Close to the airport which is highly convenient. I just wish they had more basic amenities like Tissues and bottled water at least. Comfortable bed. The only other issue was being able to get hold of the hotel from this app and also arranging a shuttle to the airport the next day. We were told we'd be given transport and then on the morning we were told they over extended their services so we had to catch an Uber instead. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend as an overnight stay to catch flights.

Very helpful staff. Lovely grounds and room. Breakfast was very nice. Didn't bother us but can hear planes overhead. But we wanted to be close to airport, so that's what's going to happen. Great having courtesy airport pickup especially in an unknown place. Love they have coffee and tea 24/7 in the dining area plus a pool room with lounge. 24/7

After the starters were cleared, there was a long delay before anyone followed up regarding the main course. Even after ordering, plates were not brought in time, and the overall pace of service was unusually slow. Under such circumstances, it was difficult to understand the reason for the delay. The experience left a negative impression and fell short of what would be expected from a hotel of this standard. 我曾协助客人在该酒店预订了四间大床房，但其在酒店餐厅的用餐体验并不理想。 用餐期间，餐厅几乎处于空置状态，仅有我们一桌客人，但服务流程却明显缓慢且缺乏跟进。前菜结束后，长时间无人询问主菜安排；即便完成点单，餐盘也未能及时提供，上菜节奏明显异常。 在客流极少的情况下出现这样的情况，实在令人费解。整体体验未能达到该酒店应有的服务水准，留下了不佳的印象。

We arrived late into Johannesburg from our flight from Dubai and were too late to catch our onward flight to Cape Town, so planned a night at the Intercontinental as it's proximity to the airport was so convenient.  It really was an easy walk from the terminal.  The beds are comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.

This hotel is directly connected to the airport and, despite having only three floors, boasts a very large number of rooms. Johannesburg Airport is convenient for travel within Africa, so I frequently use this hotel for layovers. Since the airport itself is safe, it's very convenient. I always travel with a suitcase, and the hotel is so expansive that walking through the carpeted corridors can be a bit of a trek. The only inconvenience is that some rooms have refrigerators while others don't. Otherwise, everything else is fine. I'm sure I'll continue to use this hotel in the future.

Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is perfect for a short layover in Johannesburg or a night before an early morning flight. Shuttle bus to and from the airport are frequent and convenient (running at 30-minute intervals and generally on time). There are other airport hotels which may be closer to the airport and all shuttle buses run from the same bus terminal. This bus takes around 7-8 minutes to reach the hotel from the bus terminal. Room amenities are abundant, and the water kettle is kept reasonably clean. Hotel gym is well-maintained and a good place to work out before long flights. Staff are professional and friendly.

I have stayed here twice now before a flight, and have been very impressed. Great value for money and the staff were very helpful. I also had a lovely massage in the spa and had dinner in the restaurant. They were even able to do a load of laundry at short notice. The only downside is that there are not enough plug sockets next to the bed.

While the property itself is a little dated, it honestly fades into the background because the staff service is exceptional. From check-in to departure, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the entire stay feel effortless. The complimentary airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes and was perfectly on time, making transfers to and from OR Tambo stress-free. And the breakfast — wow. Easily one of the highlights of the stay. A generous spread, well prepared, fresh, and honestly to die for. The place was very affordable, very clean, and very accommodating. I was traveling alone and was kind of scared, but the driver made me feel really safe - he was so chatty and nice, LOL. The room is beautiful, and everything was just great. PS: when you book, you also get the shuttle service; forgot to do it but they came to fetch me anyway, which was really nice of them, thank God!
