We had an amazing time at Excellence resort - they have various activities, amenities & events on site that you can participate in.  However, there are very limited options for vegetarian esp if you think about your protein intake, there is hardly anything. You will be eating a lot of bread & cheese & fruits, nothing healthy enough like a balanced meal. Food was all quite oily in general. I recommend don’t focus on the food, just enjoy the vibe & everything else & you won’t be disappointed.  Excellence Punta Cana has some amazing restaurants inside their campus & highly recommend Agave (Mexican cuisine) & The Grill. Our least favourite was Chez Isabel - the French restaurant - extremely gimmicky & absolutely bad quality as far as vegetarian food. Both myself & my hubby got a bad case of food poisoning that night & were not able to enjoy the other activities the next day.  Somethings that are commendable & really stood out:  Cocktails - Excellence has by far the best of the best cocktails & bars! Their drinks are creative & everyone can find something they enjoy. Shoutout to their famous Coco locos! Special mention - Senor Diaz at the Prelude bar for a memorable experience!  Activities - really fun activities at the resort - bag painting, aqua trampoline, aqua bike, ping pong tournament, bingo, karaoke, poker, silent disco & so many more!!!!  Amenities - they have a wide array of amenities - gym, darts, tennis, archery, volleyball (pool & beach), board games for everyone to enjoy based on their preferences.  Staff - the people here are really colourful & truly caring as well. They genuinely want to help you & make your experience as memorable as possible! Special mention to Christina Valdez at the front desk for making our experience top notch! We were celebrating our honeymoon & Christina went above & beyond to make sure we have a great time.  Thank you so much Excellence Punta Cana!!!

We were hosted at the hotel Bakour and our experience was absolutely exceptional. Since we arrived, the staff made us feel like at home. The attention was of high quality, familiar and extremely careful. They were always ready to help us with whatever we needed. The reception was particularly highly high thanks to Kimberly's friendlyness and efficiency, who greeted us every day and kept us informed about the activities of the hotel. Your personalized attention and your willingness to help us at any time were essential for our stay. But what really loved us was the staff's attitude in general. From Manuel, the tours seller who became a friend and made us several gifts without commit, even the bar and buffet boys, such as Jazmín and Joan, who were always attentive and kind. Even Junior, who worked at night, was extremely social and made us feel part of the family. We were very happy to have a nice and comfortable room, and we were very happy to have a nice room. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. In short, the hotel is worth the 5-stars with a great deal of cressing, staff is very careful and carefully concerned about the guests' experience. If you are looking for a place where you feel like at home and be treated as part of the family, this is the perfect hotel for you.

This trip was amazing. The resort was beautiful and easy to navigate. The rooms are quite large and the location is isolated and quiet. The beach is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful. The staff were all really friendly and the service was generally great. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which was great! All the events were really enjoyable and overall it was a really relaxing and memorable vacation! Shout out to the activities director Miki for making our stay extra special!

My first all inclusive experience and it was beyond my expectation. I had a swim out room and was part of the preferred club, with a personal butler and food concierge to cater for halal food. The resort was beautiful with many pools, a serene beach and a lazy river! So many restaurants to choose from plus a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I spent the entire time at the resort with no need for any excursions. There were nightly entertainment, unlimited snacks and drinks [non-alcoholic for me] and twice daily house keeping. Overall, I would stay again for the food [taste, variety and service], amenities [lazy river!] and hospitality [friendly staff].  PS: You will also have access to all amenities of BREATHLESS, the adults only side.

The resort itself was beautiful but there were pros and cons. More cons than I wanted. Pool closed at 6 pm so no night swimming which left little to do in the evenings. Drinks were weak, drank all day long with no effect. Food was the worst. The buffet was terrible and was really our only option since the snack bar ran out of burgers, basically lived on chips and salsa the entire trip. The restaurants which you needed to make reservations for was a joke. The reservation app didn’t work so you had to wake am up at 6 am to stand in line until 8 am in hopes of getting a reservation. The service was not pleasant. Workers badly made eye contact with you and you always felt like you were bothering them when requesting a beverage or asking a question. The resort has potential if they stopped it up on service, food, drinks and entertainment.

This was our first time in Dominicana and we chose this hotel because our tour operator said it was new and we actually liked the pics (they are real by the way, not like in the majority of the hotels where they post only the best to attract guests). First thing that impressed us was that all staff was wearing masks at all times everywhere: inside and outside! No matter if they were showing sport exercises, cleaning or dancing in the lobby in the evening, they were always in masks! Then sanitizers everywhere . Temperature control at the entrance to the hotel and to all restaurants. The staff also makes sure you are wearing a mask and gloves when picking food. Everyone was polite helping and smiling all the time. I will name only some people here just because I didn't take photos of all names, so sorry if I didn't name you. All receptionists were ready to help and solve any problem you have. Bieavenido (thanks for late night talk, now I know when is the Independence day in Dominicana!😊). All our requests were satisfied within 5-15minutes (not Dominican minutes👆🤣). Guys at the restaurant all who were welcoming, thank you for giving us masks and gloves when we were too overwhelmed with holiday activities and forgot to get them🙈. Thank you for always wishing us good morning, nice day and smiling! Guys who take orders inside the restaurants and my Spanish teachers😅 Ramon, Antonio, Wilsoooooon Rincon, muchos gracias! They always ask you how you are, remember your orders and bring them before you think about it. Mariia Soriano and Andy from lobby bar- the smiliest girl and boy ever! Also, the cooking show in Asian restaurant is worth seeing! The food is amazing and the products are high quality. We are more than happy with our rest!

Our room can occupy 5 persons which is good. Furnitures and amenities is nice. Only thing I can comment is the AC. It was 20C and I feel its not cool enough and can barely make the room cool. I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Other than that i like the resort and the food. Add up some activities for the night like party and cool music please.

Because I paid through a third party i was not allowed to amend my reservation and I end up stuck with all of the additional cost and the staff refuse to adjust my reservation. I paid for 4 people all inclusive from Thursday to Sunday. I had to book another hotel for sun to Monday. The hotel refuse to reimburse me for the other room and the additional people who could not makes the trip because they were in the hospital. Just sad...

This was an excellent stay. It’s not near the downtown area nor walkable outside resort. You’ll need transportation to leave the resort. We were a couple and it was very nice even though it wasn’t adults only. There was alot of live entertainment at night to keep you busy. We didn’t need to leave the resort and was just fine walking to the beach and going to the pool area. The food was just great. I ate a lot but it seemed more healthy than food in US. I loved the assor**ent of fruits and vegetables. We did a spa trea**ent as well. The entertainment was well planned and set up so that there is something different every night. I have no complaints. Next time we come we’ll try an adults only resort.

The hotel does not look like the pictures. When I got yo my room, on the first night my room smelled of urine, as if person who was belied me peed and the hotel doesn’t clean it. It was unbearable, I had to ask reception to come and sort it out because I wasnt going to be able to sleep with that smell. The housekeeper came and she swiped the floor and it was much better. The toilet handle was broken despite the water flushing. The room smelled out humidity. Not very sure of they changed the sheets needles I got there or even after. The food was all artificial food, nothing organic. All drinks were from those sachets. Even the sprite tasted different :/ On NYE the food was much better, there were good choices, but still artificial. Overall, it wasn’t that bad, a lot of people seemed to be okay with it. I am very picky so I notice everything.

The majestic elegance is beautiful!!! Very clean, rooms are very nice. The average rating was because we paid extra for “Elegance club” adult only. This was our 29th anniversary and we wanted it to be kid free. We searched for a hotel that had adult only amenities. When we showed up at the hotel they told us those rooms were sold out in the adult only section. That was disappointing since we paid for that section. We were still able to use the amenities but they were two buildings away. We booked months in advance so that was disappointing. They did give us a voucher for $200.00. To be used towards a $360.00 massage. But we would have loved the room in adult only section instead. The drinks were great! The food average. Entertainment average. The staff-some were great but I would say around 90% don’t even acknowledge you with even a hello. Overall though the place is beautiful! The pools are well maintained and had a great vacation overall.

Overall, the trip was okay I was hoping for a bit more, especially since it was a special occasion. My room was absolutely beautiful and definitely one of the highlights. However, the food was a bit disappointing at times; many dishes lacked flavour, which was a letdown. That said, I made the most of it and focused on celebrating. Even if everything wasn’t perfect, I’m still grateful for the experience.

I felt like I was in paradise!! I enjoyed my stay so so much. I didn’t even want to leave. The food was amazing (only tried Food market, beach house and the sports bar for food) I didn’t even feel like trying the restaurants because Foodmarket was that good in my opinion. There were free drinks all days and nights, and A LOT of entertainments. I met new friends because of the entertainments. It was right on the beach. The only things I had a little issue with was the beds. I really don’t like to sleep with just a sheet and there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room so I was eaten up every morning. And if you need to buy a lotion and a new sunblock you need to pay 90 USD for that and that I feel is a big scam (pricing for everything that’s not included are extremely expensive!!)

Our stay at Breathless was incredible; the room was great, the food was delicious, but the whole experience was taken over the top by our VIP concierge, Pablo. We have stayed in many top-rated hotels and resorts all around the world, but we have never felt so safe and comforted as we did at Breathless. We received a text message from our VIP every day about what activities would happen on the property and when. We were also told many times if we had any problems to let him know or if we were looking to have any experiences or see any shows. He was able to connect the dots with everything. We felt like celebrities and because of it we had an amazing trip.

The hotel service is very nice, which is what you want for a vacation. On the first day, I had a double spa to relax. On the second day, I participated in the hotel's outing activities, including slides, off-road vehicles, milking, etc., which was very fun. Hotel guests enjoy VIP treatment and do not have to queue. On the third day, I went to the sea to swim and had a lot of fun eating and drinking. Breakfast and lunch are average, but dinner is much better. There is also 24-hour room service. There is no queue at the Excellence Member Restaurant. Overall, I am satisfied and had a pleasant spring break.

Went to Bahia because we had a moderately nice experience in Mexico. This one was a very uncomfortable one for us mainly because of the people and the food. We felt hunger many times in this ”all-inclusive” hotel. The restaurants serve mediocre food, in small quantities, with least authenticity and does not invoke any feeling on consumption. We ate at the restaurant and then also to the buffet to feel a bit full, but the buffet equally lacks real food with low quality vegetables & fruits and just badly made food that looks un-appetising as well. If you're someone who loads up of meat and alcohol, this place might be for you. Sadly not for us, and at the end of our 5 day stay, we felt very depressed, glad to leave and our taste-buds were dead. The rooms were large and clean, some parts were dated and the bathroom did not have a door to shield from the AC, which was weird. My stay was overall great, the room looked good and comfortably accommodated 3 persons with the bed, sofa bed area, the nice kitchen with a big fridge and appliances, and the bathroom was big and looked great. The staff were great and very accommodating, very friendly and helpful in every way. My only complaint would be the lack of insect control. I believe it’s due to the high door that insects can easily crawl under and get inside. Numerous small insects, mosquitoes and even a small lizard at one point were found in the room (compliments to the male front desk worker who came and tried helping to remove the lizard that night). Also cobwebs and dust (minimal) in the ceiling and on the surfaces of high appliances respectively. Seems as though the room I got hadn’t been used in awhile. But overall a wonderful stay.

Your personalized attention and your willingness to help us at any time were essential for our stay. But what really loved us was the staff's attitude in general. From Manuel, the tours seller who became a friend and made us several gifts without commit, even the bar and buffet boys, such as Jazmín and Joan, who were always attentive and kind. Even Junior, who worked at night, was extremely social and made us feel part of the family. We were very happy to have a nice and comfortable room, and we were very happy to have a nice room.
