The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast, but there’s nothing wrong with that as long as it’s advertised as such. A warning for less able clients - all the rooms are on the 1st / 2nd / 3rd floor and there isn’t a lift. If you can’t use stairs or lift a suitcase, here isn’t for you. The en-suite in our room wasn’t the cleanest. When we arrived, the bin hadn’t been replaced. There was also a really strong smell of urine every time we entered the room - even after housekeeping had been. The drain for the shower was very slow, so every time we showered, the tray filled with water. All that said, the service was lovely. The staff were helpful - especially the staff member who works the breakfast service. There was also another staff member on our last day who gave us travel information because there were no trains from Kew that day.

Stayed 2 nights when visiting Kew Gardens. Ideally situated for Kew Gardens, which is just around the corner Decor was a bit tired, but room clean and lovely friendly staff and Breakfast was good. Walked into Richmond which was lovely. Ate at Q Verde, a family run Italian restaurant just 5 mins walk away, which was excellent. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful, charming hotel with a fantastic location!” This is a fantastic hotel! The location is incredibly convenient, right near Kew Gardens, making it easy to visit both the gardens and nearby Richmond. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially a young woman from Poland at the front desk. She was so warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely helpful—she really made our my special. The room itself was very cozy and welcoming, giving you the feeling of a traditional English home or bedroom. The hotel is very quiet, and the surrounding street felt safe and peaceful. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This was a great find as we are visiting Kew Gardens. Would recommend highly. Bedroom was very good with a very comfortable bed. Pleasant staff especially Alicia at Reception. Nothing was too much trouble at all. We will definitely be coming back soon.

The location is excellent but the flat we had needs some refurbishing. Bathroom doors couldn’t be closed properly, cupboard doors were loose, the microwave handle was also broken. The most importantly it was really tiny compared to the impression we’ve got from the photos posted on the internet.

Grandpa landlord, there is a kitchen, a yard, and the subway track behind it, but the subway stops at night, which is warm and suitable for families.

I booked the executive double bed room online and upon arrival they told me I could not stay in that room for one night because someone else had booked that room. I refused and told them I can not take another room . i was then told to top up usd$15 because the online priced are apparently different from their original prices. I wanted to speak to the manager but the stuff made it clear that the maanger can not be seen. at a certain point I waited almost 2 hours at the reception trying to get hold of the manager. if you wanna stay at this guest house dont book online, rather go in person and see what you are paying for. the location is good but I was disappointed with their services. they also need proper tissues and towels in their rooms .

Booked this guest house based on the reviews that I had read. It is a very basic guest house and in my view, will require some improvements to meet some minimum international standards. The positive is that the WiFi worked very well and hence once on site could stay in touch with family and friends. Also the staff were very friendly and appearedto work with what they had at their disposal. Areas of improvements: 1. Not sure if the guest house had master keys to the rooms. Our room was never cleaned for the period that we were there. Not sure if because we went out with the key or we had to request for the room to be clean. 2. We were not given towels and it was good we have carried some towels with us. It will be extremely good to provide towels and should be already present in the room when the guest arrives. 3. The bathroom had no mirror so when I needed to shave, I had to come back to the bedroom to use the mirror. 4. It appeared the whole guest house has only one kettle and hence if you needed what water, you needed to request for the kettle. Worst still the bedroom did not have the socket for the kettle's plug and hence had to go back to the reception to heat the water. 5. Although the guest house is advertised as having a kitchen, this was in an outhouse and you have to leave the main guest house to use the kitchen. Worst is that the kitchen was not ready when we arrived and it is not well kitted, and in my opinion should not be advertised as a guest house with a kitchen. 6. Finally, the guest house did not have a stanby generator and on one of the nights, the lights went off from @2am local timm till mid morning.

The downside is that the WiFi is sometimes disconnected, the shower sometimes has no hot water, sometimes no cold water, and the water supply is unstable.
