National Day Travel: Although the facility environment is full marks and the transportation is convenient, it is a bit far from the city center. Because there is a lot of luggage from Zurich Airport to the hotel, the traffic needs to be transferred 3 to 4 times to get to the hotel (although it is seamless, but it is a bit embarrassing to get in and out of the car with a large box), and then go to the city center to train the next day To Lucerne, I also need to pour traffic twice. The two people took a big box and lost a lot of mood to see the scenery, so I don't want to recommend partners who come to Zurich for transit. The bathroom of the hotel is glass, because it is an economic hotel, so there is no air conditioning. It feels a bit hot at night, so I can only open the window, which is a bit noisy. But I still couldn't help but admire the beauty I saw when I got up the next morning. The hotel's gym is free of charge. The hotel's toothbrush and toothpaste are charged (5 Swiss francs). A 15-minute walk from the hotel has McDonald's and coop. It is very satisfying to buy a large jar of milk.

Starting from the front desk service, room service, morning breakfast staff ware very welcoming. Room are bit small but ok for me. Not much of the view from window but that didn't effect us as we spend most of the time outside of hotel. Hotel staff provided us early check in like 4 hours before which was very kind experience for us and really appreciate for that. Breakfast had lots of options compare to any other hotels in our trip and we loved it as well. If I go again then definitely I will stay in the same hotel.

Upon arrival at The Flag I was greeted by a friendly gentleman at the desk. He checked me in swiftly and in a matter of moments I was on my way to my room. I booked the Loft (which merely meant I was on the top floor). I was a little disappointed in the room because the pictures on all these websties show the Loft having two sides of the unit with large sliding glass doors on both sides making it a completely open view. Unfortunately, there's only one corner unit up there that is set up this way. The other two units are not corner units and they only have one large sliding glass door and a small rooftop patio. It's not very private up there either as only a bush separates you from the other units. On the opposite corner is a huge clubhouse that they rent out for parties. A total of 4 units are on the rooftop: 1 clubhouse, 1 loft with double sliding glass doors on two sides of the unit, and 2 center lofts with one sliding glass door and a small patio. Comparing it to the lower level units with patios, in my opinion, it wasn't worth the extra money merely having the top floor. Had I known what I know now, I would have saved some money and just went with an Executive Room. Same thing, cheaper price, just not on the rooftop. The Flag is a VIP hotel listed with Orbitz. During our stay the Orbitz VIP perk was free parking. For us, since we didn't rent a car while in Zurich, this perk was useless. However, since we were Orbitz VIPs, the hotel did have a nice hand written thank you note waiting for us on our desk with a huge gingerbread cookie and two beers. That was a nice touch and very much appreciated. Now once inside the room, the room was quite nice. The beds were comfortable, but lacked ample pillows. Some people sleep using two pillows. Some spoon a pillow. Some put a pillow in between their legs. So, only providing one pillow per person was not enough for some of us. The room was large, open, and airy. Bathroom was rather small, but not so small you felt like a sardine. But beware! There's a long window next to the bed without a curtain that gives anyone in your room open views while you're showering or going pottie. There is no airconditioning and I'll be one of the many others that will tell you it gets hot in the room. They do give you a fan, but the only way to cool the room is by closing the metal gate to your sliding glass door while keeping the sliding glass door open. At least at night you can get a cool breeze coming inside your hot room. Our room was equipped with a coffee maker, but the cleaning staff failed to restock our coffees and teas from the previous guests. Only one coffee pod was remaining. And since the cleaning staff only clean your room once every three days, we were out of luck that entire time. When they did come to clean our room (the day before we were leaving), nope, they still did not even restock the tea or coffee. So, the coffeemaker was another completely useless amenity during our stay. The other annoying thing a

I had my stay of 6 nights at this place. Unfortunately upon arrival being very tired from a long stressful day had an accident with the parking gate:(. Thanks to personnel whose shift was at that evening. The lady could manage it and was very polite and understanding. This can happen to everyone in a certain life moment. However, the room I had was very little (I wish I could have a bit bigger to be able to move properly). I don't know if the price we paid was meant to be for this particular room. Every early morning the noise from construction woke me up. The room was no–smoking and it was totally fine for me, but often felt a smoke either from the outside or via air ventilator. The location is ok. Kitchen utensils cost 20 CHF per day what's quite a lot. Maybe breakfast in the future would be great to offer. The place was always clean; the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Price for the room changes a lot based on the period and the available rooms. The walls and floor are old and ruined, if you are at the last floor temperature in summer is too hot. There is no reception, so if you have an issue during the night, like the next room keeping the music on all night, you can choose only between a fight and calling the police. The position is very good. There are better Swiss Star apartments around, but also worse. Again, if price is below 80 chf it is ok, considering the area, but from 80 chf and above you have better options (like adding some few CHF for a normal hotel and sleep in a decent room).

This is the 4th Serviced Apartment that I have stayed at during my 6-month contract in Zurich, and easily the best, On arrival, the room, bedding and towels were pristine. The room is kept that way with weekly housekeeping, when the bedding and towels get changed. For someone working in Zurich, the facilities here are excellent. The en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and fridge I have had in other places, but this is the only one with its own washer/dryer and ironing facilities (not shared like at some apartments, or non-existent like at others). The location is very central, with great public transport close by to get anywhere in the city. I was fortunate to have a front-facing apartment, with a wonderful outlook onto the beautifully kept gardens of the cemetery (the neighbours are particularly quiet), and beyond that, the Uetliberg. All-in-all, a super stay.

Having travelled several hrs from Brussels we were met by a receptionist who couldnt have been less friendly, in fact she bordered on rude. She was head in her computer and hardly acknowledged when i spoke to her. Enquiring into parking she said if i wanted to park in space 1 i could but that was the only one despite there being other spaces available and i had emailed ahead about parking which "couldnt be reserved"! I parked our fiat 500 in a space not designed for cars, moved it twice when the receptionist wasnt happy it was outside of the lines (see photo!) We were then told that we hadnt paid which after a 5 minute conversation the receptionist checked and it had been paid! Finally about 30 mins after arriving we got to our room which was basic and facing a busy road. The shower and toilet were small and the basin was in the bedroom as it wouldnt fit in the bathroom. The bed is basic and one flat pillow each didnt exactly add to the comfort. The carpets were dark and dirty and clearly havent been cleaned for some time. Our room was either attached to or on top of the lift shaft as we could hear the workings of the lift any time someone used it, this went on late into the night. Having spent a lovely evening in Zurich, we returned to the hotel to sleep and reluctantly had to contact reception about the noise coming from several people in the room next door as the walls are so thin. The receptionist told us not to interfere they would deal with it. The noise continued for several hours, added to this was the heating seemed to kick in midnight. I went to the reception at this stage to complain in person about the noise to overhear the receptionist offering a much reduced rate to someone who was clearly arriving late with someone he had met that evening and wanted a room for..... One of the WORST nights sleeps i have had in any hotel anywhere. Such a shame as Zurich is such a wonderful city. In the morning I mentioned we were heading into Zurich for breakfast o be told we would be charged if we didnt not move our car after check out. We returned with minuted to spare, rushing back from a lovely morning in the city to find nothing but empty spaces around our car (what was the urgency to get us out) This was at a cost of 25 euros. The receptionist again had zero manner with guests. A terrible experience and despite having nothing but good things to say to friends and family about Zurich, when they visit i will ensure they do not stay here

Positive points: rooms are modern, bathroom is new and everything is clean - so the basics are given. If you book it you probably know it is not in the center, but the tram stop is right in front of the hotel and you get to the old town easily. The rooms are a bit small, but for me still ok. The problem is they are not so comfortable for various reasons: there is no place to put your toiletries in the bathroom. The TV is on the side from your bed, difficult to watch it from your bed. The mattress is too soft for me, my back hurt in the morning. I am sensitive to noise and the church bells every 15 minutes were a bit annoying. Reception friendly but when I asked if I could obtain the room 2 hours before, they wanted to charge me immediately (this has never happened to me before).

Nice hotel just on the outskirts of the city; it’s a short tram ride into the city (Tram 4) The hotel is relatively new, but still holds that classic Sheraton charm about it. The room we were given was spacious with the bathroom and toilet separate, and a walk-in-wardrobe behind the bed. Bedding was comfortable as were the pillows, albeit a bit too soft to provide any real neck support. Bathroom amenities were good with all the basic requirements provided - a nice deep bath and a shower with good water pressure. The only downside were the state of the towels. unfortunately they were a bit dated, thin, and frayed (literally) around the edges. Breakfast was really good; we enjoyed this. The spread, whilst relatively small is well-curated and selected. The breads on offer are fresh and delicious, along with the cheeses and meat. Considering the produce available in Switzerland, this is to be expected. Every time we went for breakfast, everything was fresh and well stocked. The hot station offerings were also your standard breakfast affair and the made-to-orders were quick and efficient. The staff, on every interaction were genuine and welcoming, and assisted wherever they could. Overall the hotel is in an up-and-coming area (presumably) with not a lot in it’s direct vicinity, all the sights of Zurich are one tram ride away. This is a great hotel to be based at for your stay and we’ll definitely book again if we return to this city

I stayed at Renaissance hotel for 7 nights and enjoyed every moment . The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from the airport, located in an industrial area of Zurich. The hotel staff were very warm, welcoming and attentive from the reception, restaurant staff and cleaners. I had a room on the 8th floor with a great view of the mountains. The room was clean, spacious and quiet, the rooms are quite sound proof so I was able to get a good nights sleep without needing to wear ear plugs. Everyday room service left a complimentary bottle of water in the room fridge which was great to not have to purchase water. The room came with a separate toilet and bathroom and it was a good touch that the toilet had it's own sink. You can get to the tram and train station within 5 minutes walk from the hotel and there is a Co-op convinience store neaby. From the train station, you can catch a train from Zurich Hardbrucke to Zurich Main (central) station which is just 1 stop away. It is cheaper to purchase a return ticket for 8 francs, 50 cents which allows you to return within 24hrs. Zurich is quite an expensive city from the taxi costs to the food. The Taxi's are a standard 55 francs for a 10 minute ride from the airport. Using Uber is cheaper as it cost about 28 Francs. Uber Eats is popular in the area and there are a lot of restaurants to order from if you choose not to dine at the hotel restaurant. I had a great experience staying at this hotel

The hotel was approximately 13 kilometers from the airport and a taxi ride was about 60 Franc. Check-in was easy. ROOM (#4103) The room was nice and comfortable. There was a nice big window. The only issue I had with the room was that AC. When I arrived I turned it all the way down and it never cooled off. I talked to other patrons who had the same issue. More than likely they have it setup where no matter what the hotel controls the air temperature. They also do not have in-room safes for valuables (believe they have one in lobby you can utilize), and there is no telephone, iron and ironing board. For me, the AC was the only thing preventing me from awarding 5 stars as I find it difficult to sleep in a warm room. The room had a bed with 2 little night stands, a couch, small table, desk and chair, closet with hangers and lots of shelves, some regular outlets and 4 USB outlets. BATHROOM The bathroom is setup interestingly. The same door swings one direction to close off the shower and the other direction to close off the toilet. There is also a sink and a hairdryer. The bathroom was clean and everything worked well. BREAKFAST The breakfast buffet had good variety and was above average tasty. They had hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, cheese omelet, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes with cheese, pancakes (waffles another day), breads/rolls/croissants, meats and cheeses, fish, dips, mixed fruit, and yogurt. DINNER Dinner was good. It was expensive but everything is in Zurich. My meal was 34 Franc. It was a whole grilled spring chicken (on bone), and it came with a choice of 1 side (6 options). I chose spatzli as a side which is like a German noodle dish. It was very good. I had a friend who had the skewer (lamb/chicken/beef/sausage) and chose brussels sprouts with bacon as their side and they also enjoyed their dinner (36 Franc). The salad bar (some appetizers, salad, and desserts) was also good. They had salad, pasta, some other dips/hummus and such, bread, and a couple dessert options. GYM/SPA The gym was nice and clean and had a nice variety of equipment. There were also big windows to let in natural light. They had 4 treadmills, 2 stationary bicycles, 2 ellipticals, 1 row machine, cable machine with pull-up bar, a bench, dumbbells from 2-20 kg, leg extension machine, chest press machine, pulldown machine, glutes/thigh machine, chest flye machine, ab machine, and exercise balls. The spa was amazing. You have free access to the sauna, Turkish bath (steam room), lounge area, and ice sprayers to help you cool down after sauna/steam. The place was clean. Unfortunately I did not think ahead to book a massage! OVERALL Overall the hotel was fantastic. The hotel was clean. The employees at the front desk, and restaurant, and the spa were all nice and professional. The room was neat and clean. The restaurant had good food. The spa was amazing. And as I stated before the only thing keeping me from giving 5 s

This hotel exudes modern luxury. A quiet, centered calm. Sophistication. No ornate nonsense, no frills, but real substance. Very much like my experience at the PH Paris. Very well-suited to business travelers versus families with kids or adventure seekers. Room decor is understated - really understated. (Curiously, no desk.) But oh, the bed! The bar was the sole source of youthful buzz and energy, filled with business people at happy hour, and a more stylish crowd later in the evening. Dined alone in the massive (quiet) restaurant and enjoyed surprisingly reasonably priced spectacular meal. Very polished, efficient service everywhere. BTW - the area has little to recommend it outside of proximity to lots of banks and office buildings; it's a 10-15 min walk to the Bahnhofstrasse shopping area.

Room Quality: 3.5/5 Front Desk ( Check in & Check out Experience): 4/5 F&B including IRD : 4/5 Housekeeping of Hotel: 5/5 Vibe : Very young and trendy very W like Amenities: Location is excellent, situated in the heart of the shopping district not more than a two minute walk. Parking is behind the hotel but needs to be paid. One of the most seamless check in experiences ever. So fast and so efficient very well done. Rooms have all the amenities that is required even a very comfortable bed, it’s really a trade off between great location friendly staff and paying for a room that is to be honest tiny. It was a trade off that was worth as we were staying only for a night. Good social areas below to lounge and chill. Would definitely recommend. Thumps up

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Pros of the hotel - - Rooms (including bathrooms) are very well appointed, modern and spacious. The house keeping was immaculate - Service. We we’re checked in by Ms Gut. She was so warm and welcoming and provided excellent induction to the hotels facilities and suggestions for our time in Zurich. - Location. Only a few trams stops from the main station, and about 20 minutes walk from this same station, transport and the city centre were extremely easily accessible. - Hotel restaurant, really good food, ambience and service. We have no cons! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Zurich. Was one of the best hotels for our 3 week trip through Europe.

Absolutely loved staying here for my recent work trip. Very close to public transport and being at the end of the tram line meant it was always easy to remember where to get off. Beautiful views to lake Zurich and into main city. Quiet area which would be well suited to business or families I imagine. Rooms are big enough and have heating to keep you toasty after those long cold walks up the hill and drinks out on the terrace
