My trip to Baku, Azerbaijan, and my stay at the Baku Boulevard Marriott was an absolute high point! ✨
The location is simply unbeatable! The hotel is right by the Caspian Sea, and opening the window reveals stunning sea views. Strolling along the promenade in the evening, feeling the sea breeze, and watching the sunset truly enhances the ambiance 💖. It's also not far from the airport, and the hotel even offers a shuttle service, so lugging luggage to catch a flight isn't a hassle. Getting to various attractions in the city center is also very convenient.
The rooms are genuinely spacious and bright, with a modern and stylish decor that makes for a very comfortable stay. The bed firmness was just right; even I, who usually struggles to sleep in new places, slept soundly all night. The cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless, and all the facilities were new and easy to use. Upgrading to a sea-view room is definitely worth it; lying in bed and watching the shimmering Caspian Sea is incredibly therapeutic 🌊.
The dining options are incredibly diverse, ranging from local specialties to international flavors. The breakfast selection was particularly comprehensive, with fresh fruits and made-to-order omelets – you could eat there for days without getting bored. The small desserts at tea time were exquisitely made; lounging in the lounge in the afternoon with some sweets and a cup of tea was wonderfully relaxing.
I must commend the pool in the public area! The water was clean, and the surrounding sun loungers were comfortable. Swimming and then sunbathing afterward truly felt like a perfect vacation 🏊♀️. The service team was also very professional and enthusiastic, providing attentive service from check-in to check-out. Any issues were addressed promptly, which made for a very pleasant experience.
The only minor drawback is that the hotel is quite large, and the corridors are long, so sometimes finding your room takes a little walk, but this in no way detracts from the overall experience. Whether for leisure or business travel, this hotel is perfectly suited. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Baku! 👏FromTRY 5,102

From the start to the end the service was impeccable. The staff done everything to make our stay memorable. We had a suite room this was a size of a 2 bed apartment, the view was spectacular. The hotel is in great location to see modern Baku and is around 15 min drive from old town. Room is spacious, location is a bit far from tourist attractions, but has supermarket within walking distance, also a shuttle bus can be booked to go to old town. The hotel is not located in the very center, there is an interchange nearby and there are traffic jams during peak hours, which needs to be taken into account. There are outdoor and indoor pools, very good. Breakfast is very good. Some of the sockets in the room are falling out. The hotel is excellent. In the best location. The service was good but when I asked for a late check out , they refused. I told them that I have a flight in the evening and that I am alone but they refused.

Excellent location and good housekeeping. On my husband's birthday, they brought him a complimentary cake. We had a late check-in, and they extended our check-out until 2 PM free of charge. The cleaning staff were very friendly and attentive. When we returned in the evening with mineral water, a staff member met us in the hallway and seemed concerned that we hadn't received enough water.
The only minor issue was that they were slow to replenish empty dishes at breakfast.

Diamond Hotel baku is amazing. The hotel staff is helpful and even guided for nearby restaurants especially when we reached late to the hotel and everything was shut. The hotel is located in a new district with fancy malls, boutiques, and tall buildings, but the old town is quite a distance away. This meant a 2+ km walk daily to get there. I stayed for four nights in total. This hotel offers great value for money, the facilities are decent, and it's reasonably clean. The only downside was one male receptionist who had a very bad attitude. The young women I encountered on the first and last day, however, were very friendly. Honestly, for just over 300 a night, especially in a foreign country, I didn't expect exceptional service. But I do expect basic friendliness and respect.
