|1.93km from city centerWe stayed at the exclusive Amahara Wing in a room with our own private onsen. The stay was simply exquisite. Room: unbeatable sea view with our own private onsen bath. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space to lounge about and relax. Onsen: guests have the choice of using any of the various onsens in the whole hotel complex. They were all very good. Meals: I was expecting an amazing experience, and that is exactly what I got. Every single course was great, filled with locally sourced food. Breakfast selection was also very refined. Service: the service was again as good as expected, staff was helpful in helping us too arrange our onward plans. However most staff actually spoke very little English.

4. About the surrounding area: The hotel belongs to the Sumoto area. It is in the direction of Shikoku to the south. You can take the Nippon Maru to see the Naruto whirlpool, and you can also go to the dream stage of Awaji on the way back to Osaka. I thought it could be done there in 1 hour. It’s better to leave it for 3 hours. Awaji also has a small hairy pickle, which is particularly delicious. After we checked out from the hotel, we chartered a car to go to Naruto Whirlpool, to the Dream Stage, and finally back to Osaka. This way, we can reduce the stress on the boat and have a good time.

I asked how much the buffet as I was hungry upon checked in and saw they have food behind the counter. When I was going to find a seat outdoor with sea view, I was chased away by her without even given a menu or a chance to sit down. So rude!! I’m not there for free food or free seat!! I’m paying ok. The room at 2nd floor is blocked by the roof of the restaurant, waste my money for this stay.
