We stayed at the JW Marriott in June 2022 for a family vacation. Cons: The first night I woke every hour from the bed as it was extremely uncomfortable and hurt my back. I could feel the springs and woke up in pain. The next day they put a mattress topper on it which made it bearable but still the worst bed i have slept in in a hotel. I stripped the bed one night as my son had an accident and was disgusted to find the mattress looked old, dirty and sunken in. It really let down the whole room (which was otherwise gorgeous). I had ordered loose balloons for my Mother in laws birthday for her room upon arrival. These were just dumped in the room in a bunch and not actually untied losing the effect and making it a waste of money. Pros: The pool area is amazing, the cocktails are great and the whirl pool is warm enough to swim in even in winter! The pool with the fish was slightly cooler but I am told still heated. There are waiters that will bring your drinks to you and take your order. The sandy area is great for toddlers. Food & Drink at Chapter & Verse is amazing and the service was great. Misono is well worth a visit and was our highlight! Buffett breakfast has everything you could want however I have stayed at another Marriott hotel that allowed you to order your eggs to order. This would be a welcome addition here. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Robert, Georgia and Johnathan. We had connecting rooms which was awesome but the door does open outwards and take up a lot of room in the small hallway. If you are not a member of Bonvoy it is well worth joining up at the beginning of your trip. Overall it is a beautiful hotel and we would return, however the bedding situation really let it down and needs to be upgraded.

We stay with JW Marriott for 1 night. The services are excellent, special thanks to front desk: Charles (and his manager!) and Concierge: Chris! They are really professional, and think for the customers. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, we are so lucky to be upgraded to the junior suite! The view is amazing (facing the pool and beach)! We have took many photos at the pool side, the view is fabulous! We really love the facilities and declaration around the pool and beach! We have dinner in Misono (Japanese restaurant) in the evening. The teppanyaki chef: Jeff is super funny and really good at entertain us. We are like watching a show while having dinner! We will definitely stay with JW Marriott again when we travel to Gold Coast!!

The room was not as big as the description, and the overall look was very dark, so the whole room seemed a bit worn out. In addition, Ctrip's room description includes breakfast, but after many inquiries and communication with the hotel front desk, I said that there is no corresponding provision. Although Ctrip finally reimbursed me according to the invoice, the hotel and Ctrip, a third-party platform, made a mistake and finally affected my mood. Overall a failed check-in process. Although the hotel environment is good, but the location is far from the beach, which does not meet my choice of location.

if you like a nice swimming/spa & gym facility, and also a special lagoon where you can snorkel to view some marine fishes, do consider this accommodation. was surprised that my package did not come with complimentary breakfast. During my 3-day stay, did feedback on the 1st day that the bathroom shower was leaking, and somehow the leak slipped out of the bathroom (and there were many black stains within the bathrooms), however, there wasn't any improvement from the hotel. From a 5-star hotel, was expecting to be given dental and shaving kits, but they do not have. Anyway, their staff had excellent services.

We phoned prior to find out parking options. They said no valet. We arrive and sure enough, there’s complimentary valet parking for guests. This was a pleasant surprise. The lady at reception was not especially helpful. We requested an early check-in during booking process. We arrived around 2 hours prior to normal check-in and were told our room wasn’t recently. We paid extra for breakfast, $100 meal credit and late check-out. The receptionist twice mentioned a $50 credit - not sure why? Our lunch meal at restaurant Nineteen was excellent. Fresh oyster journey, moreton bat bugs and dessert. An extensive wine list including by the glass. The infinity pool on level 19 looks amazing. Given more time, we would have used it for sure. We booked the stellar room. The room itself was spacious and luxurious. King bed. Separate living/dining room. Both with large TVs. Bath tub. Monsoon shower. Bath robes and slippers. Smart lighting and curtains. Large balcony with 180 degree view, albeit ocean view mostly obstructed by other buildings. Mid afternoon, we received a random knock on the door. It was the turn down service. We didn’t oblige. Reception had failed to mention this. We ordered room service for dinner. Uninspired menu. Burger and fries took around 45 mins. It was warm at best. And very over priced. There was some loud-ish dance music being played in the shared corridor, over the in-house audio speaker system. Poor choice. We could hear it while watching TV in bed. Fortunately, the next sound track improved around 2300h. Breakfast was pre-paid. We were handed a memu and told we could order what we wanted. Juice, tea or coffee and a main. We ordered crab omelette and some sides. We were unexpectedly charged extra for the sides. It wasn’t explained to us. Thankfully, check-out was simpler and smoother than check-in. Concierge and valet were on point. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but for the price tag, don’t think it represents fair value - we’ll unlikely return.

I took my family to stay at the darling for two nights 12-13 Sept. (We had three rooms). The rooms were beautiful, the staff were attentive and very helpful. A big shout out to Shanelle on the front desk , as well as being super efficient she made us feel very welcome . Overall we had an excellent experience.

Most mornings I walk past the Langham Broadbeach gold coast, with my dogs and often comment, that I should stay there and see what it is like. So I bit the bullet and booked a room. And a reservation at Tang Court for lunch. From the moment we stepped out of the car, it was a superb atmosphere, and dripping with friendly service. Check-in was a breeze and we were given a full run down of the hotel. That was the only moment of regret, I didn't pack my swimsuit so couldn't get in the magnesium pool.....but I will go back for sure. Up to our to the room and it had the biggest bath, so bugger the magnesium pool. stopped by the lobby bar for a pre-lunch drink and service was quick and accurate. Then on to level 3, where we are greeted as though we are long lost friends and taken to our table. The food at Tang Court was next level and I even got a doggy bag.......so much food. Not cheap, but worth every cent and the experience. After our very long lunch it was back to the room to drop off the doggy bag and to explore the rest of the hotel. I took my glass of bubbles with me quite expecting to be told to leave it behind, but no, everyone just smiled warmly and I am sure had there been an open bottle somewhere they would have topped me up. As we are locals, I invited family down to check out the lodgings and was met with the appropriate ”ooo and aahhh!!!”. Back to the lobby bar and timed it perfectly to view the fireworks on the beach at Surfers. The bed was super comfy, great pillows and the curtains closed, made a princess sleeping paradise. Next morning it was a toss up to go to the café or the buffet breakfast. Glad we chose the buffet, $59 each and all you can eat. I definitely ate my $$$ worth. Checkout came too soon at 11am, but it was nice to have the extra hour and not the traditional 10am check-out. On checkout we of course were asked, did we have far to go home? not far I said.......about 900 metres. very pleased with our STAYCATION...........thankyou Langham, ill blow you a warm kiss as I walk past this week.

This hotel was gorgeous from start to finish. On checkin there was an issue which I realised was entirely my fault, booking the wrong nights, but the staff fixed this. The common areas on the ground floor are beautiful and there is a lovely (but not overpowering) scent. My room was lovely and I had a great view. The coffee machine was excellent. All room amenities were good. The only thing I didn't like was that the wardrobe is open and in the bathroom. I had a drink on my own in the Palm Court and felt very comfortable. Room service was very good quality. The location on the beach is perfect. The pool looked lovely. I look forward to returning, it is one of the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed in.

The location of the hotel is okay. If you are not traveling by car, it is very convenient to take the bus. In addition, the room is also suitable for cooking and has a full set of kitchen utensils. The bad thing is that the sofa looks too dirty and smells bad, and the quilt on the bed looks old and unclean.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The resort is perfect for families with children. We had a room in the adult pool area, which was very quiet. A few minutes walk from the beach and walking distance from woolworths.

Wonderful bouji hotel with wonderful staff, but a bit tired with a lot of repairs needed. Breakfast was incredible and poolside lunch great value. Room was tired but beds comfy and great view. Indoor pool and sauna advertised has been closed for two years! And the outdoor pool is unheated due to a faulty pool heater again no plan to fix , it is easy to see why Versace is terminating the contract and removing branding . The outdoor pool with sand beach is a nice touch for families with kids Top tip visit the peters fish bar next door for a fab fresh fish and chip dinner , Shopping centre beside is also nice,

Beautiful hotel, hard to find anything to complain about! It would have been amazing if there was a spa - the pool was beautiful to look at, but unheated so not usable in this chilly weather. The restaurants are lovely, staff always very attentive, the buffet breakfast is plentiful (although at $52 a head, a bit pricey!) Overall a really beautiful stay

The room and views were amazing. Property very clean, spacious and overall lovely property. The only problem was a howling wind that rattled the sliding door that kept us awake all night. We put a pillow up against the glass door, we opened the glass door slightly, but nothing stopped the noise. We advised on check out and we were told ”sorry” that's it. No offer of a $50 discount- nothing. $1000 for 2 nights accommodation with one night without sleep....

The hotel is in the heart of Surfers Paradise, many restaurants nearby and just 5 min walking to the beach. The room is spacious and the bathroom is really nice and clean! Also the pool is very nice! The facility of parking the car just paying 25 aud per 24h in and out whenever you want is a plus. I highly recommend this hotel.

It's so convenient to live here! The whole family is very satisfied. The beach is within easy reach, there are various restaurants and shops downstairs, and there are many choices for brunch in the morning. You can get an Uber in seconds. The room is very large, with all the pots and pans available, and the electrical appliances are all from Bosch. I play in the sea every day, and throw the seawater mixed with sweaty clothes into the washing machine. Laundry detergent is provided. The only drawback is that the gaps in the curtains are relatively large. If the weather is fine, you will be woken up by the sun when the temperature rises after 7 o'clock. If it is cloudy, it will be fine. I slept very well haha.

When you go to this hotel, remember its age and be fair with your expectations. Unfortunately, I was encouraged to read other reviews so had a preconception on arrival. Driveway is a bit tight but fair and direct, front desk easy to find and approach, car park still joins the building maybe a little hard to carry luggage through to lift, suggest leave with someone when checking in while you park your car. Lifts quite fast, corridors don't smell, entry clean and tidy to room. Yes, room isn't brand new but an attempt to paint and make clean is visible, couple chips here and there, but whatever, balcony and view is great, we were on the 20th floor, lacking a few creature comforts, but it is a hotel room! bathroom bit dated, but clean, couple wear and tear things, but again think how much you are paying. All in all, a pleasant stay, so go and be open minded, plenty of 5–6-star establishments around if you want top end places.

We booked a last minute trip to QLD as we needed to use a Jetstar credit. This was the only hotel that was available for 3ppl for under $2k for 6nights during peak period. Location: It is in a good spot being only a 20min walk to Cavill and 5min to the beach. The Room: Was very spacious with a nice view from the balcony. Large bathroom and living space but that is where it ends. The rooms are not serviced and if you like one you will have to pay and also pay for more towels, toilet paper, sheets etc. The room we got said it had 1 large queen bed, we ended up getting 1 double and 1 single bed. The Kmart furniture was wobbly and unstable and had no interior design flow. The walls were all banged up with scuff marks and dints. The bathroom walls had dust all over them and patches that were not even painted. The carpet is old and smelt, so did the couch and the pillows which were once white need to go! The aircon was dirty and needed a clean and the swing function was broken and did not work. The tiles and caulking in the bathroom were mouldy and separating as it was obvious that it was poorly done. I also would have appreciated having more than 2 rolls of 1 ply toilet paper for a 6 day stay. The hotel: The reception was open and spacious offering drink and snacks for sale. Also the reception staff were helpful and friendly with each interaction. The pool looked great and was large offering a kids section and a sand pit. The downfall was that the tiles in the kids section in the pool were missing and some pavers around the pool were loose and/or missing. This could be dangerous for unsupervised children. There looks like there was a restaurant downstairs but looked shut down and out of business which is a shame! With the hotel as it is I don’t think I would recommend this place to anyone unless they do some major upgrades and change the day to day operations. This place was not worth the money.

Great location, pool has a bar and table service, staff were friendly and accommodating. Wasn't advised that parking needed to be pre-booked so we weren't able to get a carpark at the hotel. I was one of the attendees for FurDU 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Gold Coast (11 - 15 May 2023), and I was very pleasantly surprised about my time at the hotel itself. Once I got to the hotel, I went to reception, took a little while to check in, the staff were very friendly and quite helpful. They explained to me some of the key features of the hotel itself, also the fact that I was one of their club members or something, and that I had free internet throughout my stay - which was a bonus - hardly ever used it though. As I walked back to the lift I checked my room number - which had a bit of significance with myself (give you a clue: the angelic number). To get to your floor, just simply tap the card on the scanner, then press the floor, only took a matter of seconds before I reached mine, and not long before I had finally let myself into my room. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, as I placed my bags down I took a quick tour of the room to see what amenities I had. The bathroom was quite spacious, a rather large shower and plenty of towels etc (which came in handy). As I'd spent a long trip getting up to the hotel I was a bit on the sweaty side, so I got a quick change of clothes, had a quick shower (make sure the door clicks all the way in - otherwise you'll end up flooding the bathroom floor which is what I ALMOST did). (There's so much positive stuff to write about the hotel - so I'll keep it short) The bed itself, quite spacious, the pillows themselves were plenty enough, I found that I got a good night's sleep, and in the morning went down had some breakfast - a great selection to choose from, be it from hot food, to pastries, cereal and even fruit and yoghurt. Relish (the restaurant) takes care of breakfast in the morning, plenty of space to sit, have as much as you want to eat for breakfast and get out again. Dinners were absolutely amazing, same spot, the staff were quite friendly, very quick to take my order (had the chicken parmi one night, the burger the next), and a beer or two to drink. The next night I went to the restaurant - I pretty much got the same spot where I sat last time, the wait staff even remembered what kind of beer I had from the night before ... now THAT'S impressive, also one aspect about service that I really enjoyed. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, so much so I honestly cannot wait to return next year to experience it all over again .. In all honesty there's nothing at all I can fault the hotel for .. a full 5 * review from all aspects of the hotel, the staff, the food and beverage and everything they've got to offer. So, if you're looking for a place to stay, be it for a short trip away, or a longer vacation, depends on what you're doing, be it visiting the theme parks or the local attractions, I would, without hesitation, highly recommend your stay at the Crowne Plaza Surfer's Paradise, try and get a room with a high floor facing the beach as the views

I booked an ensuite room a few months ago in this place and we were supposed to check in on 26/12. that didn’t happen because of covid so we went later on 28/12 (our booking was from 26/12 to 29/12). we called a hundred times to make sure they didn’t put anyone in our room as we were going to arrive there a few days later. when we got there, the guy on the reception gave us the key to our room and we realized someone was there cause there were bags in the room. after that, the same guy said these people were not supposed to be there and also said they were fully booked and he was going to talk to the manager. then, the manager came to us and said the room was double booked and they were really sorry, only thing they could do was give as a refund. I quickly checked on booking.com if there was a room for that night in Surfers Paradise and all the places were double or even triple the price we were supposed to pay on Backpackers in Paradise. so I started arguing with the manager cause only a refund was not enough, we had booked the room months before that and they simply come to us saying there was nothing they could do, really annoying and disrespectful. good thing was the blonde lady at the reception that came up with an idea to call someone that was supposed to check in the night before asking if they would come so we stayed there for the night (in a room completely different than the one we booked in the first place). we asked for a refund and they agreed. They gave us a refund on 03/01 and on 26/02 they charged $270 from my account without my permission. after calling booking.com a hundred times, we still haven’t got the money back cause they say the hostel don’t authorize the refund. this is really serious. we stayed there in december, then in february they charge money from my bank account and now they don’t wanna give him the money back. besides all that, terrible place to stay. bad management and dirty rooms

This hotel is in a great location and allows you to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the Gold Coast. It is also easily accessible from the Cypress Avenue tram station. There is a coin laundry so you can wash your clothes. The only amenities were two soaps and a small shampoo, so if you're staying for multiple nights, it might be a good idea to prepare a toothbrush, comb, shampoo, etc.

Booked at Tiki appartments for a family holiday and proposal. We booked the one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed as we had 4 of us staying. Apon arrival we expected a fresh and clean room with two beds set up for the 4 of us. Unfortunately it was NOT. We found that the sofa bed was still set up as a couch and no bedding to be found. We also noticed how dirty the room was from hand prints and splatter marks on all the mirrors to mold and dirt on on the floors, walls and bath. Also dead moths lying around on window seals. (Photos attached) After our 2nd night staying, we hadn’t received a room clean. We asked at reception and was told that they only service the rooms if we request it. We requested a clean for the next day but apon arrival the next evening found the room as we had left it. After another attempt of requesting a room sevice the next day we got one. From the 3rd - 6th day of staying 2 of us got quite sick and unfortunately put it down to how unhygienic the rooms were. - Hair dryer was faulty and didn’t work. - Fans only worked on the highest settings. - TV’s didn’t work. ( fixed after someone looked at it.) - Brocken switches everywhere. - Everything was dirty and sticky. -Views gorgeous. - Location perfect. -Pool & Spa perfect. This hotel needs a priority overhaul with maintenance and housekeeping to lift there game. If it wasn’t for the amazing night receptionist Sharna that did everything in her power to make our stay the best possible we would have gone elsewhere. Higher management please fix theses problems, all the reviews are the same over and over again.
