The hotel is very close to the train station and the city center. It was convenient to walk to both. A free glass of wine is included with checkin. The bed and the room were very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in a private double room on the 3rd floor. When we first arrived the lack of public reception confused us as the door was locked. Upon phoning the number on the door we were happily greeted & shown our rooms. We booked through booking.com and as advised we had to pay a cash city tax. There were many bathrooms located on the 3rd floor. We never had to wait & were very well maintained. There was a communal kitchen on the floor also. Amazing location for all bars restaurants & public transport from the airport, highly recommend

The hotel location is very good, 5 minutes walk from the old town, the breakfast is rich, the variety is great, the service staff is very good! Everyone is smiling with service. The hotel rooms are quite large, and the sanitary environment is very good. There are many sofas in the business district, which is good for guests to visit and chat. Computer printers can be provided for free. The front desk staff is attentive and enthusiastic, and will help you to handle tripartite services such as calling. By the way, a young girl at the front desk is very beautiful. Although her height is not very high, her complexion is very good. She is the most beautiful Slavs I have ever seen. Finally the overall feeling of the hotel is great!

The front desk service was very good. I also took the initiative to pour a glass of local Slovakian white wine. The iced taste is sweet and refreshing. There are a lot of small biscuits and juices and fruits in the lobby that you can enjoy for free at any time. Two heart-shaped chocolates are placed on the quilt in the room. It is very warm and thoughtful. Breakfast is not bad. Good sanitary conditions and spare parts are the most I have ever seen in Europe. The location is a bit far from the old town, but Bratislava is not too big and can be reached within 15 minutes on foot. In terms of its price, the overall value, the next time you come to Bratislava will book this hotel (.◝ᴗ◜.)

Lovely comfortable room with seperate toilet and bathroom. Air conditioner provided which was great as it was extremely warm during our stay. My request for a quiet room was met as our room did not face the busy main road. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant in the basement with a good selection of (mainly cold) items. Limited hot breakfast items - fried eggs and sausage at the weekend with the addition of omelettes and mushrooms on the Monday of our stay. The hotel is a short walk from the main train station and about a 30 minute stroll to the old town with all the shops and restaurants etc. We ate dinner one night in the hotel which was very good. Reasonable selection on the menu. The hotel has a car park with free parking. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Like: 1. The front desk, the catering service is warm 2. The room has free coffee 3 The breakfast is very rich, not repeated (lived 2 nights), in line with the star hotel production standards. 4 personality service is very in place, public areas have Warm greetings, the name of the guest staying in the room TV series. 5. Convenient transportation, the airport comes out to take the 61 road to the end; take the 21 road to the bus bus station, you can go to Vienna and other places. There is a Vietnamese restaurant next to the 6.21 road station, which is small, cheap and delicious. 7. The elevator has a door card system and is safe. Inadequacies: 1. Fat female chef uniform 邋遢, directly to the restaurant pour coffee 2 restaurant and kitchen staff used to kick the kitchen door 3 do not pick up dirty dishes in time, 4 bathroom is very slow. These do not affect accommodation, just The operation is not standardized. Overall satisfaction

I booked a room at the hotel from airbnb. cost was around 50euro+ , but not 60 euro. We were four people. In these rooms, you can sleep 4 people. there is only one double bed, but the sofa is a "schlafsofa", where 2 more people can sleep we reached Bratislava from vienna at around 11pm. Reception was closed, but the lady from reception gave me every instructiuon I needed. starting from guiding me to the hotel till instructing me on how to open the lockbox and retrieve my key. she also helped us with parking instructions. the rooms are very good.... i liked it so much.... even at 11:30pm, a lady came for room service and provided us with extra blankets and pillows and all. the location is very good. tight near the Old town. it's a bit far from the Bratislava castle though... but it has it's own beauty..... all the other places with historical significance are nearby. I recommend it without any hesitation and obviously will go back again if I visit Bratislava ever again. checkout time was probably 10 am, or 11, i forgot.

Arriving at the hostel just a short walk from the bus station I was a little weary as I turned down a alley towards. Block of flats, as I walked up I saw the hostel to the left and first thoughts was “uninviting”. I walked in and things started to improve as I was greeted at the reception I was handed a towel, bed linen, a free drink token and hostel information, handed my key and told where to go. I headed up to my room each for has 3 showers and 3 toilets a communal area and an old unused kitchen (signs ask you to use the new one downstairs). I entered my room and was immediately greeted by another guest. I made my bed and put my stuff in my locker (no padlock needed). As it was already the evening I headed down to the bar. Ordered my complimentary drink and found the smoking room. The bar area had table football and a couple of hostel reps getting everyone to join in with games and kareoke. The vibe was a very good and relaxed one. One of the reps came over introduced himself and had a conversation. I then ordered another beer at the bar (€1.70 pint) and went through to the lounge. In the lounge there were sofas, pcs, books, dvds, tv, iPhone music player & board games. The garden is open until 10pm after this time doors are closed to the garden. After 10pm it is quite time so they also close other doors in the hostel to help minimise noise. With the bar closing at midnight and free air plugs from reception the place was very nice and peaceful apart from of course the snoring from guests namely myself! The next day I ventured to the kitchen. Well I have to say it is clearly their latest refurbishment and well done! Very modern and a very good size with tables nd chairs and all the amenities you would need including, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, pots and pans, whisks the lot! On leaving the kitchen I popped my head into the laundry room to find 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers which are FREE for guests to use (soap power available at reception for €1.50 or Tesco just down the road). At just £6.30 per night this was a very enjoyable stay. Bathrooms had also been recently renovated. The rooms are however still basic bunkbeds, with no curtains or light for yourself unlike in some other hostels. If they renovate the rooms next and go down the style of the hive party hostel in Budapest then this hostel will easily be a top hostel in my book!

Right in the heart of the historical district. Beautifully designed and decorated, looking over the cobbled street. We called it the Giraffe apartment due to its decor. I can imagine in the summer it can be very noisy as it is above a night bar. However on a Sunday in mid November, we were not disturbed at all by noise. The bottle of prossecco was a lovely touch. Absolutely loved our stay.

Art William hotel is located on a pedestrianised street at the edge of the old town. It is ideally situated for to explore Bratislava. On arrival, check in was hassle free and we were allocated our room (312). The hotel itself is situated on the 2nd floor in a quiet shopping centre. Entrance to the centre could do with additional signage highlighting the hotel in there. The room was pleasant and had kettle, TV, hair dryer and a good sized bathroom. The bed is 2 single beds pulled together but very comfortable. Rooms have black out curtains and our room was quiet in its surrounds. The breakfast is just average, a mixture of hot and cold breakfast but the hot food could have been warmer and the breakfast area felt disjointed from the hotel. The biggest plus for this hotel is the great location. Staff are friendly and professional. One little note is to provide coffee to the tray in the bedroom. Hotel is close to lidl to pick up any extras and is a short walking distance to some great restaurants and pubs. We stayed for 2 nights with 4 other couples and we were all happy with our stay. Many thanks for a welcome stay in Bratislava.

We stayed for 4nights. Staff were welcoming from the moment we checked in. We found all the staff friendly and accommodating throughout the hotel. The location is ideal for the town centre and especially the historical area. The famous blue is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The area surrounding the hotel is quiet and the hotel itself has a specific quiet time policy at night. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious. Public transport is close at hand. Also the Danube is within a short walk.

Positives: The staff was extra friendly and helpful. We were there with a 1-year old and on the second day of our stay they got a baby chair in the breakfast room! Also there was a great, clean crib in the room, as we requested. The breakfast is very good, especially for the 2.5 euros. The staff was also very helpful with providing info on public transport, etc. Definetly we recommend Freddie next to Mercury! Negatives: The sink in the bathroom had some issues, but they tried to fix it, when we reported it.

Good location, on the Danube River, our family of three live in an apartment, and found a small kitchen in the room, surprise! I immediately decided not to go out to eat. I went to the supermarket and bought meat. It was very fragrant. The room supplies were very comfortable and clean. The bed was very big. The breakfast was very rich. Sitting in the restaurant, I can see the Danube and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I compared 3 nearby houses. The hotel decided that this is the most cost-effective.

I am surprised by the reviews of this "hotel" as it is really an upmarket hostel. There are no facilities here that you would expect to find in a hotel. For a start the building is not the one in the photo, it is located down the street from the building advertised. There is no lift and I was given a room on the 2nd floor under the eaves. So had to haul my case up 4 flights of quite dangerous spiral steps. There was no fire escape. The room was very clean but basic. A small desk held a kettle and coffee no tea or milk, a small TV with 2 remote controls but no instructions how to use them - clearly they needed to be synced. Had to draw the curtains as the buildings opposite could see right in. The bathroom was finished nicely but the shower was enclosed under the eaves and had no light or shelf to hold shampoo etc. And the towel hook was located over the toilet roll holder at the same level as the toilet?? The high standard of finish in the bathroom was ruined by a cheap plastic toilet seat. There is a tiny breakfast room with 2 bistro tables serving a continental breakfast for an extra 6euro. There is no bar. Free WiFi but I would expect that. It is very noisy on the street and as the room was quite airless had to keep the window open which meant interrupted sleep. The room was not cleaned on the days I was there. There is no air conditioning in the room. The receptionist was nice and helpful Whilst the place is near the old town. nicely decorated and very clean I don't believe it warrants a charge of €366 for 3 nights and no breakfast. I am surprised by some of the other reviews as this is not a hotel and perhaps other rooms were different but in my opinion this is one is a pretentious imposter.

This Apartment is in a residential location, hence one is assured of peace and quiet. The leafy neighbourhood is perfect for a quiet vacation, whilst being just about 15-20 minutes away from the old town and the important sights of Bratislava. The apartment was large and spacious. The living cum dining room was large, with a very effective Aircon that cooled the room in minutes even during the sweltering summer. Lighting was bright and effective and the room had large storage cabinets. The large balcony adjoining the living rom, opened into the street. The kitchen had all necessary cooking utensils and a large dining table. The apartment had two bedrooms which were spacious, with comfortable beds, good lighting, effective air-conditioning and cupboards with more than adequate storage space. Besides, the apartment had a separate storage room. The apartment had a standalone WC room (with a washing machine) and a separate bathroom with a shower and a tub. The only concern we had was spillage of water from the shower - a shower curtain is the obvious solution! The housekeeping was good and when we called for help regarding usage of the waning machine, there was someone instantaneously at our doorstep. Wi fi was good. We enjoyed our stay at Smart & Green Living, Ambiente and will surely return.

We stayed at this hotel with friends in order to visit the christmas markets and also visited Vienna whilst there as it was a short train journey away. The hotel was really lovely and in a way cosy. The bedroom was very clean and had a lovely shower with powerful jets and had a comfortable bed too. The breakfast on the first morning was very nice and also plentiful however sadly on the second day it had run out of quite a few things when we arrived at breakfast and there was only one guy serving breakfast as well as trying to cover reception - we felt very sorry for him but it was a little frustrating that things had not been replenished and this is why we had given it 4 stars instead of 5. We did use the swimming pool and sauna and that was very nice too. I would recommend this hotel to others even though it is quite a walk into the centre, I would say it was worth it. They need to employ more staff to help out especially in the mornings when it is busy at breakfast and on reception - one person is not enough.

I had a great time in this hostel. First of all the staff was always friendly and helpfull and they had very good tipps for things to do in Bratislava and where to eat and drink. Originally planned to stay for only 2 nights, but there were so many nice and interesting people from around the globe that I decided to stay a whole week there. But you also got your free space and you can totally chill out there, especially during daytime. Everyday the whole hostel got cleaned, they had free towels and you can also cook and wash your laundry. I definitely reccomend to stay there, everything is just fine there and if you want to go out to the city, you definitely just have to step out the frontdoor, it’s very central. It was worth it and I had a great time there!

Located on the Danube River, it is slightly opposite to other hotels, but it takes only 15 minutes to walk to the UFO Bridge and 20 minutes to the old town. From the door to do the tools, about half an hour to the train station, it is relatively convenient. The hotel is a standard 5 star configuration, there are not too many special and no obvious deficiencies. The breakfast is relatively rich and the taste is not bad.
