I need a new vocabulary. Having previously used all the superlatives to describe other resorts, I need new ones, as this is an order of magnitude beyond all previous resort vacations. The physical resort, the food, the service, the diving, the attitude of the staff, everything. I was met at the airport, guided through the ferry terminal, picked up at the ferry landing, taken to the resort, and greeted by name, by everyone, all week. At no time was I ”just another dollar”, and at no time was any member of the staff less than entirely cheerful and helpful. I could get used to this, real easy... It's as if I were a valued guest, instead of just a customer. Imagine that. To make this shorter for those who don't want to read the rest of this... I began my plans to return on the way home. I rarely go anywhere outside of the USA twice, (been there, done that..) Not this time. I am going back and I will bring as many friends as I can. It's 14 hours on a jet from LAX to Manila, and 4 more hours after that. I hate travel, but this was worth it. I'll take Philippine Airlines again next time too. They don't treat you like cattle, sheep or dirt. I have now felt respect while travelling, and I like it! The flight wasn't so bad. I am 6” tall, weight 240, and was comfortable in economy. Free wifi, a tv with free movies, tv shows, music..etc.. a very pleasant flight, in both directions. Food OPTIONS! You get to choose. Wow. On arrival at Marco Vincent, I was greeted by name, shown my room, a crate was outside my door to put my dive gear in, it was the last time I handled it all week. My room was large, extremely clean, super comfortable with a small fridge full of water, a table w 2 chairs, a big shower, AC unit, very firm mattress, spotless soft white sheets, a 32” TV with plenty of channels and it was quiet. All meals were as good as I have had anywhere. This place only has 32 rooms, so the buffet menu is not extensive, but I always found more than enough of what I like to eat. The quality and presentation was always top notch. The quality of the food extends to the dive boat, Big Beth. They have a chef aboard and those meals are the same quality as at the resort. Remember, this is a day boat, and they have a chef aboard serving freshly made gourmet meals. (Sure beats grabbing a sandwich at Walmart on the way to the lake....) The diving itself was like nowhere else. I saw things I didn't know existed.. an electric clam? WOW! Nudibranchs, mantis shrimp, lion fish (where they belong), a few octopi, at least three, maybe five, different morays, frogfish, giant clams, miniature seahorses, scorpionfish, colors that I can't describe...more different fish than I could list in a week... Every dive was something new, and all conducted from a really nice boat, the nicest boat I saw there. Big, clean, outfitted for diving with camera stations, charging stations, camera tanks, full emergency gear, oxygen, AED. not to mention the galley where the chef w

No dive trip will EVER be the same we were sooo pampered! They knew our names from the moment we walked into the resort actually as we were getting on the ferry!! Dive team takes all gear to boat, sets us up on air or nitrox, helps putting gear on & off, dive masters for every 4 to 5 divers, helps taking off fins as we go up the ladder, hot wash towels & hot ginger tea after EVERY dive, towels and water bottles, snacks after first dive, unbelievable delicious HOT cooked lunches on board after the second dive and a cold beer after the last dive, they rinse down your equipment daily, then back to the resort for a GREAT evening meal and WONDERFUL entertainment, lots of Philippine food and cultural folk dances. We didn’t have to think/do anything but eat, dive, sleep then repeat! 8 days and 25 awesome dives later they rinse all gear, dry it all, bring back to your room ready to pack for home! Ohhh can’t forget the videos/photos taken by Rizza & Marlon! The staff at the Resort and boat are outstanding people that cater to your ever need. Thank you Rizza,Marlon,JaJa,Ghen,CoCoy,Liv,Sherwin,Christian,Ronald,Faith,and all the rest of the Marco Vincent TEAM!! I think we need a repeat on this trip!!! Definitely a first class dive trip!!

The resort was really nice, comfortable, rooms are good, great A/C . Plenty of hot water, the service was perfect, the resort staff was so friendly and welcoming, they all took care of us like royalty. The food was very good , buffet during the day , excellent and fresh, dinner at night was best in town. Manager Allison takes care of all your needs and is super cool . Asia Divers does an excellent job , boats in great shape , all new gear, super dive masters , high quality dives. No complaints at all after a weeks stay.

The appearance of the hotel is very good, the room facilities are very old, not as good as domestic express hotels, cooling by fans, window-type air conditioners, and the sound of the refrigerator is relatively loud. On the wooden floor, if someone walks around next door, the pillow will feel vibrated. Also, the smell of oily smoke in the hotel is more uncomfortable! The location of the hotel is still good, as soon as it comes out is the beach, which is more comfortable, that is, the facilities in the hotel are really average, but the hotel on that island is estimated to be about the same.

This is a great boutique hotel with spacious villas suitable for our family. The pool is great, happy hour is a blast 4-6pm daily and rooms are comfortable. The ate at their restaurant every night and food was good. During the day we took the boat which cost approx 3k for 4 hours and did island hopping. The stairs in the resort to your room is a challenge so if you have limited mobility then avoid but we had no issue with it.

Checked in on the 18th, the environment is very good, the service is very thoughtful, very safe, there are hotel staff guarding the door at night! A special mention is that this restaurant is really great. I recommend going to her house for dinner. I ordered three or four dishes and it was dazzling! (PS On the second day of check-in, I left my phone on the chair by the pool after swimming. When I found out that I was looking for it, the hotel staff just delivered it to the door of the room very enthusiastically. Thank you so much!)

We had a good time at the resort. It was relaxing, the food was and the hosts were quite accommodating. They proactively reached out to book ferry tickets for us when they realized that the seats are limited due to cancellations caused by the cyclone. The location is a bit hard to reach and you have to walk the last 800 metres. Its a great place to stay if you plan to do diving and related activities.

Good: The beach was amazing and some inns are nice and accomodating. I got no problems with the boatmen especially the ones in kayaking activities. The sand was also satisfying. White beach is an almost perfect place to beach bum and have a little walk by the shore in the morning. During my island hopping experience, there was a lot of places to beach bum also and snorkel. Bad: Whenever I tried to relax at the beach or simply eat food, rude vendors (including massage therapists) treat you as a walking ATM instead of a human being trying to enjoy the visit. They will keep bugging you even if you said you've already bought the same items or service from them. Another problem I encountered in white beach was the way the tricycle drivers demand you to spend overpriced transportation fees. The guide fee wasn't even included in the tour. It's like they treat every tourists (Filipinos especially from Manila and foreigners alike) like a walking ATM. I even witnessed my massage therapist talking to someone on the phone referring me to ”It”. She was speaking with a different dialect but I could understand some of her words. I wish someday they change the way they treat their tourists especially those who were only there to unwind from their day-to-day problems. Most of the food are overpriced. I MEAN how can they sell salted egg for php 40? In Manila, its just around php 20 below. Even a simple sachet of 3-in-1 coffee cost like 20 pesos each. Friendly advice: Just ignore those rude locals and try to make the most out of your vacation. If they insist, just ignore them and look away. To save some money with food, i suggest you just bring your own especially eggs because it can be really expensive here. If you don't want to, I suggest also to just buy a bulk order of grilled liempo and chicken or bangus (boneless) near the restaurant called Foodtrip and take it out or just eat there (if you like unlimited rice). If you like to try tapsilog or any food that is 'silog ', there is a small carinderia just in front of the tricycle terminal inside the resort. Tapsilog is only 80 pesos with garlic rice there. Bring your own 3-in-1 coffee sachets and milo milk sachets. If you have thermos for hot water, the better. You might also want to bring your own shampoo and soap. Make sure to have a van transfer going to the resort and going back to Mueller port or where your ferry is. Avoid the tricycles as much as possible when necessary. If you can't, make sure you have a stack cash with you to pay the

Peak season is the bomb in White Beach. Perfect location for a night to just chill. From Batangas Pier, take Muelle port. Php350 with shuttle to White Beach itself. Just let the driver know which hotel u will be staying at. It is about 30-40mins ride. Another option is to head to Balatero port. That is about 7min tryke ride, Php100 (special, or u wait for it to fill four people). Less crowded and much nearer to White Beach. Montenegro RORO and Atienza services that port. Heading back to Manila during peak season is such a hassle if you’re booking for your ferry ride the same day. Best to get your ferry tickets one or two days before to secure the time and you must board an hour before the actual trip as it will be hard to get seats.

Amazing staff, extremely friendly and very professional. Right on the beach, although the beach is a little dirty, not so nice. However, it's a cheap ride to the beautiful White Beach. The spa attached to the resort was also great! Food was good. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Spets Garden hotel for 3 days, and booked the 2 bedroom family room and 2 jr deluxe suite for my mom and aunt. The food was great, the room is clean, the family room is gorgeous with a nice view of Sabang beach. The Hotel Manager, Mark is very accommodating as well as the hotel staff. We felt well served and the place feels so exclusive for us. Though the family room is located on the top, its like climbing a 7th floor, but its worth it because of the very nice view .We rented out a jeepney to bring us to white beach the whole afternoon and return in the evening. We both enjoy sabang and white beach during our stay. We will definitely come back.

1. Hotel location: 900 meters away from the white sandy beach, you can walk along the highway for 15 minutes, or walk along the beach through a reef, about 25 minutes. 2. Hotel environment: Have your own beach at least 50 meters, very suitable for watching the sunset of the sea, and falling asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Unfortunately, the beach has a lot of pebbles and the sand is relatively thick, which is not suitable for swimming. The waves during my stay in the past few days were relatively big, and it was not suitable for swimming. I could only swim in the hotel pool 3. Hotel facilities: the room is spacious and bright, facing the sea, there is a balcony with green plants and a sofa bed, you can lie down and chat and watch the sea view. Disadvantages: The pillows are very uncomfortable, my friends and I both sleep with neck pain; the single bed in the double room is too narrow about 90 cm; there is no toothpaste and toothbrush, ask the front desk to pay for it; one less towel for wiping hair 4. Breakfast is very simple. When it is free, two slices of toast + egg + 1 cup of drink, others need to be paid separately, the price is not low 5. Whether the room is suitable for children, as soon as I entered the room, I removed the two single beds, and there was a sofa bed that was stretched out. The next day the waiter saw that we didn’t need it, and we would harvest the sofa, so we should live in a family it is also fine Because I didn't see a hotel with 4 stars or more in White Beach on Ctrip, I booked this one, and I am basically satisfied with it.

I'd like to graciously comment that to some extent, we had a good and fulfilling stay except for an uncomfortable experience in meeting a few ”defensive” staff of Jack Daniel Apartments. I would kindly suggest that next time, please welcome your guests warmly first before telling it to their face the cost of (e.g.) extra mattress for each night, missing bath towel, etc. I think it's intimidating to confront the guests with ”this and that prices” when they have just arrived. I regret to say that some staff were defensive in their explanation. Another intimidating act was the suggestion of Ms. Jocie for us to book another room with two superior bedrooms, when our booking confirmation stated 4 adults and 4 children. It was just relieving when she finally honoured the Agoda Booking Confirmation, but not after hours of long discussions 😢. Anyhow, I wasn't very glad to pay Php 2,000. for two extra mattresses for our additional two school children; and even this amount is high. We liked the swimming pool and the gardens. The property must have seen long years but well maintained. Despite my experience with a few intimidating staff, I'd like to thank Jack Daniel Apartments.

We stayed at Blue Crystal Beach Resorts for two weeks. We had the most wonderful time resting, sightseeing, island hopping and walks around the neighborhood. Breakfast is free which makes it taste even better, hahaha! On the serious side, the encounters we have had with the staff are phenomenal! Greets you with the sweetest biggest smile!!! Always asking if there is anything we need for our room, prepared our meals accordingly, at times even gave us the option if there is anything we wanted to eat out of the menu. They even go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure we have eaten before they leave for the night, how amazing is that! Truly unheard off! Thank Dolor and Annalyn for going the extra mile so we didn’t starve for the night. Thank you to Lucy and Ram for preparing our meals according to our dietary guidelines and make taste yummy! Thank you Phia, Josie and the rest of the staff whom kept our room very clean, well stocked and smelled really good. Until our next stay, take care of yourselves! Close to Sabang beach - 5 mins by bike (P25 only) or 25 mins walk. In quite hill overlooking bay - nice sea view. Very clean swimming pool. Good WiFi outside the room. Provide bike rental and tricycle at very reasonable price. Clean pool daily and when request, quick to clean up room. Cleanliness is excellent. Service and hotel was fantastic. Very relaxing and the food was A+++ only negative was a lot of confusion with the final bill. I think it should be more itemised and in Filipino currency not US. Process: Go to the luxury family room scheduled for diving on National Day. It is about 100 meters away from SABANG beach. The entrance to the mountain for the first time is not easy to find. Breakfast has American and noodles. The American default is 2 slices of grilled meat, 2 fried eggs, 2 slices of toast, small sauce jam and butter; if you want noodles, cook noodles; Overall rating: Very good Advantages: good service attitude and good sanitation; environment is good, there is a drop, and the vegetation is rich; the rooms are basically detached houses, and the rooms on the hill can overlook the entire SABANG beach; quiet and ecological, and there are insects calling at night Sound, there will be cuckoos flying to the balcony in the middle of the night, and geckos can often be seen outside. Disadvantages and suggestions: It is not convenient to go diving without a safe, it is recommended to add a small safe; add a clothesline on the balcony to dry clothes; add a mosquito killer;

It's quiet, it's family-friendly. The dive sites are close and allow a return to the resort after each dive. The equipment is mounted on the block and awaits us on the bangka. At the end of its stay, it is returned washed and dried. For the dives Christophe and Hippo will unearth the wonders to see. The day at Isla Verde is worth doing. A room is dedicated to the photographer to recharge the batteries and dry the equipment. The bedroom with 1 double bed is spacious with local artisan decor. The meals are excellent. The local staff is friendly and available and quickly remembers your first name. Well done Alain. The massage at the resort is of better quality and cleanliness than in town.

Had the pleasure of staying at La Laguna Beach Club & Dive Centre for a few days. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. They organized a private boat to pick me up in Busuangas as the public ferries were canceled on the day of my arrival due to a gale warning. The food was great, and I loved the boutique style and relaxed nature of the hotel. The hotel is beautifully located right on the shoreline only 600 meters from the center of Sabang. The dive shop is part of the hotel making diving a breeze. I have been scuba diving for +30 years and have been diving all over the world. Puerto Galera boasts some of the best shore-based diving in the world. The soft coral is stunning and the biodiversity is amazing. Great diving for looking at small stuff. Visibility averages between 15-25 meters which will disappoint some, but not me given the number of critters to look at. You will be hard-pressed to find a better and more professional run dive shop. Top-notch, new equipment; great friendly dive instructors and attention to safety. Most of the more than 30 dive sites are just 5-10 minutes away by boat giving you time to do more dives and rat the hotel in between dives. La Laguna Beach Club & Dive Centre is located only 3hrs away from Manila making diving possible even if you have only a few days.
