We love our family business and there are no chores at check-out, so you can relax!Our home is also close to Westglow, less than 5 minutes to the BRP/Price Lake/Moses Cone, and .3 mile to the Asutsi trailhead which connects you to ALL east side trails of Grandfather Mountain and is the only access point for these trails in winter.Mountain Flower Hideaway is a dream come true in every sense! It is a beautiful, amenity-rich cabin that provides guests both seclusion and a fabulous location minutes to Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone and all of the treasures of the High Country. The seasonal long-range views are stunning, the daily sunrise is awe-inspiring, and the property boasts ample parking for guests and tons of outdoor space for stargazing, mountain storm watching, fires in the fire pit, grilling, yard games, and walks through the property's unique rhododendron tunnel. The inside is no less impressive. The main floor is comprised of a master bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite half bath (and washer and dryer). The master bedroom has two large closets, an armoire, and plenty of room and natural light for relaxation. The full bath (with tub and shower) is also located on the main level. The kitchen is a cook's dream! It is well-appointed with anything that guests could need and is pleasing to the eye with granite countertops, soft-close drawers, and stainless steel appliances. Our home is located at 3,760 feet elevation on Appalachian Ski Mountain, and just minutes from Blowing Rock, Boone, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and sleeps 8 and offers everything you need for a relaxing mountain getaway!Main Level:The main level features two living rooms - one with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and a floor to ceiling gas log stone fireplace. The second living room has a wall of windows which allows the beautiful mountain views and sunlight to spill in. Once the sun goes down, you can curl up on the couch and find something to watch on the brand new 47” Smart TV. (2022). If you can’t find anything to watch on one of the channels with YouTube TV, don’t fret, the TV is preloaded with all the other streaming apps that you can login to. The updated and fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, bar seating for three, and is open to the living room and dining area with seating for six. Step out onto the brand new Trek deck (2022) deck and bask in the beautiful mountain views while the little-ones and/or furry-ones run around safely in the fenced back yard. Treasured Times at the Lake. This home was built by Ross Allen Custom Builders in 2023. Yes, Ross Allen is my sweet hubby. :) Ross Allen Custom Builders is very active in Blowing Rock, but also in the Charlotte area where we live. We are a family business and our two sons now work for the company bringing us new amazing talent. This home is one we use and treasure but also like to share as well. It is a stunning 4-bedroom (4th bedroom can also be used as main floor office), 4 full bath lakefront home in the quaint and picturesque neighborhood of SweetGrass, just minutes from downtown Blowing Rock. It is a fantastic location, close to all the mountain activities, dining and shopping, while also providing a beautiful lakefront/Grandfather Mountain view from the back porch. We built this home ourselves to bring our family together in one of the most beautiful mountain neighborhoods around. We love sharing it because it's just such a one-of-a-kind property with gorgeous lake and mountain views. This property features an open floor plan concept with a designer kitchen and large family room accented by a vaulted ceiling, spectacular floor to ceiling stone fireplace and a gorgeous wall of windows looking out onto SweetGrass Lake. Rough sawn timber used throughout the house makes for the perfect mountain getaway feel. Sunsets are truly magnificent! The main level master bedroom is so cozy with it's own fireplace, spa-like bathroom and walk out screened porch. There are two large bedrooms (one king bedroom and one queen, queen bedroom) and 2 full bathrooms on the second floor. The second-floor loft/game area is perfect to keep everyone entertained. Choose from shuffle board, foosball, or challenge the family to chess/checkers at the lovely game table. This loft area is also perfect for watching your favorite movies or sporting events on the large TV screen. If you have to work while in the mountains, this home has a main floor office with a spacious desk to set up your computer. This room can also double as a 4th bedroom as it has a twin day bed with pop up second twin bed. This home is professionally decorated in rustic mountain colors that will have you relaxed in no time. The furnishings are a lovely mix of new pieces combined with many fun antique treasures we've accumulated along the way. The back porch offers a lovely view of Grandfather Mountain where you can grill out or enjoy a beverage in the spacious hot tub. Roast marshmallows and share family memories around the rustic outdoor firepit. Fish or canoe off the home's private dock. Canoe is stored under the back deck. We love this neighborhood because it's so scenic and also flat which is perfect for walking or biking. In the winter months, our home is much more accessible than many other properties because there are no steep access roads. For the skiing crowd, this home is a 15-30 minute drive to 3 of the popular area ski resorts. This property will be the 5th time we've listed a home on VRBO. Over the years, we have sold them and currently now just have two listings. We are a preferred partner with 5-star reviews and many repeat guests.
