"Let’s start with the positives. The location is fantastic. The courtyard is quirky (could be made to look stunning with a little work and TLC). The negatives! The room is extremely small. No room to put things and apart from a small clothes rail actually on show in the room, there is no where to put other clothes or possessions. There’s no where to pop all the cushions that are placed on the bed so we had to store them in the shower. Amenities are pretty basic and I would verge on a 3 star basic hotel but without the size and storage. Now the real disaster… the beds!! Both beds are placed in the bedroom literally wall to wall. If you are over 6ft then you will literally not be able to lie on the bed stretched out. One bed looks purpose built to fit in a cove style section and is so small that the single mattress is actually too big for it and as such the mattress overlaps the end of the ned creating a raised lip on the mattress. This means you can not sleep flat and have to be in a fetal position. This resulted in possibly the worst nights sleep I have ever had. If our stay would have been longer than 1 night, we would have cancelled any further nights. The room is so small that the kettle and coffee amenities are actually on the window sill and that’s where you need to make your hot drinks. Not the most expensive room in Cotswolds but even at £150 per night I feel this is far too much for this room. The shower was absolutely scorching and we were so dissonant at this point that we didn’t bother to shower and simply drove home. My personal opinion is that this room should not be available to rent as a holiday room and other potential renters are made fully aware of how small and uncomfortable it is"
