I had originally booked at Hotel Ambassador, but was informed just before my trip that it would not be open on the day. With the support of the Trip.com staff, I ended up staying at this hotel. There was a price difference, but Trip.com covered it. The hotel was in the off-season and there were not many guests, so although I had booked a double room, I was upgraded free of charge and stayed in a suite. The ocean view room had a great view from the balcony. It is a little far from the city center (about 3km) and a little inconvenient for sightseeing, but the hotel itself was clean and the hotel staff were nice. The breakfast was also luxurious and satisfying.

It is not far from the game of the old town rights to get the attractions, and it is convenient to walk. The room was clean and the water was delivered. The only thing to note is that remember to listen to the room number clearly, otherwise it is easy to admit mistakes. It may be unfamiliar with the way Europeans write numbers. It is recognized as 4, 7 and 9. You can't enter the room. You can't go back to the front desk to ask for the right room number and laugh to death.

Great location, view was amazing and room was clean and nice furniture ! -Staff was very absent and you need a key to get in the hotel and in room. we forgot our key in our room and realised after dinner around 11pm and even though staff should be in hotel until 3am : no one was there . We had to contact by phone only but being Canadian we didn’t have a working phone . We almost slept outside. . We got help from neighbour restaurant. - staff supposed to start again at 7 am ; we left at 8 without checking out as again there was no one . - my daughter got her EarPods stolen in our room we could locate them with the Apple app and could see exactly where they were . Again no staff at all in hotel to tell them cleaning person stole. (We are SURE 100% they were stolen as they didn’t leave the room we never brought electronics with us anywhere and the location they were at was 7km away from hotel where we had never been. - they offer steaming service, I wanted to use it but they told my it took 1 week to fet my clothing back .. we were there for 4 days. Staff offered to bring a steamer to my room so I could do it myself . They never brought it… -there was a beautiful terrace on the 4th floor but we only found out about it on our last night . - we wanted to go to a beach and the staff said it was a 45 min walk and that’s only way to go. We walked . Finally when we got there .. we could have takes a trolley for 3euro …. We took it to come back. -

Very spacious rooms with a super comfy XL bed and updated designer toiletries in the bathroom along with the amazing shower. A small but functional rooftop pool and sun deck and lovely garden to have breakfast and drinks. As a designer hotel it might be even better if it were adult only…but I appreciate that is highly subjective.

Excellent stay at Prima Luce. The room was very clean and very comfortable, the Air Conditioning was excellent. Note that on certain nights, there is a nightclub in the same building which does tend to make some noise as you can hear a bit of the thumping of the music. The location was amazing as you are right beside the old Roman walls, restaurants, bars, nightlife, shopping and very close to the beautiful ”Riva” marina. Beaches are a short uber or cab ride away, they are very close. Very comfortable stay and excellent service from hotel staff.

The location of the hotel is very convenient to enter the ancient city. The suite design is stylish and the small terrace can see the clock tower and the sunrise. The bathroom is so big that there is a jacuzzi, but the automatic cleaning function is so loud to scare the parents. It will be better to remind you to be mentally prepared. The Hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere. However, there are a few things one should be aware of before booking: The hotel is in the historic district just about 5 min walk west from the Prominade area. Taxis cannot drive in, so it is necessary to walk in with one's baggage. Also, any excursions will start with a walk out of the area to the main taxi stand. Navigating the area can be a challenge the first couple of times; one MUST have the ability to use their maps app. T-mobile - America has an international plan that give you up to 2G speed unlimited data and texting, but I highly recommend getting a local sim card. Look at the map of the city before choosing this hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking. Furthermore, the office closes from 11pm till 7am. Most importantly, they DO NOT take credit cards. IF you did not pay for the room online, you will need local cash, and you will need it to pay the taxes on the room, and for a taxi if you booked it through the hotel. Cash only. (They do have a zelle option, but I could not get it to work. I recommend cash. Speaking of cash, one should get it from an actual bank ATM as the rates 11% vs the 22-25% some private ATMs charge.) I give the hotel 4 of 5 for comfort, 5/5 for cleanliness, 3 or 5 for location. I'd give this hotel
