We spent 10 days at the Memories Trinidad. The hotel, Beach, Sun and Staff made for a great vacation. The Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Sara (Client service). Rachel, Irenia, Esmeralda and Jose at the Bar. Yanet, Jose at the buffet and especially, Yaimara who kept our room spotless and wanting for nothing. Susie & Mario

We had a great time at Memories Trinidad Del Mar. The resort is older but very clean and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable and, contrary to some other reviews, we always had hot water. The staff are super-friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. As for the beach - it was absolutely gorgeous! We particularly appreciated the huge trees which provided ample shade and the fact that there were always loungers available. For $15 USD, hotel staff took us out on a hobby-cat 10 minutes from the resort for some great snorkling. There's a public beach a few minutes walk down from the resort where we had a fantastic lunch one day at La Perla Negra. We also loved having the opportunity to visit the city of Trinidad (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - which we did twice. There's a double decker bus that goes between the resort and Trinidad four times a day ($5 USD return) - would highly recommend. We've been to Cuba several times before (Varadero, Cayo Coco, Santa Maria) and this location was our favourite. We enjoyed everything about the area and the resort and will definitely be back!

I had a great time the staff was super friendly and the entertainment staff was so awesome and amazing had a great time. The mountains are great for hiking and the beach was clean and beautiful. People are super friendly and nice. Really enjoyed my visit at this resort.

First time I visited Cuba, I enjoyed my stay in Cuba. The staff at this hotel made it easier to figure out what there is to do and what I should avoid in Cuba. The entertainment staff was very friendly and would include us in a lot of activities. I would have missed a lot of activities if it was not for them walking around and advising us about the activities. The food is so so, but that is to be expected from a country with less resources. Even with that the people are very happy, helpful and kind.

Magnificent stay in this Cuban resort that, despite not having an infinite variety of products, provides a high level of service. The workers are smiling and attentive and cleanliness is meticulous in all areas. Every day there are varied activities and the night show is incredible. The public relations staff is constantly aware of customers and their level of satisfaction and does not miss a single detail.

I had a horrible experience at this hotel. I was very hesitant to book my vacation at Memories Trinidad, due to the fact that all my friends and family members warned me about the horrible service and rudeness of the employees. Even locals don’t stay at this hotel. The food was disgusting, power kept going out, and the staff wasn’t friendly at all. The only place with a somewhat decent internet connection was the lobby. I witness a hotel staff member, who I later discovered was the Director, humiliating and disrespecting a couple that was sitting at the lobby. The Director was rude, loud, offensive, he called the patron a degenerate and other miscellaneous insults. At one point, he pointed his index finger at the lady putting his hand close to her face. He subsequently tapped her shoulder with his finger pushing her shoulder back. The lady’s husband became upset and an argument ensued. The couple were escorted outside the premises and later allowed back inside. When I inquired about the individual’s name, I learned that he was in fact the director and the employee that gave me the info was hesitant to give me his full name, she only identified him as “Raul”. I’ve been attempting to make a complaint with Blue Diamond resorts, which owns all the Memories resorts in Cuba, with negative results. If you book your vacation at this place be prepared to deal with a similar scenario if you display your disapproval of their services.

Our 4th time here in 2years the best time ever we had everything we could ask for and treated like royalty the entertainment staff gave me a birthday I'll treasure and more. I have new family here coming back every year like last years birthday and this year the best ,it's now tradition for me to be here for as many birthdays I have left.

We have been at MemoriesTrinidad for 1 week so far and the resort and the staff are wonderful. I have been to cuba 5 times and this resort is the best. Amazing beach easy bus to Trindad. The entertainment people are great especially Yuni. We enjoyed the a la Cartes but the buffet was also good. We especially enjoyed the fresh fish. Today we look forward to the pig roast. We are happy with the room 7120. A nice balcony and our maid does a nice job. We enjoyed ping pong and will try pickleball on the tennis court. A great place.

Very friendly staff, delicious coffee, and wonderful entertainment. My brother and I learned Spanish with a teacher, she made me want to continue Spanish when I get back home! Yummy food as well with a wonderful doorman, waiting to greet you as you come in to dine. Thank you for everything!

Came for a family vacation, had a great time, staff and everyone is very friendly, decided to enrol in some Spanish lessons the teacher was great very friendly helped me and my sister learn a lot in a short amount of time, really enjoyed my time here 10/10, I would love to come back again sometime in the future.

Very nice layed back stay. Our first time in Cuba. Nice small resort. Attached to a superb beach, clean, w plenty of shade. Everybody was nice and helpful. We enjoyed morning coffee at the bar, volleyball, ping pong, Spanish classes. The UNESCO city of Trinidad (easily accessible by double decker bus) was a treat with excellent live music and restos. Will come back.

Hello, I have been 3 nights in this beautiful hotel and the truth is that everything is wonderful. Excellent service in general in all aspects. Thank you to Miss Esmeralda of public relations for her excellent work. Thank you very much to all the workers of this beautiful hotel

Super hotel, I recommend it. A wonderful place for relaxation and rest. Unfortunately, we only chose four days for Tronidad and six days for Varadero. Big mistake. The much-vaunted Varadero doesn't compare to Trinidad. A hotel with clean rooms and varied and very good food. In Havana and Varadero, the food was insufficient, poor and inedible

This was our second trip to Cuba this year and about 15th in 15 years. The first experience this year was Memories Cayo Coco and it was so terrible that Trip Advisor took down my reviews and left a bunch of 5 star fabricated reviews up on this site. We had a great time. Everything was as advertised. We were diamond club and booze had a better selection but it was still just fair. No margaritas. Why would a tropical country have no limes? Staff were mostly excellent although two bartenders tended to ask for things for their "childrens' school". I am not sure what the school would do with jewlery and drink mugs?? There were a few locals begging on the beach but if you ignore them they move on. We tipped our maid everyday just $1US and got fresh towels anytime we asked and always to canned beer everyday for the fridge. Water too. I might go back the 3rd time to Cuba and will consider this resort again. Just one example of how this resort compared to the other Memories in Cayo Coco ... When we checked in at Cayo Coco the room was poor, too many things to list here. I reported to front desk ... staff did not care ... responded "tomorrow new room" meaning go-away. About 12 hours before check out, a manager came to the room to investigate our complaints ... 6 days later! Conversely, In Memories Trinidad, an employee saw me charging my laptop in the lobby. She asked what the issue was. I explained there were no 3 pronged outlets in my room. Within an hour maintenance had installed a plug in our room that fit my laptop. I didn't even ask. Now that is the way things should work! Thank you Sarah
