Excellent stay with the family. A little rough and lengthy check in, noisy corridors with people shouting across the halls and balconies even late at night. BESIDES the above we had a fantastic stay. Very courteous and helpful staff and teams, great housekeeping, superb breakfast. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

The hotel that is really in the city palace complex needs to use the hotel's pass card to enter and exit the gate of the palace complex. The lobby, restaurant and bar are the main building of the hotel. However, it is slightly shabby, and the corners of the old facilities have mold spots and poor sound insulation. In short, it is like a small building that was previously occupied by people. Breakfast can be ordered a la carte, and the recommended leg of lamb for dinner is delicious. It is full of butter, and it is a real candlelight dinner ~

The most comfortable area in Udaipur is undoubtedly around Lake Pichola. I chose the most beautiful hotel with lake view from the website. It arrived at 5pm. The waiter led me across the courtyard to the room. This white hotel and beautiful decoration everywhere made me overjoyed. But the bigger surprise is still behind. The roof of the hotel is a huge platform with a swimming pool, a tea table and a dining table. Looking out is a beautiful lake view, and my room is arranged on the top floor, which means that I It is very convenient to enjoy the most beautiful scenery of Udaipur.         This Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel is also transformed from Haveli. It is white and white, which highlights the characteristics of White City. Many palaces and houses in the lake are also painted white, although they are not so unified. . Against the backdrop of Yingying Bibo, the freshness and romance of Baicheng suddenly emanated.         The colors of the evening, the scenery of the lakeside, and the freshness of the hotel swept away the impression of ”dirty mess” in India for the past few days. I didn't step out of the hotel's door until check out the next day, just sitting On the cushions by the window, eating dinner and breakfast in a daze against the beautiful lake view, then wandering around in a hotel that is not too big to see the carved wooden furniture and the beautiful decorations in the niches. This trip suddenly switched to vacation mode, and the charm of Baicheng is actually in this slowly passing away time.

They are charging 20 Rs. mineral water at 100 Rs. per bottle 5 times higher than the actual price even though the MRP mentioned on the bottle is 20 Rs. only which I think is not at all justifiable. The hotel management should think about it.

We were upgraded to historical heritage suit with attractive lake facing royal sitting arrangement.common areas were befitting to a palace and the staff was highly trained. At night lobby level verandah as well as terraces just gave extraordinary view of the lake and building of the city.food was just superb.only shortcoming was that the AC was not adjusted enough for low temperature and it is a shame for such beautiful high cost hotel that we were advised to keep the fan on.

The hardware conditions are fantastic. It is a palace of ancient nobles. It can be described as luxurious and displays many ancient artifacts. Invincible lake view! It is a pity that the agent made the wrong price, the front desk asked for a fare increase, and for a long time, this is not like the behavior of a luxury hotel. You should let the guest stay and then find out the situation!

A mixed review. Staff were very helpful in arranging flowers for my wife and the location is perfect, right on the lake with a lovely view of the ghat and sunrise. But this also means that things can get noisy at night, especially during a festival. The room was tired and smelt. Shower wasn't very clean. Breakfast was okay but staff tried to insist on guests eating breakfast inside which was very strange given that there was an outside dining area with a beautiful (world class) view of sunrise. The hotel restaurant was overpriced, chaotic and very loud. Priority on tables was given to groups who didn't order food or drinks, took insta pictures and then left. At the same time, several families were turned away. Tried to order a diet coke, was told that we couldn't have one despite them being in the fridge. Kingfisher was 600 a bottle which is a 240% mark up from the wine shops. Overall, great location let down by some tired rooms and poor service.

We chose Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur specifically to celebrate our anniversary, but the experience turned out to be disappointing. Before arrival, we had written via email requesting a complimentary upgrade (only if possible) and shared that it was our anniversary. The hotel assured us that they would do their best, mentioning that they would decorate the room and arrange a cake. However, upon arrival, there was nothing prepared. Later in the evening, a staff member came and asked when we would be going out so that they could decorate the room. We adjusted our plans and gave them time, hoping it would make the occasion special for my wife and child. Unfortunately, even after that, no proper arrangement was done and there was no cake as promised in the email. The location is quite far from the main city, making it less convenient. The property also did not feel very photogenic as expected. Food quality was average with limited variety. During breakfast, the restaurant staff was largely inattentive — no one checked on us or asked if our child needed anything. The only exception was Mr. Gulshan and one female staff member who were helpful during dinner. Before this, we stayed for three days at Trident Udaipur, where the service and food quality were excellent, which made this experience feel even more disappointing in comparison. Overall, we chose Taj to make our anniversary special, but it did not meet expectations associated with the Taj brand.

On the first day, the breakfast chef asked for advice. I said that there were few dishes suitable for Chinese people. We wanted to eat some vegetables. The next morning we made vegetables for two of us; Workers repaired and kept saying sorry.        The hotel is very expensive to call a car to the airport.        The location of the hotel is very biased, there is a piece of farmland outside the gate, and you can find the TUTU by walking for ten minutes. The surroundings are dark at night.

Truly Royal Rajasthan experience at Fatehgarh. Cherished every minute of the stay, from seamless checkin to the humble and extremely hospitable staff. I'm glad I chose Fatehgarh over other 5 stars in Udaipur to celebrate my birthday. The 360 breathtaking view, the moonrise, and sunrise/sunset. There are 2 swimming pools in the property, both infinity view and extremely clean. The room size is bigger than I expected. Cherry on the cake, the sustainable practices at the property from solar powerment to the recycling of water, zero plastic usage. The vintage car collection is exquisite, and the vintage car ride is a must try experience with Mohan Singh. Special mention to Akshay and Bharath for making our stay hassle free and memorable. The food with the view of Udaipur city and candle light dinner is surreal. Kudos to Fateh Collection team for putting so much attention to detail in every corner and aspect of the resort. I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday experience.

GGuest UserWe chose Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur specifically to celebrate our anniversary, but the experience turned out to be disappointing. Before arrival, we had written via email requesting a complimentary upgrade (only if possible) and shared that it was our anniversary. The hotel assured us that they would do their best, mentioning that they would decorate the room and arrange a cake. However, upon arrival, there was nothing prepared. Later in the evening, a staff member came and asked when we would be going out so that they could decorate the room. We adjusted our plans and gave them time, hoping it would make the occasion special for my wife and child. Unfortunately, even after that, no proper arrangement was done and there was no cake as promised in the email. The location is quite far from the main city, making it less convenient. The property also did not feel very photogenic as expected. Food quality was average with limited variety. During breakfast, the restaurant staff was largely inattentive — no one checked on us or asked if our child needed anything. The only exception was Mr. Gulshan and one female staff member who were helpful during dinner. Before this, we stayed for three days at Trident Udaipur, where the service and food quality were excellent, which made this experience feel even more disappointing in comparison. Overall, we chose Taj to make our anniversary special, but it did not meet expectations associated with the Taj brand.

It was a fantastic stay. The rooms, buildings and gardens were all very clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all very kind and hospitable. It was a very satisfying stay. I'd definitely like to go again.

I recently stayed for 2 nights at the Udaipur Marriott and had a wonderful experience. The property itself feels truly luxurious and carries a touch of royal charm in every detail. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a balcony room, which made the stay even more special with beautiful views and extra comfort. The breakfast spread was outstanding – a wide variety of delicious options, fresh and perfectly prepared each morning. The only minor drawback is that the location is slightly away from the main city attractions, but given the serene atmosphere and quality of service, it was absolutely worth it. Overall, a memorable stay that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Udaipur.

DERA PICHOLA- A Lake Facing Boutique Hotel

I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. We had booked 3 rooms after looking at the images we expected a real hotel but were in for a shock once we arrived at the hotel. We had to park our car at least 2 kms outside as cars are not allowed in the old city lanes so you will need an auto every time u enter and exit the hotel. Trip to and from the parking will cost u 100. 00. We arrived at the hotel main gate via auto-rickshaw. The entrance is through a very narrow lane with houses on both sides and a gutter just outside the main gate of the hotel. You will smell the stink every time u arrive and leave as there is only this one door. Ad u enter u will encounter bikes parked on either sides, rubble, stacked pile of plywood. The reception is a single desk. They do have an elevator lift although very tiny. We had booked 2 lake facing rooms and 1 non lake facing room. As we entered the lake facing room we were shocked further with the view and the so called balcony which is approx 1. 5 ft in width and 3 ft in length n not really enough or even safe to step outside. The view gives you a glimpse of the lake pichola but is very much hindered by shacks and ruins and houses. The non lake facing room opens up to houses on either side. The rooms looked clean and so did the toilets but it lacked all basic amenities as that of a storage etc. Later on in the evening we noticed cockroaches and ticks all over the marble floor. The housekeeping was shoddy as were the rest of the services. The main doors are a security threat as they are really thin n don't really offer or give the feeling of security. The restaurant upstairs is a far cry away from the photos posted by the hotel. Firstly it stinks. There are pigeons everywhere stinking up the place. The table cloth and chairs are stained so much that it is difficult to know what color they are. The person serving did a good job though. We were really frightened to have a meal so we ended up eating outside mostly. You can see the lake view from the restaurant but again lots of ruins, houses in between. They have advertised this place with photos which make it appear like this hotel is bang on the lake and also very fancy but don't get fooled friends. It is absolutely not worth the money spent. Luckily we were sightseeing most of the time so we used this place just to shower and sleep.
