First time visiting Beitou, and it was so close to Thermal Valley. The room was comfortable. Even though I saw some ants in the room, the location was excellent and the staff were very polite. I'd consider staying here again if I have the chance.

The room was upgraded to a family room free of charge. The bathroom and hot tub were huge and very enjoyable. The room was clean, and the front desk staff were extremely friendly. It was a great experience, and I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Jiaoxi.

The facilities are quite new. Although the bathtub had a slight odor, the water pressure was excellent. However, the bathroom floor lacked anti-slip properties, which felt a bit dangerous. Also, the room's soundproofing wasn't great. Overall, it was still decent. As for service, since it's a self-check-in/no-front-desk design, I couldn't really rate it.

The room facilities were quite new, and the staff were always friendly and smiling, making for a very comfortable and worthwhile stay. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring local delicacies like roselle tea, and even included a vegetarian section, which was a great bonus!

Great value for money! It's an older five-star hotel, but it's well-maintained and very comfortable. The location is convenient, and the views are fantastic with an open panorama. Safety feels assured, and all the staff are really nice!

The location is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and it's a one or two-minute walk to a bustling commercial street, and only 6 minutes on foot to the popular Yishunxuan bakery. It's convenient for getting around yet relatively quiet. The hotel exterior is grand, and the lobby offers complimentary drinks and snacks. It shares outdoor hot springs and a bathhouse with Just Sleep. The R floor has a fantastic regular-temperature swimming pool and two hot spring pools with great views. However, I wasn't a fan of the hotel's interior design. While the guest rooms are quite spacious, the layout felt cramped and stuffy. This is because the hot spring tub is located right by the window facing outside, and to ensure privacy, lattices have been installed, making it less open and airy. There's an air purifier in the room. Breakfast is on the 11th floor; the food is decent, but all the windows are completely covered by beige mesh screens. Only a little light can get through, so you have to turn on the lights even during the day, which isn't a great experience. The service attitude was very enthusiastic. The public bathhouse is small and the facilities are average. The outdoor hot springs are suitable for kids to play in. Overall, the value for money is just average.

For this price, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is super convenient, with a convenience store, restaurants, a pharmacy, and the Yishunxuan souvenir shop right downstairs. Tangweigou Hot Spring Park and its market are also nearby, and it's only about a 5-minute walk to Jiaoxi Station. I was very satisfied with the room's cleanliness and the service. The twin room was spacious, with two extra-large double beds that were more than enough for two people – very comfortable. Don't expect much from the welcome drinks and snacks though, haha! We were lucky to encounter a staff member who spoke Cantonese, and she was incredibly helpful. A big thank you to her!

Every detail shows the owner's dedication to running this place. There's also a lounge on the second floor with complimentary coffee and tea. We stayed in the largest room on the 4th floor, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were absolutely stunning. The bathtub was huge and very clean (which is the most important thing!). Although it didn't have a separate shower and toilet, it did have a bidet. The cleaning was truly meticulous; the glass was so spotless I almost walked into it, luckily there were signs. I've included a picture of my favorite corner. The housekeeper was very personable – thumbs up!

I was very satisfied with this hot spring hotel trip. After living in Taiwan for so long, this was my first time experiencing a hot spring with such a rich iron content. The room had a great view, though it was a bit low this time. I think the view would be even better if I could have booked a higher floor. The staff were friendly and the overall facilities were excellent. This stay left me with a wonderful memory.

Hotel Review: Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel (Family Stay) Our family recently stayed at Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience for both adults and kids. The combination of modern comfort, private hot springs, and a great location made it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. Location & Convenience The hotel is centrally located in Jiaoxi, just a short walk from Jiaoxi Train Station and close to local restaurants, night markets, and family-friendly attractions. The convenience of having everything within reach made our trip much easier, especially with kids in tow. Family-Friendly Rooms & Amenities We booked a family room, which was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The highlight for us was the private in-room hot spring tub, which allowed us to enjoy the hot springs as a family in a comfortable and private setting. The kids absolutely loved it! The beds were comfortable, and the room had all the necessary amenities, including slippers and yukatas, making our stay even more enjoyable. Hot Spring Facilities Apart from the in-room hot spring, the hotel’s rooftop open-air hot spring was a fantastic experience. The view of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking, and the warm mineral water was incredibly soothing after a day of exploring. It’s a must-visit, especially in the evening. Service & Hospitality The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating to families. They provided excellent service, from check-in to check-out, and were always happy to offer recommendations for nearby attractions and food options. Breakfast & Dining The breakfast buffet had a good mix of Taiwanese and Western options, catering to both adults and kids. While the selection was decent, we would have liked to see a bit more variety for children. That said, everything was fresh and well-prepared. Overall Experience Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel is a great choice for families looking to experience Jiaoxi’s hot springs in a comfortable and convenient setting. The private hot spring tubs, spacious rooms, and friendly service made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely return for another family getaway! Rating: 4.5/5 Highly recommended for families traveling to Jiaoxi!

It's in a great location, within walking distance of public transportation and pretty much all Xinbeitou places of interest. The staff were very kind and friendly. Our room was very large and the bed was big and comfortable too. The free snacks, tea and coffee were a nice touch. I read other reviews complaining that the rooms are old and in need of renovation. The curtains were old and had holes in them, but other than that our room was in good condition. We made good use of the hot spring bath, which was our main reason for coming up to Beitou. I was surprised that bathrobes were not provided, which would have been appreciated. The bathroom stayed damp after using the steamy hot bath on the first day, but the cleaning staff wiped it down on the second day. If it hadn't been quite so cold outside we could have opened the bathroom window to let it dry out more quickly. Breakfast was typical buffet style, maybe not enough variety for typical Westerners, but we were satisfied with the selection. All in all, it's a nice hotel for visiting Xinbeitou area and having your own large hot spring bath.

The hotel was nice, and clean. We booked it for it has hot spring tubs inside the rooms. We enjoyed it very much. We also liked the buffet dinner and the buffet breakfast. We had a good one night stay visiting Sun Moon Lake, as it's close to the pier side where the bike trail starts. We only stayed for one night so we didn't get to use their other facilities.
