Ctrip informs the hotel that the front desk will be off work at 8:00 pm. If it arrives after 8:00, you must first notify. The actual front desk has more than 10 o'clock on the front desk and there are waiters. The parking lot is next to it, the car number is paid on the machine, and the Christchurch area is not big.

No complaints from time really from withe room option I had. One of the toasters was a bit temperamental but they removed one of option due to social distancing as I was there during a stay when people were trying get home. I had a private room for two nights to self isolate and could not fault it really. The kitchen had measures put in to keep people apart as much as possible, the hostel put their pricing plan cheaper than online to make it easier for people to book and priced all dorm rooms the same which was a good touch. I personally left a bit on the spot to try for a flight home which fortunately I got on and after a quick email after arriving back home they stuck to their word at the hostel and refunded me for the two extra nights even though I had essentially moved into that room from that morning. Very organised staff given the circumstances and would recommend to future travelers.

I had a couple of single night stays here on my recent trip. It is very convenient for exploring the Christchurch CBD. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly although it took me a while to understand that she was saying I could buy a "voucher" for breakfast at the cafe next door and not "water". Room had all the facilities required and there are both a small convenience store and a liquor store in the junction area for any extras needed. Took a while to get used to the noise of trams going through but these stop running early enough to get a good night's sleep. Suspect the junction area may be a bit noisier in non-Covid times.

We booked for one night between Christmas and New Years Eve for a family staycation. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a great location with easy walking to restaurants, bars, shops and nearby New Regent Street. The hotel and its rooms are beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches and utter charm. Having requested a roll out bed for our 7 year old, it was such a sweet surprise to discover it made up with whimsical children’s bedding complete with fluffy blanket and soft toys. Reasonably priced, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique stay in the heart of Christchurch’s CBD.

Our standard room has two 1.5-bed beds and 3 breakfasts. The room is large enough for the city center. It is convenient to visit the Museum Botanical Garden and the Avon River. The breakfast is rich and the bacon sausages are fried. It is the most in our trip. Ok, by the way, the city center is empty, no residents are very deserted at night, next time you will choose the Riccarton area, where the popularity is strong.

The location is superb, just behind the cathedral, using a historic building and opening the side door, it took a bit of effort to find it. The hotel room is loft form, downstairs is the living room (with kitchen, all facilities are available), upstairs is the bedroom, the facilities are a bit classic. Hotel parking is charged (20 days). Parking service is provided. The car is just driven to the door (the service is very good, but we are used to self-help instead of this aristocratic service), and then drive out the next day when needed. I also put two water bottles very intimately. Overall experience is good!

IBIS, originally had no hope, but the attitude of the service staff is better than the Holiday Inn in Queenstown where they stayed before. Great value for money. The location is nothing to say, the good can't be better, the retro tram is next to it. Praise

The hotel is super spacious with one big bed and one small bed. Enough for a family of three The big bed is also big enough for three people to sleep. Sanitation is also good, other facilities are the same as ordinary hotels. The stay is quite comfortable, and there is also a sofa and coffee table. If you don't want to go out to eat, it is a good choice to pack it back to the hotel. The hotel has a gym and sauna, but I don't have one. Could not comment.

There is a problem with the website's contact with the hotel. The website has a "windowed" room, but the order received by the hotel is a room. In order not to be a client problem, the customer must report to the hotel. Although the hotel tries its best to assist, Because of the large number of reservations in the past few days, it was finally resolved by "moving rooms" and "raising prices". In addition, the hotel's breakfast is NZ $ 19.5, but the website charges NZ $ 22. My doubt is that the breakfast was originally ordered for convenience, but it was higher than the actual cost on site. What is the reason? ? Although the difference is not big, but two people staying for 3 days, I can eat one more breakfast for one person. Such a website makes me feel insecure.

We stayed for 3 nights with our 5 year old and almost 3 year old in a 2 bedroom apartment on level 5 and it was perfect. Very clean, comfortable, spacious and nice views from the balcony. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. The little milk in the fridge when we arrived was a nice touch. The washing machine worked well and the drying rack meant that I didn't have to use the dryer. We arrived late (after 10pm) but that wasn't a problem. We'd been e-mailed details of what to do beforehand and our check-in information was where we were told it would be. Parking in the secure carpark and getting up to our room wasn't a problem. It's just down the road from the hop-on hop-off tourist tram, so that was very convenient on our first day. It's also a short walk into town. The nearest supermarket was the excellent "FreshChoice City Market" at The Crossings on Lichfield Street. That was quite close to one of the stops on the tram - so we simply picked up our groceries and caught the tram back to the apartment at the end of our first day. (you could also walk it - it's about 1km)
