I stayed for three nights, and could not have been happier with the comfort of the room, the COVID-cleanliness and precautions they took, and - most of all - the service from the staff. I needed help with an international call and in booking a ferry after I left the hotel: they helped with both. And they didn't need to ... my international call didn't go through from the room (probably my goof), and they placed the call for me. When I had tried to book a ferry to Istanbul on a website that kept finalizing the transaction in Turkish, they helped me sort out the inputs. AND when my US credit cards were not accepted, they even booked using a corporate card, and added the expense/no surcharge, to my room. Finally, when I left my camera in cab after leaving the hotel, they worked with my (future) tour leader in identifying the cab, holding the camera for me, and mailing it to me forward on the trip. They didn't have to do any of this: I'd already left the hotel ... but they were excellent in helping me out. The location is good, per the other reviews, but what really makes them stand apart is how they genuinely take care of the hotel guests both in general property conditions as well as making the stay a comfortable one.From$56

The staff are GREAT, everything else is terrible. This hotel is one of the worse hotels we have stayed in, in a very longtime. It is OLD and very TIERED. The rooms were clean but felt dirty because everything was so old, the bathroom was from the 1950's, just horrible. The A/C did not work in the whole building, only the heat, we had to sleep with open balcony doors. The elevators are also very old and tiered, this whole building needs a serious renovation, or better yet, complete demolition and rebuild. There was no interior parking either, so guest cars stay in the all star sky parking. A hotel NEVER to stay at ever again.From$83

The front desk staff, bell boy, and others we interacted with treated us well, including those at the breakfast/restaurant area. The room was an average room (nice and clean), we didn't get a room with a view, at least that is what was available. That is why I'm giving 3 stars. We ended up using the swimming pool and spa area. After using it for about 20 minutes, a staff member came and told us - to be quiet. We (two of us) didn't even talk as both of us were on our phones. Again, they came back and told us they have another important (high-level Turkish) client and they didn't want us talking at all. I made sure I cancel my massage and hammam booking, I also told them that we are also important and as long as they are treating clients with levels - they can't earn my hard-earned money in that attitude. We complained to the on-duty manager and at that time, we made up our mind to cancel and nothing could change our decision. To be fair, the hotel was good for the price we paid ＜$50 and couldn't complain, but it's the disrespect that made us cancel.From$52

Worst hotel we stayed in Ankara. The staff of the hotel is incredibly rude. we had to go down again and again because there was a problem with the door card and the door. We preferred the hotel for the massage, but it was an underground salon independent from the hotel and the prices were higher and lower quality than the alternatives. If you are just looking for a hotel in the center or if you are looking for a spa hotel, it should definitely be your last choice. The ventilation of the bathroom is bad and it smells. The walls are very thin, you can listen to the conversation of the next room completely. They charge exorbitant fees for the products in the room.From$46

I have traveled around the world and my stay at Sheraton Ankara was, for sure, one of my handful excellent experiences. The hotel was well maintained, really prime location in Ankara with immediate access to best restaurants, cafes, and shoppings. The city view from the room was beautiful. But above everything else, the staff were very polite and helpful. The lobby environment is very welcoming and beautiful, with a very nice bar at the center. I’d like to particularly thank Melek and Golsen who were extremely kind to me and my partner to host us at the bar. Staff and people always are the most important part of your experience when you stay somewhere, and Sheraton is certainly lucky to have people like them in their team. From$150

The location is amazing,very safe place and 1 minute walk distance to most popular avenue.Rooms are extra clean and luxury.I will definitely visit this place again as we enjoyed king room as a couple,however day shift reception staff were not happy to work as it was obvious from their behaviour, no welcoming, we entered the hotel and negatively they asked our IDs. No information given, no bellboy offered, and when we entered the reception they didn't even ask or tell anything as i told them that we had reservation.So nothing asked like 'how can i help you?' In this kind of quality hotels i wasn't expecting this.Moreover,they didn't even tell us our floor so i guessed it from the number on our card! During their shift all they did were staring at us badly when we were going in and out.Housekeeping lady were much more positive and helpful.After we checked in to our room approximately 30 minutes passed and i couldn't connect to wi-fi so i called reception and what they told me was they didn't start our check-in procedure into system so i should wait to connect wi-fi, what i mean here is we didn't see any guests checking in , hotel was not crowded and of course i thought that after they got our info and let us go to room of course check-in procedure should finish but what i heard was they didn't even start it. Another thing i should add here is , our room wasn't prepared for us as it had no complimentary water, no shampoo/shower gel, no towels. Thanksfully housekeeping lady found it out and brought us everything after half an hour passed from our checkin, i guess again it's receptionists mistake.Night time staff in the reception were much better and positive.Apart from that it is well located,close to embassies and attractions,well equipped rooms with real luxury and high tech.Enjoyed every minute of our stay in the room and the view as well! Rooms were really sub standard. Told them for three days aur con not working, but insisted it was when thermostat read 26 degrees. Tatty furnishings, poor breakfast and closed many services due to low number of guests (I wonder why?). Had a leak from bath with water all over the floor. Refused to give me another room, as wanted to fix the problem and leave me in same room. Manager was completely arrogant and unwilling to prioritise guest comfort. Avoid at all cost!From$83

We stayed at this hotel twice: We lived 3 nights after Kutahia (including New Year's Eve) and on the back 2 nights, between Shafranbolu and Istanbul.
We were settled in the same number 4001 both times, why the illusion ”returned home” in the second inning was complete.
Located five to seven minutes walk from the Central Metro stop, on a quiet street, next door are traded with plates and books. Despite the presence of a number of restaurant streets, very quiet, even the mosque is only heard from a distance. Perhaps so only in winter, and in summer work cafes on the street and hear music. When choosing a hotel, paying special attention to the description of the noise, in the reviews there was a couple in the style of ”very noisy,” but in other hotels the situation was even worse, we chose this hotel and we were lucky - even on New Year's Eve here was perfectly quiet! In the bathroom, soap, gel, shampoo and air conditioner, sticks and hat. There are Rossmann and Watsons drogeries nearby, you can always buy everything you need.
Behind the corner Shock and Beim network stores, shopping centers and Migros. Mass! Mass is eaten around.

The staff at the reception was friendly, the hotel was quite dirty, the room was a little cleaner but you saw on the mirrors that was not clean with water (sliding everywhere).After all, the bedwax was clean. Unfortunately, only 1 towel was provided for 2 people but a few more was delivered on demand. Air conditioning did not go and there was nothing happening on demand. It is very noisy at night because of the nearby bars and therefore it is hard to think of sleep until about 1.30 morning. We had an amazing experience at Lugal, a Luxury Collection Hotel. The customer service was outstanding. They were very helpful in obtaining our luggage that was lost by the airline. The staff also made every effort to make sure our other needs were met. For example when we first arrived I had told Aysima that I was suffering from jet lag. She had the hotel bar make me a drink that was known to help with that. It was delicious. Also she had the hotel provide breakfast to go for our family when we had a very early morning flight to catch. The hotel staff provided a very large platter of fruit in the room the night before our flight. All of the staff was super helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. They always seemed to be smiling. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the bathtub was wonderful. We really enjoyed the variety of coffee and tea provided in the rooms.Our whole family was very impressed with this hotel and with the people. Lovely hotel and fabulous staff, excellent service in all areas of the hotel. Rooms were spotless and a good size. Toiletries and slippers included. Can’t comment on the food as didn’t eat here. One thing to be aware of, the parking is underground and it’s very tight and small and also steep. Our car got stuck and it took a lot to get it moving, we had help from an amazing team member. Apparently this is a common problem and often cranes have to come in and there is then a fee!From$109
