This hotel locates at a very good site with walking distance to the famous train station and shopping area. The hotel lobby is glamorous and service men are polite. Our room is quiet and has a good view to see the city at 15 floor. The size of the room is big enough for our family stay and we can freely use the space just like home. Bed sheet is clean and room size is enough for just 3 of us also with 2 toilets and shower. There is also a big kitchen with big bottle of distilled water available. This is not only a hotel room but a residence for family stay. Varieties of choices for noodle shops and coffee shops were also within walking distances, they can all be found out via Google map. You will never know all those nicely decorate coffee shops, bars and fashion shops are hid upstairs that need your exploration I will surely come again to choose this hotel.

This hotel was a fantastic find! The Guest Relations team was incredibly helpful, recommending great places to eat. The doorman at the front desk was also super friendly, even remembering our room number. The environment is lovely, and it's right in a lively neighborhood. If I ever come back to Hanoi, I'd definitely choose this hotel again! My dad actually stayed here previously and recommended it, and I can truly say my experience was excellent. The entrance is a bit hidden, but that didn't affect our stay at all; in fact, it made the place feel more peaceful and quiet.

The service staff was really nice but the amenities in the room feel a little dated for the amount of price we’ve paid for a hotel in Hanoi. However, location is the best as it’s just near the lake and the center of activities. Their rooftop bar has a very nice view overseeing the lake!

My stay at this hotel was mostly positive. The hotel was spotless, with fresh towels provided daily.  The location was perfect, offering easy access to local markets, restaurants, and tourist spots.  The staff were also incredibly accommodating and helpful. However, there was one significant drawback. I booked a double bed, but received two single beds pushed together.  One of the beds was quite uncomfortable; it felt like I was sinking into it.  This significantly impacted my sleep quality.  Despite this issue, the other aspects of the hotel made it a decent stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aira. This is a great boutique hotel. The staff are friendly, the rooms are beautiful and the location is great. Although the rooms were not large, this did not pose a problem for us as we were out most of the day. We still managed to fit us and a cot into the room. Hanoi Paon Hotel & Spa is fine overall. It’s worth staying here if you get a good price, but it doesn’t really feel worth it at a higher rate. The breakfast is nice with a good selection and was one of the better parts of the stay. The view, especially from higher floors or the rooftop, is pleasant and adds to the experience. The hotel is comfortable enough and well located in the Old Quarter, but nothing particularly stands out. Overall, a decent option if the price is right, otherwise there are better choices in Hanoi for the money.

I stayed at Oriental Suites Hotel & Spa in Hanoi and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent – right in the middle of the Old Quarter, which makes it perfect for shopping, eating, and experiencing the nightlife. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was that my room didn’t have any windows, which made it feel a bit enclosed. That said, everything else was great, and for the location and service, it’s still a fantastic choice.

Location is great. It's smaller than I thought, but it's a nice hotel with a doorman. I can't speak Japanese. English or Vietnamese. The room is clean and has everything you need. The rooftop pool is small but perfect for cooling down a hot body. Bar was not popular. Good view. Breakfast was delicious, but it was a pity that the pho was sold out. The soundproofing of the room is very good and sleeps well. The room does not have a USB charging port, wifi is very good, the electrical socket is slightly less, although it is in the alley, it is still a vegetable market, the road is relatively poor, there are fewer choices for early, coffee, black tea, milk, fruits, etc., there are freshly cooked hot foods, noodles, fried eggs, sandwiches, etc. This price is worth it, there are snacks on the street, very lively.

We had a very solid and comfortable stay at the San Premium Hotel, which is perfectly situated right in the heart of the Old Quarter. The location is incredibly convenient, with everything you could possibly need located just a short walk away. The absolute highlight of our experience, however, was the impeccable service. The staff is extraordinarily courteous, welcoming, and proactive. Their English proficiency is excellent, which made communication seamless. When I approached them with several non-standard requests, they handled them with high-level professionalism and genuine politeness, and they were always quick to assist with our luggage. The accommodation itself was highly satisfying. We stayed in a spacious room that featured a wonderfully large terrace. The bathroom was well-appointed and in great condition. Most importantly, the level of cleanliness throughout the room was flawless. The bed and pillows provided a very comfortable night's sleep, and I specifically appreciated the use of proper fitted sheets - a crucial detail for comfort that many hotels surprisingly overlook. It is exactly this kind of attention to basic hospitality standards that makes a property reliable. The only notable area for improvement is the breakfast. The morning buffet was quite monotonous and the food lacked flavor, so I cannot say I was impressed by it. However, if you are only staying for a couple of days, it is completely tolerable, especially considering the abundance of excellent dining options right outside the hotel doors. Overall, the exceptional staff, meticulous room cleanliness, and prime location easily make up for the mediocre breakfast. This is a highly reliable hotel that delivers on the most important aspects of hospitality.

We were probably so tired that we fell asleep quickly each night anyway. The only issue we encountered was a clogged toilet, but maintenance responded promptly and resolved it right away. Rephrase nicely and polite please: the overall experience was good (close to the mart - reasonable price, pickball, tennis/table tennis/pool 8 balls/ and swimming on site) until s male receptionist named Hieu decided to go above and beyond to tell us that he needed to check the room. It was around 12ish. We showed him the booking via trip.com. it stated thay we have until 2pm to check out. He refused to accept it. I asked if i could speak to a manager, this big ego guy was adamant thay it will still be the same outcome and threatened if we dont check out now there will be additional fee cherged for late checkout. We went to see a manager and she confirmed indeed it was 2pm. His ego crashed and hid inside another room to get away from embarrassment. Then at 1.40pm we recieved a call from trip.com telling us that the hotel rang them to remind us to check out. We told trip.com that it was your plateform thay stated 2pm. This is well within the allowable time frame. We even told them the hotel manager confirmed it was 2pm check out. Why they simply take instructions from a guy named hieu seeking his little revenge without checking the facts. I was wondering about his motivation and why he picked on us...and how did he know we were to check out today..only a few reasons i could come up with and money is probably one of them. There was no apology or nothing but a cold look exchange. Here’s a more polished and polite version of your message while still keeping your point clear: Overall, our stay was pleasant. The location is convenient (close to the mart), the price is reasonable, and we appreciated the range of on-site facilities such as pickleball, tennis, table tennis, pool, and swimming. However, our experience was unfortunately affected by an incident with a male receptionist named Hieu. At around 12:00 pm, he approached us insisting that we check out so he could inspect the room. We showed him our booking confirmation via Trip.com, which clearly stated that our check-out time was 2:00 pm. Despite this, he refused to acknowledge it. When I politely asked to speak with a manager, he insisted that the outcome would not change and warned that we would be charged an additional fee if we did not check out immediately. We then spoke directly with the manager, who confirmed that our check-out time was indeed 2:00 pm. Later, at around 1:40 pm, we received a call from Trip.com informing us that the hotel had contacted them to remind us to check out. We clarified that our booking clearly allowed check-out until 2:00 pm and that this had already been confirmed by the hotel manager. It was disappointing that this follow-up occurred without verifying the situation properly. The situation left us feeling uncomfortable, particularly as there was no apology or clarification afterward—only a rather cold interaction. While the facilities and overall stay were enjoyable, this experience with staff communication and handling of the situation was disappointing. We were pleased with the rest of our interactions with other staff there. Thank you for your warm and welcoming service.

The pool is a bit cold for this weather. The breakfast restaurant is a little small, but the breakfast quality is quite good. You can borrow bicycles for free, and there are a few roads nearby with less traffic that are suitable for cycling. There are quite a few unfinished buildings around West Lake. It was a bit difficult to get a taxi on the morning of Chinese New Year's Day, probably because everyone was visiting relatives ^_^ A small suggestion: it would be great if there were some instructions for the kitchen appliances. We spent a long time trying to figure out how to turn on the range hood, and a staff member eventually had to help us. It also took a while to figure out how to use the induction cooktop. This hotel's location is a bit like Shenyang's Xita, but it's next to the new municipal government building (a Korean-dominated area, quite far from the main attractions, about a 35-40 minute taxi ride to the core area of Hoan Kiem Lake). Most guests here are Korean. The only person I met at the hotel who could speak a bit of Chinese was the Korean front desk staff during check-out. There aren't many attractions nearby, just what seems to be a Vietnamese Military History Museum about the Vietnam War against the Americans. Be aware that the elevators are incredibly slow; the lobby is on the 62nd floor. Sometimes, I'd want to go down to the supermarket, but the snail-paced elevators would completely put me off. The 5-star rating for service goes to Trip.com, as they were very responsible in handling various issues. So, if you're just here for tourism, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're on a business trip for a Korean company. For tourism, staying around Hoan Kiem Lake is much more convenient.

However they need to improve in service, there are few receptionists aren’t polite and seems lost when I ask them questions . When I check in, there’s only a lady to welcome me and I have to carry the luggages on my own to the room, zero service provided. And at first there are issue with the stove and the tv , I called the receptionist for help but I waited more than 30mins still no one came. I wonder if this is due to not near city centre so the service is not as good (?) The breakfast is so-so, not ALOT of choice But one good thing is they got free shuttle but the time slot is kinda weird and very rare. However it might not be super convenient if you are going to explore hanoi , if you take grab everywhere is not a concern , also kinda close to big supermarket and 30mins drive to airport !

A great hotel for the price! We checked in and checked out ourselves. A few details: we arrived at night. The area looked a bit scary, and the taxi driver strongly advised us not to get out there. However, we took the risk and didn't regret it: the hotel inside looks clean and tidy, everything is very new. The rooms are quiet. The air conditioning works perfectly. In the morning, it turned out the alley wasn't so scary after all. The people living nearby are welcoming and nice, and the alley itself is old but clean. One thing is that taxis can't drive right up to the hotel entrance. Below is a photo of the address where we called a taxi. It's about 200-300 meters from the hotel (you can call a car another 150 meters closer, but this was more convenient for us).

It was very clean, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and the air conditioning was strong, compensating for any heat transfer through the outer window (though do remember to draw the blackout blinds!). There's a hot spring terrace on the same floor as the room, which was comfortable except for some noise during morning cleaning. The breakfast restaurant is on the 10th floor, connecting two buildings. It's compact, and you can enjoy city views through the window while you eat. The dishes are exquisite; the pho was good, and the fruit was very fresh. I want to give special praise to the service. Whether at the front desk or in the restaurant, I received warm care and prompt responses. They were very proactive in offering help and also actively sought feedback. For practicing listening and speaking skills, it's an excellent choice. Before departure, the front desk staff thoughtfully escorted me to my ride-sharing car, helped with my luggage, and even opened and closed the car door for me. Their politeness and attentiveness were truly heartwarming. Just like its name, Aurora, you don't need to chase it; it's that brilliant spectacle that surrounds and captivates you.

The place was slightly far but u can get grab to the old quarter easily. The room are quiet at night where u can rest well unless other busier place which are rather crowded and noisy. The room is equipped with basic shower products. The aircon at night are rather cold and it would be better if there’s thicker blanket. Thumbs up for the Netflix service and cooking utensils. A great place to stay but to take note of check in time as we arrived early and the lockers were full despite allowing us to store luggag

Edit after 5 days: really good ULTRA BUDGET hotel if you don’t mind a not so comfortable bed and possibly other creature comforts (if you’re looking for a proper hotel experience, LOOK ELSEWHERE). The outside of the hotel can be very dirty at times especially after raining but that comes with the amazing location I thought beds are usually this uncomfortable until I stayed at other hotels. Barely good enough to sleep if you’re used to comfortable beds. Has an issue with the remote after 2 days and they simply couldn’t fix it. So if you encounter issues, you might be on your own. That’s not to say that staff isn’t helpful. You’re just getting what you pay for Location is so perfect that I didn’t even bother with grab at all for most of Hanoi city attractions. It’s especially good on weekends when the major roads around the lake are closed for pedestrian. Receptionist was super accommodating and generous temporarily upgrading my “viewless” room which they totally don’t have to

Consigliato a chi ama i soggiorni semplici, silenziosi e sinceri.

The location of the hotel is the best. Its super close to the old quarter so you can easily find good food. The problem is in terms of cleanliness. The curtains are dirty and the ac has a very dark filter probably due to dust. I came in early so I understand why I didnt get to check in early but some Chinese tourists came in after me and they checked in immediately. I left my luggage and went around the city. I came back around 3 pm and the front desk helped me with my baggage. I thought that was really nice of them to do. The bed was comfortable. It could get loud in the morning because its in a busy area but if you will go out anyway, thats fine. Overall, the hotel fee is cheap so you get what you pay for but the location is good and convenient for travelers. Staff members are also nice.

Fantastic location to explore Hanoi’s famous train street and old town and local surrounding area from fruit stores to busy streets unfortunately didn’t get pictures of the room but they were very clean and spacious. Excellent customer service when helping us with grab taxis and locating a missing item we had left in a grab! Highly recommend for their service. Easy to get a trip to ha long bay from this hotel .

I stayed here for a few days on a business trip to Hanoi. The hotel is located right across from Hanoi Old Railway Station, so it's quite noisy, and there's also a construction project nearby, which contributes to a lot of noise and dust outside the hotel. The interior environment and hygiene are decent, comparable to budget hotels in China. The hotel's decor is quite interesting, deliberately incorporating some train elements, and the facilities are very new, giving the impression it hasn't been open for too long. Breakfast is average, they have pho, which is enough to fill you up. Service is acceptable, with daily housekeeping. It seems the hotel hosts many tour groups, as the hallways can be quite noisy at times. Overall, I think it's pretty good, and I'd consider staying here again in the future.
