"We spent four wonderful days at this hotel. We arrived late in the evening, and when we left our room in the morning and saw the beauty around us, we said, "Wow!" The beach 100 meters from the hotel is one of the best beaches on Siquijor Island. A family of turtles lives in the sea opposite the hotel, not far from the buoys. The staff is very pleasant and treats every guest with respect. I especially want to mention the very sweet Daisy, the manager, who resolves any issue quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much for your wonderful attitude towards guests. We celebrated my husband's birthday there, and they helped us prepare our holiday table. I definitely recommend it. The only downside is that it's a bit off the main road. We rented motorbikes from the hotel."

"Dastraum initially had not so good reviews on Google Maps but we still went on anyway. They had actually good price rates and is located near town but not on the mainroad itself so it's easier to move around but with more quiet time if you ever prefer it. The place has one main large house (which I think are for couples or smaller groups) and bigger ones are placed outside with separate rooms. Our room was very wide and comfortable actually, with TV, towels and clean beddings. We were near the side gate so it is easier to go outside where we parked out minivan. They have also given us access to the nearby kitchen and dining area so we were free to cook and hang our laundry. They are also open 24 hours a day so there's no problem getting out early and returning late. They have a parking space inside for motorbikes and outside for cars and mini-vans. Inside the admin building, they have a mini-store where you can order meals from their menu (P100+ only) and some other amenities like drinks, biscuits and even rent their motorbikes and car. I think Dastraum also owns the Dastraum Restaurant near the port. So if you ever find yourself in Siquijor, I can commend Dastraum for a laidback and quiet experience."

"This hotel is perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet and just want to relax. The views here are absolutely unbeatable, and the service is excellent. Regarding the location, it's up on a hill, which isn't ideal if you're renting a scooter. We paid 450p for a tricycle from the pier to the hotel, and booked a tricycle for a day tour the next day. The room facilities are pretty standard. We experienced a power outage one evening, but it was quickly restored. Given Siargao's limited infrastructure, this is quite normal. You might occasionally find geckos in the room, both big and small. However, perhaps because of this, we didn't encounter any mosquitoes in the entire hotel. Despite the average room facilities, I genuinely loved the scenery. The staff, from start to finish, were all wonderful and made me feel comfortable, especially Jasmine, who maintained a smile throughout. The hotel didn't even ask for a deposit, and we could pay for our meals at the end of our stay. The beef rice was delicious and quite Chinese-style, and the chicken leg rice was also good."
