Reviews From Real Travelers
This is everything you would expect of a modern Luxury Collection property. The rooms, the pool, the gym, breakfast... all top notch. Location is also perfect. There were, however some problems. Some serious. Some minor. Serious: - there is no way to contact the hotel electronically prior to arrival. There is no published email. I contacted them by Facebook Messenger, and they gave me an email address.... to which they did not reply. I recontacted via Messager... and they did not reply. No email address for a hotel in 2023 is not acceptable. - I was arriving ahead of the check-in time (10am vs 2pm) and checking out well before the check-out time (6am vs 12 noon). I explained the situation, said that I did not need my room early but i) if it was available great but ii) if it wasn't I would freshen up and change my travel clothes in the gym changing room. The answer - 'if you want the room before 2pm, you pay 50% of the daily rate. You may access the gym only after 2pm'. I was shocked. I understand that they are under no obligation, but refusing to allow someone to use the changing room?? I insisted. Eventually they relented. The changing room was perfect (and empty). But not good first impressions. - Returning from dinner, I was surprised that there is no evening turn-down service. I went to bed just before 10pm (I had been travelling) and did not think to put up DND sign because I was getting up at 6am and receiving room service breakfast. The turn down service came into my room just after 10pm when I was in bed. That is bizarrely late IMO (note that Yerevan is a late city with limited morning activity). - Room service breakfast was delicious except that orange juice was in a bottle. In Armenia, fresh OJ is available from any roadside stall. Surely the kitchens of the Alexander can produce it for breakfast? The hotel is expensive. It seems to be priced with the diaspora in mind who will not be surprised by NYC or Paris prices. For example, the $200 per hour for a massage is really extreme in this part of the world. I have no doubt about their claim to be the best hotel in Armenia, and I appreciated the luxury and service after some challenging travels through the Caucuses. However, I do think the management should get a grip on the service/value balance.

It’s a nice hotel in Yerevan with great service. But the hotel is overpriced and rooms are not really specious. In my room I didn’t have a bath and the shower was so tiny it was even hard to get a shower. Also there was no shelf to put sofa or bath amenities. So I had to keep it in my hands. How is it possible for the best hotel in Armenia? What I really liked is the soundproofing. Hotel is located in the city Center and it’s not quiet outside but inside the room it’s so quiet. That’s brilliant! Breakfast is superb. Pool and jacuzzi are great as well. Valley parking is available what is really uncommon for Yerevan, that’s great option. Location is amazing.

WOW!!! This hotel stands out immediately by the impressive Guest Room Interior's. Everything is of the highest quality possible, including the workmanship in the finishing details of the rooms and public areas. One can confidently say that this hotel has the potential to be among the best in the world. The vast selection of high-quality entertainment, dining and wining, swimming and fitness and strolling to the nearby city center, makes your stay worthwhile. I was highly impressed and will certainly recommend this hotel and return soon for business and for enjoyment at it's best.

AWFUL MANAGEMENT!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! I cannot stress enough on how disappointed I am with this property. Considered one of the best hotels in Yerevan, they managed to completely ruin their reputation in one day. My weddin took place in Yerevan on August, and I had one of the deluxe rooms booked with them for the photoshoot and filmography. I visited them 1.5 months before the wedding day to confirm my booking and ask permission for my wedding photoshoot around the territory of the hotel, lobby, and rooms. They've told me that, typically, they do not allow it, but will make an exception. Grateful for their kind gesture, I added another room (cancelling another hotel I had booked). Fast forward to the wedding morning, the photography crew arrived as scheduled at 10AM, and they were not allowed upstairs by the reception workers. They kept calling me and telling that no prior arrangements were made so they cannot allow the filmography. I tried explaining that when I booked the rooms and I asked multiple times if we could film in their property, and since I was told there will be an exception made (quoting: don't worry we'll make an exception), I did not think that further discussions were needed. I paid over a $1000 for a night in a room that I was only gonna use for photoshoot purposes. Because of their incompetence, We started the photoshoot an hour and a half late, were late for church, and almost got denied of our service. My wedding morning was completely ruined!!!!!!

Reviews From Real Travelers
I love this hotel. It is flawless. The pool was fantastic and staff were very professional. Try to ask for a room facing the main square. The only hiccups were that the hotel wanted to charge me for early check in. I did NOT like that and refused and something surly and was able to check in early free of extra cost!! The drinks were also kind of pricey at the hotel but if you go across the street they are half the price. I used the hairdresser at the hotel spa and for $40 I washed that gray right out of my hair!!! This hotel is very new and is in pristine condition!!! I would stay there again if I was ever to return to Armenia !!!

The location of the hotel is particularly good, just on the edge of the Republic Square, two or three minutes walk from the National Museum, and you can see the music fountain program every night. Hotel facilities are general, that is, China's mid-range hotel level. The breakfast is very rich, and different local fruits are provided every day. It is recommended to try apricots and sime, which is very sweet and breaks my daily understanding of this fruit. 👍👍

A truly beautiful 5 star boutique hotel located in the very centre of Yerevan. Me and my daughter stayed there twice, both times for a considerably long period of time and our experience has been beyond our expectation. Superb conditions, very friendly, approachable and welcoming staff. The rooms were exceptionally clean, luxuriously decorated, gym, spa, massage rooms - everything of highest standard and everything you would really need. The restaurant, located on the 11th floor, was also beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, the restaurant staff welcoming. Truly Armenian hospitality! We stayed in separate suites with a door between the two as well as entrance doors. Mine was probably the bigger one with a king size bedroom, a large living room, 2 bathrooms and a huge lounge with a little kitchenette/dining area. Very spacious and luxuriously decorated, it does feel as if you are in a real palace. I highly recommend this special hotel in the heart of Yerevan city and would like to thank all for making us feel at home during our stay.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I wanted to express my pleasant surprise during my stay at your establishment. Despite encountering negative reviews, I'm unsure why they exist, as the hotel management seems to have reflected upon the feedback, made staff changes, and executed excellent improvements. The hotel staff was remarkably attentive and considerate. From cleanliness and amenities like bathrobes, towels, and napkins – everything was genuinely pleasant, well-kept, and clean. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, catering to any appetite and palate. One delightful note to share is that we casually mentioned my girlfriend had said ”Yes,” and shortly after, we received a thoughtful gift. It may seem like a small detail, but it added an incredibly pleasant touch to our experience. The in-house currency exchange with a favorable rate was a convenient feature. Stepping into the hotel from the street created a truly comfortable, homely atmosphere. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful weekend.

Visited this hotel as a family with a baby. The suite we booked turned out to be much smaller than what we expected for the price payed, as there was almost no area to walk with an active one year old. The interior which was almost fully black did also not help, the windows were also darkened and very dirty which made our view to the well known Northern Avenue street quite unpleasant, unless we opened the windows for a much clearer view. Infront and next to the hotel were girls/hostesses with uniforms working (nor sure either part of MIS restaurant or staff of the hotel itself) who did not shy away to flirt with men who were walking in and out of the hotel. Also my husband was heavily and awkwardly being stared and trying to be talked to by a certain woman working here while he was standing infront of the hotel. It seems as if it gives the hilarious impression that any visitor who books for this hotel (which costs only around 100 dollars a night) must be a millionaire and this clearly attracts a certain crowd and even staffmembers of the hotel that like to behave in a shameless and unprofessional way. This is unacceptable. Luckily we had only booked for a few nights, but if you are booking for a week and you need your clothes to be washed for you, this will cost you almost 7 or 8 dollars per piece of clothing. We have stayed at much more luxurious hotels where this price was offered for a whole or small pile of clothing to be washed. Quite expensive and overall not a family friendly stay. I honestly do not recomment this hotel.

This hotel has a noble feel! The friends who went there fell in love, saying they liked it more than Ritz-Carlton in Santa Barbara. I heard that there are many swimming pools, but we only saw one. The hotel grounds are too big, take a walk and take a look. If you are a golfer, you will love the environment more! Its daily activities are also very rich. We participated in a qigong meditation at 9:00 in the morning, and it felt very good. There are free yoga classes and the like. Not boring There are some restaurants to eat and drink ten minutes drive from the hotel. The environment is also super nice in that area, and it feels like a rich area. A hotel worth visiting. I will visit again!

This is an old hotel with rich cultural background, all the staff are very friendly, the room service is timely and in place, the bedding and mattress are very comfortable, the breakfast is not to mention, the weekend menu will be replaced with the brunch menu. All the above advantages allow me to tolerate the only disadvantage of zero view from the window. Parking is valet, there is a cvs at the door, and there is a taco that ranks first in the United States within five minutes' walk, which is pretty good, but there is homeless on the roadside

The location of the hotel is very good, just opposite the Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum. The room is very new and comfortable, the hotel facilities are good, the gym is big and has a view, relatively speaking, the outdoor swimming pool is too small, the length looks like only ten meters. There is an Italian restaurant on the 19th floor on the top floor, which is very good. Half of the seats are indoors and the other is outdoors. There are many customers, so you need to book in advance

The hotel is located in the city center. In the gas lamp block, there are many red men and women every day. There are very few Chinese people. Many foreigners should come to vacation. After paying for Ctrip, they will have to pay the resort fee after check-in, which is about 40 dollars a night. But the other us grant, which is relatively resident, has a price/performance ratio and will not stay in this hotel. As a hotel, professionalism is a little lacking. The facilities are just like American hotels. Basically, all of them need to be equipped and there is no hot water bottle.

Overall good. It would be nice to know that unlike other hotels, there is no refrigerator, bathtub, or body wash. I ate breakfast every morning, but the breakfast was not a buffet, and I used the cafe and restaurant on the first floor of Indigo. The taste is about 3.5 points. It's about $12-18, but if you don't have many families, there are many brunch shops around, so it's recommended to go out and eat. It's 30 dollars per person for breakfast, but it's already paid, but at the breakfast restaurant, the price of food is around 10 dollars, so you can order one at a time. I think it was more because I was looking forward to breakfast. Anything else is good. Sound insulation will be fine if it is not very sensitive

I found that there were hair on the towels and no shampoo, but they could all be resolved. The room is large, has a microwave oven, is close to the road but has good sound insulation, new facilities, breakfast is better than the Sheraton at the back, but the serving time is shorter. Now I figured it out. The hotels with the suffix BY marriot, byhillton, by, etc., are not the big room wives of these big hotels. They just put a name, but sometimes they are more real. The hotel's strength is concentrated on accommodation, eating, and safety. , Easy access and other core areas, not the appearance of the lobby, bar, and service staff

This was a fantastic location on the water front with several restaurants within walking distance. It was clean and very well maintained and the staff was very helpful. A pretty large resort, but with personal attention by the staff. Ground were well appointed. The rooms were very well appointed, beds comfortable, people serving us were pleasant. Would never hesitate to recommend the place. Can't wait to go back. My only complaints as follows - the one bartender at the Tequila Bar definitely wasn't into serving people with a smile. I asked him what beer he had available and he said ”some domestics and some imports”, turned and walked away. That was a turnoff. The other people who served us over the 3 nights were all fine, but not him. Also, we were on the 15th floor, yet surprisingly we could hear conversations down in the pool area, and especially the music playing. I found that as being a little odd. That is the only reason for dropping it down from 5 stars.

There is only one restaurant in the hotel, which serves an American à la carte breakfast. The hotel location is good, in the middle of the gas lamp area, there are many restaurants around, suitable for food. 3 minutes walk to the tram stop. We loved the location. Family of four with 2 kids ages 9 & 10 loved the different pools and husband and I enjoyed the fire pits by the pool. The rooms were modern and up to date. The beds were not comfortable and the lack of pillows made it hard to sleep for someone who is used to minimum of 2 pillows per person.
