Hotels near Sunset Raiza in Siquijor

The hotel is located in a peaceful isolated place near the nice beach where you can get only if you stay in one of two hotel there or if you buy a ticket. The road goes through the woods so it is very quiet. You can grab a kayak at the hotel and explore the nearby empty beaches or do some snorkeling just in front of the hotel. The beach is located 3 min away, and there is a small rock with some places for jumping into the water, but the local officer said it is forbidden to swim and jump there. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but it is quite pricey, the nearest place to eat is only bike or tricycle reachable. The luxe room is awesome, a lot of space and light, truly loved the big windows. Definitely recommend if you love quiet places and can drive a bike or a car.

LOVED our stay at Coco Grove. We are not fans of large resorts, but this is an exception. Even though our first 2 nights the resort was full we did not feel like there were lots of people. The property is huge, villas and rooms are spread out amidst lush tropical foliage, there are 3 different & good sized pools in different areas. 3 food outlets. A decently equipped gym. A nice gift shop that doesn’t mark up the items exorbitantly—we found it very reasonable. Very well planned resort. Staff are just lovely—very sweet, attentive and helpful. Everyone. From drivers, front office, restaurants, spa, cleaners, gardeners, guards, lifeguards—all really just genuinely nice. I greatly appreciate how the staff are kind to animals too. Went to the Spa 3 nights for massage—ask for joy—I had one of the best aromatherapy massages from her (2 nights—my first and last; the masseuse I had the other night was mediocre). And if you prefer hard massages ask for a Swedish deep tissue massage from Fretzel, she was excellent according to my partner. We stayed in an ocean villa. Very spacious with a good sized bathroom with separate shower and bath tub too. There are also shelves and closets to hang clothes. Rooms are cleaned daily which we appreciate (if you don’t want yours cleaned daily let them know when you check in). It was wonderful having the beach & sea “at your doorstep.” Our stay was very peaceful. The Sanctuary Villas are at the opposite end, near the spa and in a bit more private area, we’ll probably request that for next time. there isn’t anything wrong with the Ocean villas (which are near the dive center) it’s just there was more foot traffic in the area than in the sanctuary. Internet is good in some areas and weak to none in others. Food is ok, portions are good. Decent selection for breakfast. For vegetarians the vegetable curry in Salanandas is good, Thai inspired better than at the Beach Bar. The fries and the stir fried vermicelli noodles w vegetables at the Beach Bar were better than the fries and the vegetarian pancit (these noodles were thicker) at Salamandas. Don’t forget to say hi to Macky, their rescued Brazilian Parrot We’ll be back, coco Grove is on our list of favorite beach resorts!

It's the third time I've stayed here, conveniently located a few kilometres from Siquijor, Dumanhog is nice and quiet overnight, the staff are friendly and all speak English if you can't speak Bisaya or Tagalog,we like it because of it central location to our friends and family on the island, if you need help to hire a motorcycle or get a taxi the staff will be able to help you,we had a great stay and intend to be back again.

I love this hotel. i have stayed here now many many times, and i have NEVER had a bad experience, so i thought i would finally write a DESERVED GOOD review. The Hotel is placed right at the heart of Dumaguete, everything you would want is with a few mins of the hotel, the hotel also provides trips to some of the popular tourist attractions. The rooms are always clean and fresh with daily room service, but in my opinion the only thing that lets the rooms down are the showers which sadly could do with more maintenance as often they are faulty in some way and poorly kept looking, but they still provide good supply of hot water. I have stayed in all of the rooms they offer, from their suite to the standard rooms, and all show the same levels of cleanliness and the rooms always feel welcoming. Free breakfast is provided and the restaurant is good and the food well cooked and presented , the hotel provides a full range of pampering service if you require some self indulgence. The staff are ALWAYS friendly polite professional and on hand for any reason and will always make you feel important and a valued guest. I have in all my stays at this Hotel had only ever had one problem which was dealt with professionally, immediately and satisfactorily,. This hotel is ALWAYS my first choice when i visit Dumaguete, and will continue to be so They have plenty of rooms and even as a walk in, i have never been turned away from being fully booked, Its always a pleasure staying here.... One word to describe Bluewater Sumilon Island would be PARADISE! We were greeted by a mild-mannered receptionist (if i remember it right, Kevin) before we hopped on the boat. Sit on the first row, if you wish to enjoy the water splashes. We didn't mind as we were still wearing our swimmers from our whaleshark experience. We got there about 1pm, the room was ready about 3pm, but no trouble, because we enjoyed alone time in the infinity pool, took a nap on the daybeds, enjoyed a ”must order” halo halo on a buko, and fruit smoothies! What makes this place awesome is the staff, from the pool guy who picks up every leaf falling on the water, to the porters who helped our bags, to the friendly people at the reception and the dining area, even the nice ladies at the Amuma lounge. William's smile and attentive service is really heart warming. I'm not surprised why he's popular! Security is spot on! My husband flew a drone in front of our room and was told off 10 seconds later, which we are ok to abide. When snorkelling, I highly recommend getting a guide to the marine sanctuary. It's so worth it! It's good that the guides protect the sanctuary. There are only areas where you can snorkel, but plenty of fish, corals and clown fish. We stayed in premier deluxe room, which was very spacious, closest to the sandbar and best spot to watch the sunrise. Buffet dinner and breakfast are really good with plenty of options. Highly recommend, but would stay for more than 1 night next time.

Location wise, it is not near the party area which isa San Juan. The hotel is located in Lazi where most of the tourist spots are located but if you are a party goer, the hotel is quite far. But the hotel may call for a transportation. Signal - There is no mobile signal in the hotel. They have wifi but there were times that the wifi was so slow and its a bit frustrating since you have no other access as your mobile data will not work. Room - very spacious. They have mini fridge, a TV and electric kettle. The TV has netflix, YT. They have cabinets. Hot and cold shower is available. Their blanket is not a comforter, it is just plain flat blanket. They provide towels. Amenities - they have swimming pool but it was not warm which is not an issue. You can lounge in the couch while having you tan. Staff - they were friendly and very accommodating. They have this walkie talkie so you can contact them if you have questions or requests. Restaurant - food was great and they offer a variety of menu. The whole place is so quiet that if you want a relaxing stay, this hotel is great except for the absence of mobile signal.

The owner of the resort is Chinese. He is talkative and forthright. He gave a lot of travel suggestions. The path to enter the resort is a bit rotten. The environment inside is beautiful. The photos are not retouched. It’s okay to be in a daze all day. It only costs 300P to rent a snorkeling suit for a day. Go snorkeling directly from the steps of the hotel, watching sea turtles is so easy! It would be better if the room facilities are updated, there are no matching cups and toiletries in the room, it is recommended to rent a motorcycle to drive to the hotel when you arrive at Xidao Pier, the hotel has a second phase of construction in progress , I believe it will be better in the future

expensive! Not worth the price! The sea view room will be booked for 1500rmb on the 5th of October, two months in advance! I went to see the day 1000rmb! Potholes! It doesn't matter! The key is the small bathroom in the room! Not as good as the other seven hundred and one nights I ordered! The swimming pool is also small! A burger 450p! A glass of juice 245p! Never make a bad review! I am giving you the first time! Mainly to remind everyone!
