The location is half an hour's drive from SD. If you are a nearby resident, it would be more suitable for a vacation. The hotel facilities are relatively new, but there are few surrounding supporting facilities. It is suitable for lounging in the hotel. The beach and other entertainment facilities are also average. This is the only hotel in the United States that can It's alila if you're bringing children. It's not recommended to bring children. There's not much to do.

The room is very comfortable, the furniture feels thick and soft, the view of the room design can be seen on either side of the bay, and it is beach surfing.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is definitely a summer resort in summer. There is no hotel private beach at all. Don't even think about it except to see a small bay or beach. The price is not cheap, nearly 500 dollars a night, the hotel only provides a few pool bubbles. There is a golf course, and the hotel staff is absolutely top-notch service, which is commendable.

The hotel is large and beautiful. The lobby is luxurious and the front desk clerk is very good. The pool is great! I really like this hotel. I will stay here next time.

Cape Ret is located right off the 101, close to the on/off ramp to the i5. Great lobby. Staff was absolutely welcoming. Room was on the 1st floor, facing the ocean. It was a walk to get to room. All the way past a few halls and turns the second to last room... was ours! Room is spacious. The bathroom was also quite big. The scented oils in the bathroom was very welcoming. There was a balcony that had a great view of the ocean. Other amenities include the resort style pool. plenty of parking. Both across the property as well as towards the side entrance of hotel. (FYI there is a parking fee)

Nice location across highway from beach. Beautiful view of sunset from pool area. Not much noise from highway. Room was quiet and clean. Staff was friendly. Because of COVID couldn’t get sit down breakfast but could pay for dinner in same restaurant. Almost like using virus as an excuse not to serve breakfast. Will give it another try once COVID ever passes.

If you want to go to Lego, the hotel location is very good, you can go directly to Lego's back door, and the hotel has a special LEGO front desk, she gave me two tickets, meaning that adults buy an adult ticket, children are free, we are just It is a family of four, it took more than 260 knives, bought two adult tickets, including the aquarium! The poolside environment is very good, the night pool is warm water, children are very happy!

The sea view room is not seen from the beginning to the end. The sea hotel should have a certain distance from the sea. The room bed is very large. 2 king size bed is very comfortable. For the children to go to Legoland, the hotel has a direct access to the park. The lobby has Legoland. Tickets are very convenient to buy and discounts are generally good. There are several hotels in a large resort.

We are repeat customers of the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort. And we will continue to be repeat customers. We not only stay there but we rent their conference room for workshops. It is the total package. Great location -walking distance to great restaurants. Free Coffee and tea at 6:00 AM Friendly knowledgeable front desk service. And to top it off, Corey Isherwood who was our liaison person for workshops continued to make sure everything was on time and ready to go. Corey goes above and beyond to be sure all the details are taken care of. This is a huge relief if you are doing workshops. Like a fine watch that does everything you ask, we don't want anything to change. Too bad we can't give it more stars. Lori and Ellyn

My husband and I stayed here for a nice evening together!! The sunset from our balcony was unmatched and absolutely stunning! The location is perfect for walkability to so many restaurants and bars for cocktails! Unfortunately we left something in our room but they were able to retrieve it and return it! Shoutout to Teresa L. For assisting us in how to get our item back! She was so friendly and very responsive! Highly recommend staying here!

The front desk service was huge. We arrived at the hotel at around 12 o'clock in the evening. We had a long-distance drive all day. We thought that the sheraton service could not be bad. I knew that the front desk was a fat white man. When I checked in, I kept rolling my eyes all the time. When I applied for membership, I was too sleepy and didn't respond. I asked a question. The front desk immediately replied, ”I am very busy today, don't ask me to see it yourself.” At that time, I thought it might be too late. The front desk had emotions, and it was true that in April, it was obvious that the trash was a hostile phenomenon. After the completion of the process, I did not tell me how to find the room, just an understatement, ”Go through the door.” As a result, there was only 3 floors in the back of the lobby, and our room number was 50. I asked him back. He confirmed that he was on the 5th floor. He immediately left the lobby and told him not to look back. In desperation, I had to bite the scalp on the third floor. Fortunately, I met a couple of black couples who went downstairs to buy wine in the middle of the night. They were very friendly and said that they also found a room for a long time during the day. The actual situation is that the sheraton hotel and the next resort share the lobby and porch. You need to go upstairs through the hotel room corridor, find a glass door at the end, swipe the card and then take the elevator to the resort floor. On the night of the check-in, I sent a complaint letter to the Shereton complaint mailbox. It has been two months since I saw it. Today I saw the app reminder comment. The disgusting feeling of Lima is coming to the fore, and I have to give a bad review.

This resort is wonderful! The lobby and restaurant area is clean, updated and the ambience is great. Our check in and check out process was smooth and the staff everywhere we encountered them were super friendly. The pool area is so much for the kids and not bad for adults too. Our room was nice with a balcony that wasn’t dusty, the amenities in the bathroom were great, we didn’t need to call for an iron or ironing board because it was already there. My family and I had a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are very large and clean. The pool is divided into adults and children. The children must go to the children's pool every day. There is a great beer house restaurant at the entrance of the hotel. You can solve the problem by visiting Legoland. Outlet is less than 5 minutes drive from the hotel, recommend the Grand Pacific Hotel to Legoland, walk no more than 10 minutes
- LEI
The parking lot is free, next to Legoland, but it takes a circle to enter the park. The environment is very good, the suite is equipped with a kitchen and there is a Costco supermarket for 10 minutes. The swimming pool and children's pool are good and the children are very happy.

My husband and I have been owners at Aviara for 22 years and our family always looks forward to spending time at this facility. This year there was a clear decline in service. During our week stay, we had to call housekeeping every single day to request more of the standard items- towels, shampoo, kitchen or washing soaps. Things like Kleenex or paper towels were never replaced when they ran out. Though all the staff was pleasant, there was absolutely no follow through with actions. I had mentioned three times- pre-check-in, at check-in and at checkout that it was my daughter’s birthday and she had had a very hard year. I requested balloons or such to celebrate, but nothing was done until we were literally departing and then only because I mentioned it to the manager. I know this is not standard procedure for a Four Seasons. Many activities were not operating yet and that was a disappointment. There was no kids club, and except for one Saturday activity there was nothing scheduled for children. When our children were young, there was so much activity available and that is not the case. This was not a typical Four Seasons experience and we were all disappointed that it didn’t live up to our pre-Covid experiences.

The hotel was great. The price for the convenience to be walking distance to the ocean and Carslbad Villiage was worth it. The only downfall was even though the vehicles are parked in small cubbies beneath the rooms, they were not safe. ALL of the vehicles parked on the same side were vandalized and there was nothing the hotel would do. There was a camera, but unless we called the police ourselves they wouldn't do anything. Luckily our vehicle was an easy fix, the same could not be the said for others who had more extensive damage. Many unhappy vacationers were going to be leaving that day. I will be back, but I will be cautious with my vehicle.

Booked a two night stay here when I was in the San Diego area for work. While the property is aging, I can see that they try to maintain its upkeep pretty well. Unfortunately, there were some issues of concern that made the experience less than amazing. I wasn't expecting an Intercontinental (I've stayed at two ICs this past year) - but being that it is part of the IHG, I was expecting at least decent service. Pros: * The IHG website/app were having issues due to the hack. I finally was able to book a reservation, but called the morning of to confirm. Todd was friendly and efficient, was able to confirm my reservation (booked directly through the hotel), view preferences and noted my late checkout request. * Lili was the front desk agent when I checked in. She was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. She also was able to notate my late checkout request for 2pm. * I reached out to Lili shortly after checking into my room and noticed what looked like pet hairs (see attached photos) in a corner of the room. She expressed genuine concern after I showed her the photos, and had Yolanda stop by with a vacuum cleaner. * Centrally located to groceries and restaurants (walking distance to Trader Joe's!). * Courtyard view rooms have better noise insulation from the road - a good thing considering that the hotel property fronts a major roadway (Palomar Airport Road). * Rooms have a mini-fridge, which is helpful since most hotels don't offer one. * The hotel's on-site restaurant, Stratus - was open everyday for breakfast/dinner - their buttermilk pancakes are great. Cons: * The pet hair situation led me to wonder what other shortcuts was taken (or not taken) in turning over the room. If you look at the photos, this wasn't a stray pet hair here and there - the amount of hair should've been noticeable if the turnover was just a bit more thorough. * The wireless internet kept cutting out throughout the stay. I'm not sure where the router is, but perhaps the hotel can consider adding a few wireless access points throughout the property, since the signal kept getting dropped. * The walls are thin. I was next to a guy that played his TV on at full blast - it sounded like a concert every night. I could hear vividly his phone conversations (colorful language) too. * Late checkout was inconsistent. Todd noted my request initially over the phone - he said he would be able to offer 1:30pm. Lili upon checkin, confirmed it for 2pm. My card stopped working at 12:30pm when I left to move some of my belongings to my car. I waited behind 3 other guests before I was able to be helped and Veronica asked if I was still checking out at 1pm. I mentioned the later time that Lili offered and even pointed out that had my card still worked, I wouldn't have lost 30 minutes waiting in line and probably would've been able to check out by 1pm. * When I finally managed to get back into my room to remove the rest of my stuff, I went back down to the front desk. Which had four

In a square, across the road is Ole Ole is close to the hotel. There are seven or eight restaurants on the side of the hotel. There is a free shuttle bus to Legoland. The parking place is 10 meters next to the park gate. It is more convenient and cheaper than own parking! The room facilities are relatively old. The two-story small building before the cycling hotel was surrounded. A small pool can be called a resort hotel. The resort fee is also collected. For the resort fee, you have to go for a swim. Breakfast is better than the room Be average. But look at the price compared with the surroundings. The location and the tip are not too cute to the shuttle driver. I will choose here next time.

I think this place recently changed hands. The evening staff that greeted me when I arrived was eating her dinner - noodles- at the check in desk. Nevermind Covid still being a ' thing' , she continued to eat while checking me in. She was extremely rude and acted like checking me in was more of an annoyance than anything else. She didn't tell me what room I had, what the WiFi password was, amenities etc. The inhospitality of the staff remained the norm throughout my entire stay. That is with the exception of one housekeeping person and a new staff member named Christopher. The door magnet didn't work The coffee was like Folgers and terrible There weren't any drinking glasses in the room and only one coffee cup The bed was so soft I had to put a pillow under my back I could go on Trust me there's a lot more But suffice it to say All in all A motel 6 would have been more comfortable This was not a great experience. However ALL could have been overlooked if the staff was friendly. They should hire Christopher to manage it He knows hospitality. Oh and I should add That at checkout time The owner it manager who wears a shiny tan suit Makes sure there's a police car outside ready to get rid of any guests who don't check out in time. That's right - he's a pushy mafioso type person. Very rude and in your face. Too to the hotel Get the shiny suit guy off the property. He's bad for biz. Carlsbad is a high end destination place and he is more appropriate for Folsom.

To be frank, I was kind of skeptical to stay here because of the reviews. I was on a budget and looking for a room for 4 nights. The location was great and the rooms were small but nice. The owners live on premises and are hands on. I think that a lot of these complaints and lack of responsiveness from the business is because English is their second language. I personally had a few kind exchanges with them and you could tell they were appreciative. For those 1 star reviews, to get a decent spot a few blocks from the beach for $50 a night...What is there to complain about?
