This hotel in Toowoomba is a grand old hotel which has been modernised recently. The rooms are classically styled and very roomy plenty of modern technology. The hotel room felt like new but had modern classic luxury feel in carpets and enquire. The room was quiet and well heated, it overlooked the roof but was really light when curtains are open. The restaurant downstairs was great even when really busy at dinner and breakfast. We checked out and left the car in the car park while shopping at the close Grand Central shopping centre and main shopping area. We will stay here again definitely when in this area.

This is our 3rd stay at the Oaks Hotel in Toowoomba. Check-in was easily done, with my car parked securely away, as the location is ideal to walk to the Grand Central Shopping Plaza and nearby restaurants. Our room on the 5th floor was a comfortable large room, with a microwave, toaster and cutlery. Wedding guests and their running children created hall noise early in the night which settled, otherwise we slept well.

So ended up in Toowoomba on Wednesday 27 September unexpectedly. Needed a place to stay for the night. Checked online and the Shamrock was listed for $150 a night on one of the hotel apps. Didn't have a lot of choice in terms of budget. Rolled up there and spoke to the lovely Kyneisha (sorry if I didn't get the spelling right)... She immediately gives us a sensational smile and says she can do the room for $130... BOOM! THEN she says '...and if you haven't eaten we have 2 for 1 parmy's in the bistro'... 2nd BOOM! So up to the room to drop of kit and straight down to the bistro (Avo and Bacon variety) to be met by quite possibly the BEST avo and bacon parmy I have ever had... huge and absolutely superb, expertly washed down with a couple of pints of black Irish liquid gold. This hotel may be listed as three stars but let me tell you, for a couple of weary travellers, the digs were comfy, the food superb and the service sensational... thank you Kyneisha... we WILL be back.

I'm writing my review from my cosy, very comfy bed on a cold, cloudy Toowoomba winter morning. I had been concerned as the room didn't appear heated but was completely warm. Excellent value for an overnight stay (I'm not sure how I would feel about sharing bathrooms for several nights even though there were several and they were very clean). Well appointed single room - comfy king single bed, bedside table/drawers, desk, teamaking with good green tea (+ Bushell's + nescafe coffee + bottled water), tv, minifridge and wardrobe. Beautiful (nonfunctioning) old fireplace and high ceilings. This is my second stay and I'll definitely be back.

Take the kids to play, I think this hotel is very good in the local area, but it is relatively hot recently, it is not very orderable, and the price is more expensive than before.

Do pay attention, Ctrip is pit, the hotel is good. When booking, pay attention to the apartment and the studio. The Chinese is deliberately turned around, and then I ordered the expensive ones, but the result was more.

I have stayed here before and everything has been exceptional. The owners were away and have a wonderful friendly manager named Erica. Thank you Erica as you made my stay with you equally as good as previous visits. Everything exceptionally clean, great hot shower.excellent bed and own undercover parking bay outside the room. Easy motel to find in Toowoomba. Thanks once again Erica and owners. Great value for money.
