed was perfect for families with children. Since it was the Mid-Autumn Festival, the front desk even gave us Mid-Autumn gifts! Hotel guests can enjoy the hot springs for free. Children between 1.2m and 1.5m were charged an additional 30 and 60 for the bath, respectively. The kids had a blast! The hot springs were very relaxing, and breakfast was rich and delicious. The accommodation was clean and hygienic, with a huge laundry room. Plus, Zibo BBQ is amazing! This hotel was definitely the highlight of our trip!

This was my second stay here, and the hotel service was excellent. Miss Lin Feng at the front desk was incredibly responsive to all my requests, and even reminded me when I left something in my room. The breakfast selection was extensive. This time, I stayed in Building 5, which is right next to the unpowered playground and soccer field, and my little one had a fantastic time playing there.

A perfect trip! From the moment I arrived, I was stunned by the view. Sitting in the bathtub or lying in bed, gazing at the sea and listening to music, my soul felt completely purified. The croissants for breakfast were delicious, and from the window, I could see so many interesting things happening outside – like couples taking wedding photos, which made me feel surrounded by happiness. Before sunset, you can catch the most beautiful evening glow from here. It's so pleasant and comfortable. My nearly three-day trip left me lingering, I really loved this guesthouse!

A very warm business trip. The reception at the front desk was very enthusiastic. I took a special look at the receptionist, his employee number was 057, thank you. The next day, I was in a hurry to go out to do something and threw my used socks on the floor. When I got back to the hotel, the staff had already washed it for me. Although the matter is small, it makes me feel warm inside. Thank you service staff.

This is such a unique hotel!! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to heal and relieve fatigue!! The room has a small water heater, which avoids the problem of unclean kettles!! There's a huge private hot spring bath!! The subtle herbal scent is so soothing!! The receptionist, Yifei, knew I was there to relax and asked what time I'd arrive and if I needed the hot spring broth prepared in advance. She also arranged for warm air conditioning and online registration, allowing me to enjoy my time alone without any contact – I really loved it!! I feel a very high chance I'll come back again!!

The room was clean and tidy, and provided a large bottle of water, fruit platter, yogurt, and cookies. There was also a small tent, plush toys, building blocks, and a rocking horse, which the children loved. The breakfast was plentiful, and the hot spring was fantastic. The butler was very responsible, handling everything from booking, check-in, and check-out perfectly; their service deserves a thumbs up! At check-out, both kids received a small gift, which made them very happy. A delightful day; we'll definitely come back for a vacation again.

The resort offers a stunning view and beautiful natural surroundings. However, there were a few challenges, especially for international travelers. Pre-arrival information was limited, and important details like the need to register vehicles in advance to enter the scenic area were not clearly stated on the website. I only learned about this by messaging the hotel via WeChat, which may not be accessible to all foreign guests. While the location was excellent, room maintenance could be improved for the price. The pool tub was not well maintained. As the resort is set in nature, it’s also worth noting that insects may be present in the room or bed. Overall, a scenic stay, but more proactive communication and better upkeep would enhance the experience, particularly for foreign visitors.

The hotel's location is great, and since I booked a room with a view, the scenery was fantastic with some picturesque spots perfect for photos. However, the breakfast selection wasn't up to par for a five-star hotel; it wasn't varied enough. Plus, there was no doorman service at the hotel lobby entrance. Shockingly, the bathroom windowsill had a crack, which wasn't mentioned during check-in. After I switched rooms, I found the new room's fridge was broken and had a strange smell. I really hope the hotel can make some improvements. On the positive side, the front desk and other staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Despite the great location, the hotel has not been maintained and many things are looking a bit worse for wear. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned during our stay and only after I complained to management was it thoroughly cleaned. They towels and bedding have seen better days. The amenities does not look anything like the pictures. It all needs serious renovations. The billiard room as featured was non-existent and the gym is only 3 machines which doesn’t even include a treadmill. Staff members were very helpful, kind and accommodating, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of maintenance. We were very happy that the beer festival was on the premises and enjoyed the music and food. Views from the room is breathtaking.
