JJennlynzThe rooms was awesome. Can see The Lost World of Tambun from the balcony. The cooking utensils is provided but no cooking allowed. The Hot Spring pool is great and kids enjoy it. Location is central to go to most places within 15 to 20 mins drive. McDonaldâs and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are nearby. Overall we really enjoy it....

GGuest UserOur stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The hotel and the surrounding are stunning, the staff is super friendly and the facilities could not have been better. Upon our arrival, our rental car had a flat tyre and the staff was so helpful and fixed this for us immediately. As travellers from Europe this is an excellent service which is so helpful when you do not speak the local language to communicate with for instance the people at the garage. Additionally, we received a free upgrade of our hotel room from the lake villa to the garden villa, for two nights in a row. This villa with private pool and garden is stunning. All the caves and the surrounding facilities are so impressive and nature and luxury blends together perfectly. This is a must visit.

DDebasis NayakThe location of the property is excellent, and the building is well maintained. The unit is equipped with most essential amenities, including a refrigerator, washing machine, water heater, iron, and basic kitchen utensils.
However, several advertised facilities were not functional during our stay, including the kitchen stove, chimney hood, living room ceiling fan, and TV.
The check-in process could be clearer. I had to contact the property a day in advance to obtain the check-in instructions and pay a RM200 security deposit. The deposit was refunded a few hours after checkout without any issues.
The biggest downside of this property is the ongoing construction directly in front of the building. There was constant noise from drilling and blasting, and the area was very dusty. Construction work even continued into the night, making it difficult to relax and causing me a headache. If youâre looking for a peaceful stay, itâs worth checking whether the construction has been completed before booking.

I can honestly say this was one of the best stays I have ever had in Ipoh. If you are looking for relaxation, luxury, and convenience, the IWH Sunway Onsen Apartment is the place to be.
Here is why I canât stop raving about it:
⢠The Private Onsen: This is the absolute highlight. Having a private hot spring tub right on the balcony is an experience you usually pay premium hotel prices for. Soaking in the natural geothermal water while looking out at the majestic limestone hills was incredibly rejuvenating. It is the perfect way to unwind.
⢠The View: Waking up to the view of the greenery and the misty hills is breathtaking. It feels like a retreat far away from the city, yet it is so accessible.
⢠The Apartment: The unit managed by IWH was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated. The beds were hotel-quality comfortable (I slept like a baby!), and the amenities providedâfrom high-speed WiFi to the kitchenetteâmade it feel like a luxurious home away from home.
⢠Location: You are practically right next door to the Sunway Lost World of Tambun. Itâs incredibly convenient if you are visiting the theme park. Plus, there are plenty of food options and a grocery store nearby.
⢠The Service: The IWH team was fantastic. Check-in was seamless, the instructions were clear, and they were very responsive to any questions I had.
I would highly recommend this to couples looking for a romantic getaway or families wanting a fun, relaxing trip. I am already planning my next trip back!

AAnonymous UserConvenient and ease as already included morning tickets and night hot spring tickets and also breakfast so everything is seamless.
Room floor should be spc wooden as tiles too cold and tiles flooring looks cheap for hotel, not a personal fans for carpet floor and luckily they did not install that.
This is 3rd time staying here, good place for our son to experience lost world tambun as he loved the animals here roam freely and feeding freely.
Room has a strong smell as we guess they use strong air freshener male strong musky smell to mask the smoking smell before us. Water given to us also past expiry date đ

From the moment we arrived, the resort manager, Mr Chong, made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Despite it being peak season with high occupancy, and our arrival late in the evening, he took great pride in personally showing us around the resort and its beautiful surroundings, including the Raja Brooke butterfly habitat. He also shared fascinating stories about the property and even kept us in suspense about why there were virtually no mosquitoes around the resort despite the presence of large fish pondsâa mystery that was only revealed to us the following morning at breakfast!
The resort itself is beautifully maintainedâclean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed to blend with nature. I especially enjoyed soaking in the hot spring pools, swimming in the refreshing mountain spring water pool, and spending quiet moments feeding the fish with complimentary fish food provided by the resort.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat. It is an excellent and peaceful escape from the city, offering a chance to reconnect with nature and unwind completely. The only minor drawback is that the access road can be challenging, but the experience is well worth the journey.

GGuest UserThe owner required us to put in deposit of RM100. We manage to get to put our lugage in the unit before we get to check in. The door lock seem to have issues when we check in the door nob like spoil.
The host does not provide additional key access unlike other unit we stayed before. And it is so inconvenient for us with family. Imagine if we only have 1 access card and if our family member went to swimming pool take the card we can't goes down to our carpark and we can't even goes to swimming pool,which mean we are stuck. Host just simply tell us to settle this problem ourself.
When we get out the door was unable close and we have to force close it and ended up we can't open the door. Host end up getting locksmith to come open the door we were not able get in our unit for 5 hours. Luckily my kids have extra clothes to change after playing the pool.
I can't imagine if my children were to stuck inside the unit can't get out.
I hope the host will take a look seriously on the maintenance of the home especially the lock.

JJanet HonThe property offers an excellent location with picturesque views of the theme park and mountains from the balcony. The onsen and swimming pool facilities within the hotel are notably comfortable and well-maintained, particularly when compared to those at the theme park.
The primary area for improvement lies in the check-in process, which I found to be inconvenient. It required me to proactively contact the hotel or agent for instructions, rather than receiving direct communication from them.
Despite this, I intend to book this property again on my next visit to Ipoh.
