We booked this hotel last minute due to another hotel cancelling us. The staff were very welcoming, extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was very beautiful with a nice bar lounge area downstairs which stayed open until 1am. Our room was nice, although we had a room with a velux window so it felt very dark. We didn't have any view and didn't like that we had no window to open for fresh air. I think this was just unfortunate for us due to booking last minute and the hotel finding 4 rooms to accommodate us. Our friends who stayed had nice rooms with windows. We would definitely stay here again.

What a gem. Conveniently located fir the mining heritage site next door, comfy and clearly they’re doing some refurb work to make it even better. Good restaurant with very sensible pricing, comfy, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Will be back !
