Hot spring Hotels in Taiwan, China

The hotel is brand new. Interior Design jS especially fantastic. Many details display like lighting, towel handle, floor materials, room size, charging pots, high quality flushing system...etc. The view is nice, facing Yang Ming mountain. Close to night market. However it takes around 10-15mins walk to Jian Tan mrt station. There are convenient stores downstairs and bus routes to various station. Will consider to stay again next time.

We stayed here on the last day before coming back home. Staffs were really nice and friendly. The rooms looked like as we expected from the photos. The rooms need abit of renovation. Alot of stuffs are abit old. Some switches are broken. We still had a very good time with the hot spring bath.

1) sulphur springs smell like sulfur 2) it’s musty in part of it (it’s a hot springs hotel) 3) it’s in an area with a lot of hot springs 4) it’s 20 minute walk from city center 5) breakfast buffet kinda sucks 6) the private sulfur bath tubs when using the sulfur option is really sulfur but you can dilute it with normal water 7) it has public sulfur hot springs at the facility 8) rooms can be cute but sulfur bath smells like sulfur 9) if you are going to be there for one day : I recommend coming early . We arrived at night and really didn’t get to enjoy the city or facilities as much as we should have. 10) if you want to experience hot springs there are also public options without getting a hotel room at one of these resorts 11) probably check out the beitou museum up the street for their set meal cuz it’s cute. 12) I wish I had dipped in the sulfur baths more : it really smoothes the skin . I didn’t because I came in the evening

Hotel staff are super friendly and offer extraordinary services. The breakfast buffet comes with quite a wide range of food options. You can buy the voucher on their website for a cheaper deal. They even provide complimentary afternoon tea with simple snacks and desserts for guests (free white wine!). Overall very nice stay here!! Strongly recommended for couples ❤️

My wife and I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We took the hotel 10-seater van (after breakfast) and small bus (after dinner) down to the city twice to tour the city and visit the hot spot tourist traps. We walked down to the nearby convenience store the first night to stock up on drinks (recommended). We tried the in-room hot spot twice as well as the public in-door hot spot once. We also tried the a la carte (recommended) as well as the set course meal (over priced) at the hotel restaurant. The free breakfast buffet is decent. Finally, we swam at the pool (right next to the public in-door hot spot) and tried the Mario cart-like racing and zombie killing VR games (free for one play each hotel guest per day). The hotel staff are courteous and professional, and their smiles are very welcome. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day.

Supplementary comment~The scenery is too beautiful🥺 We checked in because we were celebrating an anniversary! The hotel also helped with the decoration and provided a bottle of red wine which was very thoughtful☺️ I didn’t go anywhere, just stayed in the hotel and it was so relaxing☺️ There are so many different styles of dinner, but it’s a pity that people with small stomachs can’t hold so many things..😂 After eating, you can go to the play area to move around and throw a basketball to digest... I was so full that I played darts and pool 😂😂 It was so fun 😁 There was some incident at breakfast the next day that I won’t go into details~ But the hotel's handling method is very good. It takes our feelings into consideration! Tea was originally given to us as a gift, but we did not accept it at the moment. But when we checked out, the hotel staff personally gave us handmade bread from the hotel’s baking department and insisted that we accept it😀 I will still choose here next time I go to Nantou for vacation^_^

A very good accommodation experience. This is my second stay and I got a discount on the weekend! Book now. This time I stayed in a landscape house, which turned out to be facing the stream! Feel very comfortable! The room is quite large, with wet and dry bathrooms separated and a regular bathtub. Amenities, water, coffee and tea are provided in the room, as well as slippers and bathrobes. The breakfast options are also quite diverse, and there are many foreign waiters, which is of good quality.

We booked a Japanese Superior Room for one adult, one teenage and a child. The room is way too small. There isn’t a place to put our luggages. The luggage rack adjust beside the door is not usable because if you put even a cabin luggage on the rack, you won’t be able to open the door. There is also no extra room to move around in the hotel room. Other than the room size, all other things are fine. Service is good and breakfast is very good too! The location is very convenient as it is just a 10-15 mins walk from the train station. There are convenient stall just a few mins away and there are many options for restaurant and street food nearby.

This hotel is great and new in good condition. The hotel room is spacious, shower area and the hotspring tub are big. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great amenities, free mini bar, good locations with shops, convenience store and small local restaurants around the hotel. There is a game room, kids and adults enjoyed. Have stayed multiple times, Parking in the basement is convenient and not crowded. The environment is neat and clean, There are many places to eat nearby. The service attitude of the check-in staff was very good. Breakfast has many choices. Taitung's first choice for housing.

The overall environment meets expectations. The view from the top floor is vast and Guishan Island is clearly visible. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic, professional and conscientious. The breakfast content is healthy and rich. I hope Chengkuo will prosper and continue to improve~

Very near the station about 10 minutes walk. You will get a voucher to change for freshly cooked food using the hot spring just beside the hotel entrance but it closes by 8PM so make sure you check in by then. Hotel room is spacious and clean! Great price for the room! Breakfast is decent and sufficient.

The hotel is not far from the train station. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. There are stone roads all the way, which makes dragging luggage quite tiring. Mu En was recommended by a friend. I booked Mu En International online. When I checked in at the front desk, there were not many guests. There was no smile at the front desk the whole time. The room I was given was in the next building. I smelled a musty smell when I got out of the elevator. It might be because of the carpet. . Entering the room, it felt damp and the facilities were old. The tap water could smell the rust of the water pipes. The shower head was also a bit rusty. The shower room felt small for one person to use. I just stayed for one night anyway. The breakfast was good.

Because the air conditioner in the western room is not very cold, an electric fan is needed. The bed is a king-size bed and is comfortable. The bathtub in the bathroom is large, so 3 people can take a bath together without being crowded. There is its own parking lot, and there is a parking lot in the lobby before entering the room. Instant noodles and drinks are provided. Overall, the environment is not very good. It should be a hotel that has been renovated. There are many small flaws. However, because the price is more favorable for holiday stays, picky people may not like it.

There are 2 hot spring pools in the room, and bath salts are also provided. The room's terrace view is superb. Especially the night view. Breakfast is served until 1 o'clock and the meal time is 90 minutes. There are many kinds of food. There are common Chinese and Western breakfasts, the boiled beef soup is delicious, and the brie is smooth and milky. There are 4 flavors of ice cream, the Hokkaido milk flavor is my favorite. Enjoy the night view at the top-floor restaurant with a discount of NT$200 per person. Welcoming refreshments are also provided, including small cakes, cookies, canned Coke, 7-up, and 4 types of paper-wrapped milk drinks. Make great memories!

1. It is really surprising that a hotel with high-end appeal makes guests wait until close to 5 o'clock to check in. We delayed check-in by 2 hours, but we were told that we could compensate for 1 hour of check-out. Hmm... Am I not good at math? 🙀 2. In order to prevent the children from affecting other guests, most families with children are arranged to stay in the hotel building. However, most of the hotel's functional facilities are in the main hotel, which makes people feel inconvenient! 3. Some service staff may need more training, otherwise the lack of manpower will not make people feel that the hotel staff are professional and smiling😊

The parent-child room is very suitable for children to play and discharge. The racing room has a large space, but the crib is a bit hard. The children are not used to sleeping on it. The bed of the crib is a bit sunken and hard, and the pillows are too short, so I can't sleep all night, and I toss and turn. Yes, I worked hard until about four o'clock in the morning, and then I barely squinted with the little babies. The big bed is more comfortable, so Dad slept well.

Every time I come to Taipei and Beitou! Stayed at Izumi Hot Spring Hotel, the location is too excellent! The room place is bright and hygienic! The hot spring water is comfortable! Skin instantly smooth and sunburned! It also includes a rich breakfast! Very good! Come again next time!

I've been here many times. Parking is convenient. The appearance of the hotel is comfortable. The restaurant seats are very good. The outdoor public soup is great. The scenery is also good. But... the breakfast dishes are really not good.

Location of the resort was close to Xinbeitou station, so it is quite convenient. However, unless you want to spend time in the spa district or go westwards to Tamsui area, I would advise to live closer to the city centre. In terms of the room, it is spacious, but it felt quite old and dark. The robes they provided, although in a sealed bag, felt unclean and had a stench but luckily the bathrooms were fine. The bath was probably the redeeming feature of the hotel as it filled up quickly and was very comfortable to sit in after a long day of walking. The included breakfast is incredibly mid - hot food didn’t feel hot enough - but it is good enough for a light snack to start the day.

For this price, the room was spacious, clean, the bath in the room was hot spring, it was within walking distance from Xinbeitou Station (there is also a pick-up service by Oyado), and it was reasonable. Part of the floor was tatami mats. It was close to Geothermal Valley. There is a promenade, and the check-out time is noon, so it's just right for a walk in the morning.

The overall experience at Beitou Hotel Royal was pleasant at 3.5 stars out of 5.0, but it didn't meet 4.0 stars for me. Check-in is on the 6F, and then you get a room between 7F-10F. There looks to be 11 rooms per floor (number 4 is skipped). The massage and spa are on 11F while the public hot spring is in 12F, and is accessible either by elevator or by stairs. There are solo male and female hot spring areas, which are quite small and cramped (3 mini pools, 2 saunas), and then there's a larger male and female area, which is a lot bigger and more comfortable with two large pools but are at lower temperatures. There are also lounge 4 chairs to chill on and 4 long wooden benches to sit on. Unfortunately, you need to bring your own swimming gear for the latter part as they dont sell these there. Thankfully, the rooms are very spacious (rectangular shaped instead of square shaped) with the toilet and shower plus hot spring separated, which is the right way to do this. However, the toilet is quite small. The lighting could be better as could the a/c, but the in-room hot spring is just big enough for two adults. The room uses a lot of white so it doesn't feel too dark. Breakfast is on 1F, and it's to the right when you enter the building. Service is decent, and you can't beat the location as it's right near the MRT station so the in-hotel food doesn't have to be good. This spot is just a step down from Beitou Asia Pacific Hotel, which we only very recently went to.

Excellent service, spectacular view from room and restaurant, great food too. Basically you just bring own clothes to get in, nothing else. It provides plastic slippers, unlimited drink/ snack, clothes to change, basic skin care products (even mask!). And there is shuttle service from/to the train station. Excellently experience. No complaint at all.

Returning to Taiwan to quarantine this hotel, the hotel at this price did not report high expectations, did not expect to stay, the room perfect planning and decoration style, quite experience. Open design, let the room look very open. The room is equipped with dry and wet separation bathroom, the sink is located outside the bathroom door, easy to use. The right side of the door is a simple kitchen cabinet flow table, convenient for light food; and living room with IKEA single foot wooden table isolation, can be used for dining and office, table under set small refrigerator, appropriate use of space. The IKEA simple orange low back sofa isolation between the oversized bed and living room, let the bed face the room most characteristic red brick wall, the ceiling with black pipe and 6 black gold lampshades, plus iron pipe assembled into the open hangers, create a strong industrial wind. Because it is during the quarantine period, other public facilities cannot be used; but the meals provided by the hotel are very good and have local characteristics, such as breakfast omelet, dinner Sushi cooking, dinner Angelica duck noodles ..., eating home flavor is really touched!

We stayed five nights here. The room was awesome - it was a studio apartment really, with considerate touches like a cubby seat where shoes are kept, equipped with a handlebar for those who need support to get up from a seated position. There's a tatami room with a platform floor where there was space and more for our teenaged daughter. You get a choice of normal water or hotspring in the bathtub. I found the hotspring water so healing. I injured my knee some months ago and it still ******d with pain from time to time. The knee was fine after the hotsping soaks. We had dinner at the restaurant on our first night, having just flown in. The food was great! We were the last patrons. The friendly chef even came out to chat with us! Breakfast is sent in stacks of bento boxes to the room. There's a choice of western or oriental. Whichever the choice, there was too much delicious food. We asked them to reduce the selection by one or two items. Staff were helpful and friendly. One of them saw me struggling to communicate in Chinese and quickly came up to tell me that I can speak in English with her. My daughter wanted to buy a box of their cookies on our last night there but the restaurant was just about to close and they didn't have ready stock. Nonetheless, they prepared our cookies and delivered them to our room within half and hour. The cookies were scrumptious! Do try them! They come packed in an elegant wooden box too. Location-wise, the hotel is near the beautiful Tamsui area. It takes longer to get into the Taipei city area - where the shopping and cultural district is - but it is convenient by LRT. A big thank you to all the lovely staff of this wonderful hotel!!

Never thought of having a tropical forest hot spring hotel in Sanxia, ​​this is really a beautiful stay experience. The entire camp area is full of green plants and the facilities are well maintained. From the detailed introduction at check-in to driving up the mountain and entering the room, it felt wonderful. This time I stayed in a quadruple room with a view. The room was super large and it was easy to park (there is a parking space outside the room). You can walk or book a shuttle service to go up and down the mountain, which is really considerate. The game center is also very carefully run, whether it is desktop computers, game consoles, or even PS racing and switch! The hot spring spa itself is even more powerful, with various hot spring pools of various sizes, including hot and cold springs, ice pools, negative ion waterfalls, spa pools, etc. It would be even better if there was fresh milk to drink like in Japan! After enjoying a hearty breakfast the next morning, we started a mountain climbing trip and met my friends from Tainan! What a wonderful stay

We loved our stay here. It’s the perfect hot spring for all kind of trips. Amazing for families too with perfect spots for youngest to enjoy. There is only one thing to complain: the quality of the food, we had breakfast (pretty decent), but lunch options are really limited, not much veggies to add in your plate and not very healthy options. Also, the cut of the meats weren’t the best, so the meat we tried was really hard to chew. The staff, specially in the main building are really helpful and kind. I

Conveniently located on the beach, a five minute walk from the train station. The room was large and clean. Bed were very comfortable. Lots of amenities. I like that the room had two toilets. The breakfast was copious, so much choice, mostly Chinese foods but delicious. The only thing I would say is the down side of this hotel is that the façade looks run down. It desperately needs a new paint job to look like a luxury hotel. The inside is really nice but the outside looks abandoned. But I noticed this is often the case with many buildings in Taiwan. The upkeep of the façade doesn’t seem important to them.

My husband and I checked into a room on the 11th floor on April 2nd. On the morning of April 3rd, we experienced a 7.2-magnitude earthquake in Hualien. I just woke up and heard a sound coming from the wall in the bathroom. I never knew that the feeling of an earthquake was so shaking. My whole body shook left and right. Damn, it’s really scary! Fortunately, the hotel building is also strong and no damage was caused. I like that the bathroom is big. Although the hot spring is a beauty hot spring, it doesn't feel very decent. It's great to have two sinks, but maybe because of the design, water often sprays on the body, which is a bit troublesome. The bathtub and toilet are separate. In terms of soundproofing, you can only hear people talking in the isolated room after the earthquake if the next door is louder. In addition, the service staff are also very considerate and helpful. For example, if the hair dryer in the room is broken, they can go to the front desk to provide me with a new one. However, they did not clean the room or remove the trash after staying for four nights. The cleanliness is quite disappointing! After staying here for five days, I didn’t feel too uncomfortable. Instead, I felt relaxed and comfortable. It’s very suitable for a business trip. It's just that there aren't many choices for breakfast, and it's almost unchanged for four days.

This villa is in a very good location, just a 15-minute walk from the old street. There is a bus stop, and it only takes 5 minutes to get there by bus from the old street. It only takes half an hour to the nearest MRT. The room was very comfortable and I had a great sleep. The facilities in the large public bath are a bit old, but everything is in place. Breakfast is ok, The waiter was very friendly, helpful, and considerate. He prepared different breakfasts for me for two days.
