I wanted to cancel my trip because of the typhoon, but the shop refused to give me a refund. Ctrip staff were very helpful and assisted me several times, but I still couldn't get a refund. So I had to bite the bullet and go to the island anyway. I was surprised by how beautiful the environment was! It's a pristine, undeveloped island on Mango Island, with a blue sea and white sand beaches—absolutely gorgeous. The island owners were also very kind; everything was fine except for the geckos. I think they're common in Southeast Asian countries.From$36

WONDERFUL STAY
Our three night stay began with problems. The hotel was double booked and we couldn't be accommodated for the second night. Fortunately the owner found us an excellent resort for that night and drove us there and back.
The owner, his wife and all the staff were absolutely amazing. We've done a lot of travelling in the past year and this group of people were the friendliest by far.
On a point of cleanliness, my wife lost a diamond earring in the room. We found it but only after turning the room upside down. The room was spotless!.
As we were about to check out the owners gave us a cake for our anniversary. Great hosts and hope to see them again.SOLD OUT
