"I originally wanted to book a lodge inside Yosemite, but I booked too late and couldn't find anything available. So, I found this hotel near the South Gate. It was quite expensive, but it was relatively close to Yosemite. On the night of check-in, they even had s'mores! They also gave us two bottles of water and a small duck toy. Parking was a nightmare, there weren't enough spaces, so everyone just parked on the road, and thankfully, no one got towed. No complimentary breakfast. The staff, however, were all very friendly and enthusiastic."

"This place is just heavenly! Deb, the manager, is top-notch and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect for us. Thank you Deb! We loved our little oasis in the forest combined with resort style amenities. We ate at the new restaurant “The Commons” which was so much better than our lackluster meal at Jackalopes at the main lodge. And, the patio seats are here amazing, overlooking the forest and creek. The location is convenient and close to the southern entrance of the park. I would definitely return in a heartbeat."
