The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to the airport and within walking distance of downtown. The front desk staff were also very helpful. The room felt a little dark, and I wish there was more space to store luggage. However, we could clearly hear the conversations from the next room, so I'm sure our voices were also audible. It was a shame that the souvenir shop was closed during our stay.

Located between the airport and the city center, it's not very convenient to go out without a taxi if you're not driving. However, there are fast food restaurants and a movie theater nearby, which is convenient. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice and quickly resolved any issues we had. They also have lemonade dispensers on the first floor, which is a nice touch. Overall, the environment is pleasant, and the staff are excellent.

I read the comments before that there are homeless people who are afraid of insecurity and don't need to worry at all. The elevators can only be used with the room card. Since I'm not good at speaking English, I made inquiries by email, but there was hardly any response, which was frustrating. There was a Walmart within walking distance, so the location was convenient. For breakfast, the freshly baked waffles were delicious, but it was disappointing that there were no vegetables. The free airport shuttle and the ability to store my luggage for a long time after check-in were very helpful. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Stayed in Fairbanks for a few days. Overall, North Star Place is more suitable for tourists who want to drive by themselves, cook by themselves, and need independent space, but there are several actual situations that can be referenced before check-in. First of all, the photos on Trip.com are light yellow and brighter in the overall style. It is easy to feel that the house is relatively new when you look at the photos, but you will find that the building and indoor facilities are some years old. It is not that it is not unusable, the overall maintenance is OK, it is a little different from the first impression given by the photo. If you are more concerned about the new and old degree of the hotel, it is recommended to reduce your expectations. The building has 3 floors and about 4 rooms per floor. The rooms are apartment-style accommodation, and the biggest advantage is that the living facilities are very complete. The kitchen has basically everything, pots, tableware, plates, hot water bottles, and even oil, salt, seasonings and coffee are ready. If you stay at Fairbanks for a few days, it is very convenient to go to Walmart to buy some ingredients and cook for yourself. There is a self-service laundry room on the first floor. Laundry $2, dry $2, and machine collect 25 cents (quarter). If laundry + drying once, you need to prepare 16 quarters, which is $4. It is recommended to prepare coins in advance, there is no place to change on site. Parking is simpler, just park at the door of the building. However, in fact, in the past few days of self-driving in Fairbanks, I feel that parking in most places is more convenient, so parking here is not a problem. The bed is a softer type and I personally feel quite comfortable. The heating in the room can be adjusted by myself, but it was already early October when I checked in. The actual heating was not as hot as expected. Not sure if it was the outdoor temperature, heating settings or pipes at that time. The heating in the living room felt average. The bedroom was small because of the space, so the temperature was OK. If it is a colder winter stay, it is recommended to confirm with the accommodation in advance. In addition, some people on the Internet mentioned that it is noisy here, and I think this needs to be viewed objectively. The house itself is a wooden structure, so the footsteps and walking sounds upstairs will indeed be easier to pass down. But this is actually common in Fairbanks House and apartments, and it is not exactly a problem with this accommodation. If you are very sensitive to sound, you can ask for a high-rise. If you want sound insulation like a domestic reinforced concrete house, it may be more suitable for chain hotels (concrete structures). Overall, this is not a very new hotel, and there is no sense of service in a traditional hotel, but as an apartment-style accommodation in Fairbanks, the independence is good, the kitchen is very complete, the parking is convenient, there is a self-service laundry room, and the bed is comfortable. More suitable for renting a car to Fairbanks, staying for a few days, hoping to cook and wash clothes by yourself. To have reasonable expectations for the new and old level of facilities, wooden structure sound insulation and heating in advance, the overall is still more practical.

There is no restaurant in the resort. The resort is very big. We stayed twice for the first time. Building P was just opposite the front desk. The second time Building K was far away. It was too cold and snowy. We also changed the two-bed room. There is no extra charge for the hotel room. The large kitchen has salt and pepper facilities, but there is no oil. The bathroom shower is not good. The water is small and the bed is very comfortable. The room is not warm The living room is very dry but it feels that the nose is dry and bursting. There is no humidification. There is an electric fan. The windows are blocked and can not be opened in the winter. The K building is next to the gym facing it. Walk across the small bridge on the left of the gym and turn left. The lake is a good place to watch the aurora and it is very open. In addition, the sofa in the living room has a sofa bed that can be pulled out. There is another thin blanket and a pillow but no extra sheets.

Weird hotel~ Weird 1: There are two beds at the entrance, but no tables or chairs. There is no place to put small daily necessities, so they can only be placed on the TV cabinet; people can only sit on the bed. Weird 2: The bathroom is huge but the sink is very small, which is very inconvenient to wash your face or small clothes. The water temperature of the shower is also difficult to adjust, either too hot or too cold; Weird 3: The most intolerable and incomprehensible thing is this, the WiFi blocks all Chinese websites and apps, and you can't check the bank exchange rate, can't operate mobile banking, securities accounts, and can't check your subsequent orders on Ctrip. Located between the airport and the city center, it's not very convenient to go out without a taxi if you're not driving. However, there are fast food restaurants and a movie theater nearby, which is convenient. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice and quickly resolved any issues we had. They also have lemonade dispensers on the first floor, which is a nice touch. Overall, the environment is pleasant, and the staff are excellent.

Since I'm not good at speaking English, I made inquiries by email, but there was hardly any response, which was frustrating. There was a Walmart within walking distance, so the location was convenient. For breakfast, the freshly baked waffles were delicious, but it was disappointing that there were no vegetables. The free airport shuttle and the ability to store my luggage for a long time after check-in were very helpful. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
