This hotel have terrible employees especially supervisor not even friendly very rude disrespectful we had problems with our reservation because for somehow the third party did not inform the hotel that we had 2 kids so the supervisor of the hotel that night called Carlos refused to let us check in if we do not pay them kids as adults as it was as triple price that we paid so we had to go checked in to another hotel for them to find out with their reservation teams due to the fact that we came late so the next day this same supervisor and other staff did not even apologise and talk to us as we are nobody so disappointed and disrespectful not even try to give us discount or accommodate us
Very very bad place even though the decor as stunning
Food was not good as had an allergic reaction after eating something which I never ever had allergies in my life

The resort itself was beautiful but there were pros and cons. More cons than I wanted. Pool closed at 6 pm so no night swimming which left little to do in the evenings. Drinks were weak, drank all day long with no effect. Food was the worst. The buffet was terrible and was really our only option since the snack bar ran out of burgers, basically lived on chips and salsa the entire trip. The restaurants which you needed to make reservations for was a joke. The reservation app didn’t work so you had to wake am up at 6 am to stand in line until 8 am in hopes of getting a reservation. The service was not pleasant. Workers badly made eye contact with you and you always felt like you were bothering them when requesting a beverage or asking a question. The resort has potential if they stopped it up on service, food, drinks and entertainment.

Buffet - service is HORRIBLE. It is nearly impossible to get a drink. One night, we asked 5 times and ended up eating our entire meal without a drink. They are not attentive at all. This was a nightly issue experienced by many guests.
Entertainment team - exceptional! Very strong, engaging and interactive. This team is the reason we would return.

Only 2 main concerns I had for the resort during our stay:
1. The rooms are in desperate need of cleaning most importantly the floors. There was hair everywhere almost like it wasn't swept/mopped/vacuumed.
2. Better communication on what level is allowed what amenities. I thought we were the highest being Privileged but we were not, and we couldn't use the El Beso restaurant which was odd to us.

This was actually the worst place i’ve ever stayed in my life. They promised me transportation and left me stranded at the airport then when i got here i had staff laugh in my face throughout the week and deny me service because i wasn’t a part of the “privileged” group. when i went to the 24 hr guest service they ignored me for days and refused to give me the service that was included in my stay. i was under the impression this was adults only and children were running around and screaming in my face everyday at the pool and beach. the food made me sick and i honestly only ate simply because i had no other option. i will never come back here and i will tell everyone i know how disrespected and disgusted i felt at this resort.

Do not pay extra for the hot tub suite. The hot tub has to be filled each use, it’s only as hot as what comes out of the tap, and it’s very shallow. It’s just a glorified bath tub. I really regret not getting the poolside room instead.
Also the service was subpar. We waited 2 hours for room service that we were told would only take 45 minutes. Also we had patching kits that came with our pool floats we brought, and when one of our floats got a hole we went to use them and we discovered housekeeping had thrown them away. When we ask for Diet Pepsi at breakfast, some of the servers just flat out say no, but others will get it for us. Also today on our last day, the lifeguard in charge of the floats for the lazy river was a half hour late.
The lazy river is wonderful, though.

Pros: very clean, huge resort, great waterpark and lazy river, beautiful rooms, overall absolutely beautiful resort
Cons: food is not good, only 1 buffet which closes at 10:30 so if you get hungry later in the night too bad, you need to wake up at 8:00 to make reservations for restaurants, only 1 towel station in such a huge resort, beach is abit rocky in some areas, drinks are very watered down, 1 store which cost an arm and a leg, we spend over $200 on a simple shirt for my husband and swimwear for myself.
