"Hyatt Regency Sofia is located within the heart of the city on Vasil Levski Square. It is ideal for exploring and encountering a modern city surrounded by authentic Eastern European history. Set within walking distance of many of Sofia’s cultural institutions and tourist attractions, you are never far away from an unforgettable experience."
"It’s a good hotel, but there are some details for a 5 stars hotel. The spa is small and the water where not so clean. The rooms were comfortable, but our bathtub was spilling water all over the floor. The breakfast is not so varied, and the worst is that the coffee takes long time to arrive (despite there are not so many people) and you have to pay the second one! Clean rooms. People is neutral, not always welcoming and smiling. It has an external restaurant very elegant in the first floor (so book before you don’t find a table) and a rooftop bar with a nice view where you have breakfast as well and good food for dinner." "I was positively surprised by the upscale design, interior, friendlyness of the staff and the excellent food and drinks I had. The rooms are spacious and all interior is of outstanding quality. I can definitely recommend the roof top bar and restaurant. Looking forward to my next stay at the Sense Hotel." "Noise, caused from small building works that started at 9 AM, just a few meters away from our room. Leaking shower due to the zero protection of the tub glass. Breakfast in the exact same area (9th floor), where rooftop bar clients had smoked just a few hours prior breakfast time. Totally inadequate waiting service: waitresses who don't speak Bulgarian, but instead of explaining to you so in English, they simply turn their back on you, so you find yourself constrained to ask twice for the same thing other two people from the staff. Inadequate reception service at check-out, except for the great, middle-aged guy, who helped us with our luggage. First and last time here."
"Location, environment vision is super good, business travel is good for early flight (15 minutes drive to the airport) staff are professional and enthusiastic, breakfast is rich" "The location is very good, closed to St. Alexandra Chrich, nice services and breakfast." "pretty good. Living environment, facilities and everything is very good."
"From the beginning the receptionists were very polite, we arrived late at night, they fulfilled all the papers by themselves, made it very fast. The room was very clean and had a perfect view on beautiful Sofia with its mountains, nature and buildings. We have very difficult days now and the view from this window was our family therapy time. It's beautiful. The hotel proposed to their guests the best breakfasts ever. We are working in tourism with my husband and have traveled a lot. In Hilton Sofia are the best breakfasts, the variety is big and the quality is high. " "Because of the meeting, the price has skyrocketed many times, but it is really convenient to go to the opposite side for a meeting. It is a good hotel under the local economic conditions. It is very convenient for the front desk to help you rent out. The automatic currency converter exchange rate is very high." "It is said to be the best five-star in the area. It is opposite to the Cultural Palace Conference Center. It is very convenient for meetings. According to the domestic five-star, the swimming pool is very small and the breakfast is not bad."

"Breakfast is a bit old, but the location is very good. In the evening, you must go out and sit in the bar street next to the house to eat and drink, but in fact there is nothing fun in the whole city" "OK, no breakfast. Add 15 euros, eat buffet, not bad. Environmental sanitation is better. If you are on a business trip, you can choose. The price is also relatively affordable. I will book this home next time." "The long history of the elegant environment is very high"
"Due to work reasons, I stayed at this hotel for almost a month. This hotel is a relatively old hotel in Sofia. I heard that the owner is Turkish and the hotel is located between the city center and the suburbs. The old facilities without renovation, it feels like the 1990s in China, or the old state-owned hotels in third-tier cities in China. Although the facilities are old, they are still clean. Later, I added some money to the newly renovated rooms, and it felt more fashionable Yes, there is a casino downstairs. I heard that it is the largest casino in Sofia. I played it twice and went back after winning some money. The hotel breakfast is quite good. The Europeans feel dominated. I have lived for nearly 30 days, and the pattern does not change every day. I have eaten up and vomited. In short, it is good to live for a few days. (The green tea and pickles in the picture were sent to me by local Chinese friends)" "Advantages: high cost performance, rich breakfast, good service, many services, good surrounding traffic, the train station is opposite, live performances in the hotel, large rooms, hotel location is OK, more than 10 minutes walk to the city center, Count as safe
Disadvantages: Outdated facilities, the whole Sofia is a bit depressed, there are very few Chinese tourists, but the locals are cheap, fast food is only 2-3 euros" "The hotel is located one kilometer away from the center of Sofia. There are several Chinese restaurants about 1.5 km away. There is a large supermarket hotel room that is clean and tidy in 10 minutes, but the facilities outside the room are average."
"I loved my stay here. I was on a short business trip to Sofia, and I found everything I needed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff was always helpful, the fitness room thoroughly adequate, the food was delicious -- the restaurant has an excellent chef, and it's a pity that it's not widely known and used, at least in January. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Sofia." "Good buffet breakfast, good wifi, central location, comfy beds in quiet room, and very good bathrooms. There were other services but I was part of a tour so I didn't have time to use the spa or the pool," "I have booked many times, the room is very large, and a large plate of fruit was presented. Well located in the city center. Downstairs are small cafes and pubs, satisfactory choices, recommended."
"The Sofia Residence Boutique Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Sofia Residence Boutique Hotel offers a pleasant stay in Sofia for those traveling for business or leisure. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Sofia Central Railway Station located approximately 3km away and Sofia Airport roughly 5km away. In addition, SU St. Kliment Ohridski Metro Station is just a short walk away. Guests will find Sofia Theatre, Citysightseeing Bulgaria and Questhouse just a short distance from the hotel. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Sofia hotel provides parking on site. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate. "

A very comfortable hotel on the edge of the city centre. About a ten minute walk to the main shopping area. The metro station is a two minute walk from the hotel and the line connects to the airport. The immediate area around the hotel is a bit run down but there is a good shopping mall within a five minute walk. The hotel has pleasant staff, one of the male receptionist in particular was very friendly and informative. The room was large and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and was serviced daily. The bed was comfortable and the marble bathroom was also pretty good. Breakfast at the hotel was varied with a large cold offering and a small cooked section with bacon and eggs. There is a good swimming pool and gym. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar so can’t comment on these. All in all a good stay and for the competitive price we paid I would recommend this hotel to travelers.
The hotel is clean and comfortable, the security work is better, the front desk staff is very patient, the room is clean and tidy, and the environment is very nice. I look forward to seeing it again next time!
We stay in this hotel already for 5 times. The reception staff some of them is very nice, but is one of them really rude, we ask for top floor, and not evan once we get a high floor, another thing is none of the welcoming you when you arrive, is like you don't feel welcome. Really strange , they work with people not with sheep . The breakfast is very good and the room are quite ok, the cleaning is also ok , but the blonde one avoid to clean . Please stop using this perfume that you are putting in the elevator and near to the rooms , is just awful.
Breakfast is good! Air conditioning is not too cold, looking for the front desk brother is also actively helping ~ the next day someone has come to repair! Good attitude! The location is close to the train station, and it is more than 20 minutes to go to the restaurant area where you don’t have past attractions or lively spots.
The hotel is very close to the airport, it is very convenient, the hotel's various facilities are also very cost-effective. Before the business trip, I found a good hotel in Ctrip, the distance is very close and the hotel price is also very suitable. Considering this hotel comprehensively, there is no disappointment, Meimei Take a break for one night and start the next day's itinerary. The hotel can be set in advance before you travel.
The location is very good, walking distance to the city center attractions, subway bus station. Suitable for Chinese people, there are hot water bottles and open kitchens, kitchen utensils and kitchen appliances are complete. The breakfast is hearty. Ctrip has a preferential price for Chinese guests, which is great value. The waiter is friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is good. The room is also comfortable enough. The heating is very warm and warm. There is no noise. Sophia is not big, and can go anywhere. You can get to the train station after a big road from the hotel.
I booked a junior suite with Sveta Sofia Hotel through Booking.com for 5 nights. Having seen the photos and the well drafted advertisements I had the impression that I would manage to relax for a little with my wife, away from our daily routine. The ‘’junior suite’’ which we booked at this so called 4* hotel had no iron or safe. If you would like to have a safe you should ask the reception to offer you one at the reception area!!! The mattress was very old and sloping, thus you could not relax. The armchair was very old too and uncomfortable. In the room there was a kettle to boil water and prepare tea or a coffee but the coffee/tea amenities were never replenished. Even the used cups had to be cleaned by the guests. I stayed in this room for 5 nights and unless I washed and cleaned the cups and glasses myself, they would not be washed by the housekeeping staff. The walls between the neighbouring rooms have no soundproof at all. One can hear the exact words the neighbouring guest says! One can also hear the snoring of the neighbour or his walking around. Imagine what happens if his TV is on! Definitely, I will never return to this hotel or recommend it to any people I know. The owners are interested in getting the advance payment (so as not to be able to leave the hotel after you realise the actual situation) rather than acquiring loyal and repeated clients.
The Rila Hotel is an old hotel with old facilities, shoe box size elevators but in a very central part of the town near to everything. Our first night we stayed in a standard small room ( I think it cost $46 maybe $50 with taxes etc )that was not satisfactory. The next day for $10 - $12 per day upgrade we moved into a double size spacious/suite room with 2 balconies !! Very nice to sit out on the balcony with the afternoon setting sun and to wash out a few cloth items and let the sun dry them. Neither of the rooms had shower curtains in the bathrooms. When i enquired about this I was told this was done because of covid. Hhmmm not sure how a shower curtain has any bearing on covid ? We stayed a total of 7 nights and only once, after I called down to the front desk, did a chamer maid come up and take out the garbage and change the towels. To be fair my girlfriend has a habit of spreading all her things all over the 2 rooms so we hesitated to make a fuss. I can imagine a maid being shocked to walk in and not know what to do in all the mess. Breakfast cost extra and was only ok but enough to start the day. There was a large flat screen TV which we never turned on, there was no safe deposit box in the room but we were able to leave our valuables downstairs at the front desk. There are other hotels also nearby that are probably more renovated and modern and most likely cost a little more. On our next trip we most likely will see about other options. The staff was friendly and helpful. I guess it depends on what your expectations are but for us it worked.
i highly recommend this hotel. amazing location on the main street of Sofia where there is everything you need. excellent service and perfect care spacious and clean rooms with nice designs and decoration cozy atmosphere and very very helpful receptionists varied breakfast but if there are less than 10 people in the hotel, there is no buffet, you need to order a la carte if i go back to Sofia, i will definitely stay again in this hotel because it is situated perfectly better than all the other 5 stars hotels

The hotel's location is close to a metro station and just one block next to the pedestrian street that takes you to many restaurants and stores.
The hotel is clean, and they put an effort to provide you with the best guidance when you ask them.
The breakfast is delicious, and they have options that may suit you. We loved the breakfast time as they offered different types of coffee and more.
I strongly recommend the hotel for families and couples as it is in a quiet corner next to many good restaurants and bars.
