Stayed at the hotel for a wedding. The entire experience was a complete disaster. I booked the hotel in 2019 for my wedding and find out 48 hours prior that the extras I had booked to accommodate my wedding party were all wrong and not found in the system. I had a 6 hour panic attack because no one could give me answers and continued to put me on hold or tell me someone else would call me back. Ultimately I ended up with what I wanted, but other brides did not. Because of this, while I was getting ready I had members of other bridal parties harassing myself and my group (not the hotels issue, but was a result of their mistakes). Even after the countless issues, the staff was rude day of and gave all my guests a hard time checking in and couldn’t comprehend how to check in people that had multiple rooms under one persons name. Called me mother to ask what rooms they had already checked her in to rather that having that in the system. I absolutely hated the experience with this hotel. The saving grace was that the hotel is very nice and is one of few I found with a full service bar for after the ceremony. I could go on and on about how upset and displeased I am with this experience. I would rather sleep in my car than book a large event here and would warn any bride that their day may get ruined when booking here. The GM, Janice and VP of ops, Stacie did ultimately fix my issues, but being told we may need to split the conference room I booked 2 years ago and that things would hopefully work themselves out hours before my wedding was terrible. I know it wasn’t their fault specifically but I almost expected them to treat us better and comp at least something for us. I can’t exactly blame one person, but ultimately it is the hotels responsibility to fix issues and this was so sub par. If it were me, I would’ve bent over backwards to make it right. Sent champagne or flowers or have a bar credit or something. Instead my guests were given a hard time. Don’t even know how to end this review as it was the biggest mess of my wedding. Luckily I’m go with the flow and it didn’t ruin my day, but I know other brides were furious and in literal tears as I was as well. Such an absolute joke of a hotel. Never ever again

As always I always enjoy my stay at this extended stay America location. The lobby associate/ Front Desk Kameela is amazing! She actually remembered me from my last visit to years ago I really appreciated that. she has supplied me with outstanding customer service, she is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about any needs that I have. Also the young man with glasses that works in the morning, I think his name is Corby? He and the young lady that is with him are also outstanding. Had a weird issue With another customer where she placed her cloths in the washer I was using, they quickly apologized and reimbursed me for two dollars for my washer. My room 321 was clean and in working order. Will definitely return again. every Extended StayAmerica should be the same as this one.

When we first walked in, their was someone standing at the front desk waiting to greet us, unlike most hotels where you have to wait around for somebody's help. We received cookies, which were a pleasant surprise, extremely delicious, and warm. Check in was really easy, the person at the front desk was very pleasant we could tell she liked her job, she was also efficient and fast. The room was very clean and didn't smell like pets or cigarettes, like most hotel rooms do even though they say they are non smoking. We did notice the furniture was outdated and heavily used; however it is  expected, because it is a hotel room. We did not come to sit in the room and look at the 4 walls, we wanted to experience the amenities the hotel provides.     I walked in with low expectations because every hotel I've been to with a pool and a hot tub one or the other does not work. This is even after calling the hotel before booking a reservation we end up being disappointed. I was extremely satisfied when both the pool and hot tub were operational and clean. The pool towels were actually on the deck so you didn't have to go to the front desk to get them. There was an incident at the pool with 3 young teens who couldn't handle a certain kind of substance and the one ended up vomiting and all the girls ran away with out reporting it. When we called the front desk they came quickly and cleaned it up. There was a small fitness center off to the side of the pool and was well kept and clean.  Breakfast was organized, the food was cooked in variation, which I enjoyed, because I do not like my food overdone. The waiter was super friendly and very attentive to our needs they will definitely have my business again.

There are three Chinese restaurants next to the hotel. There are post offices and supermarkets nearby. They are all within walking distance. They are far from the airport and suitable for self-driving. This place is not far from Chicago, but it is safe.

The hotel facilities are general, there are restaurants around the hotel, and it is convenient to travel. It is also convenient to go to Ole. It is also very convenient to call Uber at the hotel. The hotel was nice and the front desk staff were wonderful throughout the stay. In addition to the main hotel staff, the event staff performed in a well-choregraphed effort and handled the conference I was attending well. My Check in was easy and did it on the app prior to flying to Chicago. The rate was good. I looked at the Marriott BONVoy price, and the Carlson Wagonlit rate but went with the actual Conference Rate as it was a better price but all was in about $10-$12 difference. Upon arrival provided my license, got two keys, recognized as a BONVoy member, and was on my way. My room was on the second floor which is not something I would have chosen and the view was the absolute worst. Nothing but the rooftop and Air-conditioning units (you can see in pics). Another thing I noticed were rusty screws in the bathtub hardware and wire rack. I don’t even know that anyone would notice but those details stand out to me. And the bathroom facet was janky. The cold water leaded a bit when turned on and was a bit difficult to turn. If I had not been there working I would have asked for another room but that was only because of the view. The bathroom was not a deal breaker. I did eat in the hotel twice during my stay. The breakfast was really good and I absolutely loved the omelet station. So the room interior overall was really nice. It is what you would expect from a Sheraton, and one thing I want to note is the carpet. I don’t think I have ever commented on hotel carpeting but it was so comfortable. As I was walking around in my socks, I was thinking, this awesome carpeting. Strange, right? The bed was nice and I rested so well. I haven’t stayed in a Sheraton in years and Marriott overall not as frequent as previous years so it was a nice change. The only personal critique Is I didn’t really like being informed I couldn’t have a 2pm check out and that my travel colleague had in front of her. It could have been phrased a little more customer focused, and could have been followed up with an offer for an additional charge or an exception could have been made to encourage future business. I am sure that was just my perception and pride. In the end I didn’t need the later check out, and I was happy with the overall stay. I would recommend the staying here and I like the rooms. I did have a good stay and It was a nice change.

The hotel is very old. There are few floors in hotels in the north and many rooms on each floor, so you have to walk a long way to get to the floor. The room was very clean and cleaned in a timely manner.

We Paid $140 a night all in. The good: quick checkin, decent bag breakfast, comfortable bed, room in good condition, cable tv worked fine, room fridge nice and cold. The not so good: carpet in room was filthy. I only had my shoes and socks off to walk to the shower and the bottoms of my feet turned dirty black.
