A fairly large hotel on a corner plot in quiet residential streets about a kilometre or so from the old city centre. Booking three weeks or so in advance for late June, there were only a few hotels that met our criteria (including importantly easy parking). As we used the hotel as a base for a day trip to Padua by train, it would have been good to be closer to the station, but there was a bus stop just a minute from the hotel from which it took only 10 minutes or so to get to the station. We paid £157 for two nights including breakfast, with parking under the building at a very reasonable 5 euros a day - at hotels in other cities we had had to park some distance away and the cost was more per day than our hire car! Friendly, helpful young staff. Although perhaps not as chic/tasteful as some others we stayed in on our trip to northern Italy, the room was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a fridge, efficient air con and WiFi (usually good, but could be glacially slow at times). Slightly odd gold faux snakeskin fabric on the headboard. Nice bathroom with plentiful toiletries. The shower was pretty weak and took a long time to come to temperature. There was a bar and we had drinks in the evening in the outside enclosed patio area, in preference to the very comfy-looking lounge. We also ate breakfast in the patio area. Breakfast was continental plus, with juice, a couple of cereals, yogurt, basic fresh fruit, sliced meat and cheese, bread and rolls, some salad items and a big selection of cakes and pastries. Also excellent made-to-order coffee and hot chocolate.

We picked this hotel as it had the best reviews. The location is excellent, just off the main street and Teatro Olympico. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. They found bus information, made dinner reservations, arranged for transfer and always had a smile on. The room has all you need but it is extremely small. We had a hard time finding a spot on the floor to open our suitcase. It would be fine for a weekend trip but this was not our case. The bathroom was small but had all the essentials (including bathrobes and slippers) and good water pressure in the shower. Standard breakfast was 10 Euros and it was good enough for the price. It was sometimes hard to find the person in charge of the breakfast room, if for example you needed extra coffee. A big nice surprise was the bar in the evening. A cool place to enjoy a drink or two with a full cocktail list and friendly bartenders.

Wonderful Stay last February. The hotel was dead right in the centre of Vicenza, close to all that the city has to offer. Rooms were wonderful. We were a family of 4 and stayed in one of the larder rooms. Lots of room to move around. Bathrooms spacious and kept clean every day. Breakfast was superb. Decor throughout the hotel is modern and elegant. Would definitely recommend a stay.

What a great find. We had a triple room upstairs overlooking the neighbours backyards, it was great, like being home. B&B is in a good location, a short 10 minute walk from the train station and all attractions are within a 15 minute walk. The room had a balcony with a pleasant view. Room clean, bed comfortable, bathroom was nice and also very clean, with good water flow. The host (Carlo) was great, a nice classy gentleman, who had a lot of pride in his establishment. The breakfast was great, served by Carlo, with plenty to eat and drink. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if back in Vicenza.

Palazzo Scamozzi was an excellent place to stay in Vicenza. It is centrally located & an easy walk from the station. The staff are welcoming & spoke good english. They gave us clear directions & good suggestions for restaurants. Our room was huge & overlooked the bell tower of a church. It was really quiet at night as the windows are double glazed. The breakfasts were delicious & included home made tortes & local delicacies. The only minor issue we had was that the shower floor was very slippery so we had to take extra care. Vicenza is a fascinating city & there was a lot to see & do.

Bus stop is right outside and makes for a noisy evening, but traffic nearly stops after 10:00-11:00. An easy walk to Ederle and several good restaurants nearby who are also accommodating to Americans. Very clean. Washer & dryer and breakfast available for a fee. Family suite includes small microwave, stovetop, and mini fridge with a seating area and table & chairs. Exactly what we needed for a place to relax away from post and still considered “local”. Front desk employees speak English fluently and are very helpful with any questions.

Unfortunately this was not one of a great experience, not because of the quality of the hotel, after all it is a three star, so you can't expect better, but just the attitude of the management. This was not our first stay there, as we are there on business for quite a few years and we know what to expect of the property. Our first major problem occurred on the first morning when we went down for breakfast and posted the Do Not Disturb sign on the door because we left of our personal items out. When we returned to the room, the room was made, much to our surprise. During the course of our stay, everyday we needed to call down for soap or toilet paper, because after the room was made up, it wasn't replaced. The in room safe could not be opened and need to be drilled out of the wall and forced open, but these issues did not bother us, because they rectified the problems. It was the attitude of the management at check out when one of the staff asked how our stay was and I explained the problems we incurred, especially trouble by the fact that someone entered our room when we specifically had the DND sign. The manager's response was a shrug and asked if it happened again and when I said no, her response was "I guess she learned not to do it again". WOW, not exactly what they teach you in Customer Service 101, but to her it was an "I don't care about your stay" answer, because we were there for a business event and if you don't rent the room, someone else will. On a positive note, the front desk staff and dining staff were very helpful, as always.

I came to stay at CityHotel Cristina because I had to be in Vicenza for a week long business trip. The atmosphere is charming, quiet, clean and very hospitable - exactly what I like in a hotel. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. The hotel in general, and including my room, was very comfortable, private and beautifully maintained by the staff. Since I'm here for business, I haven't had much of an opportunity to explore the city, but when I return with my husband for a vacation, we will certainly stay here again.

If you are in Veneto for a business trip - Hotel Verdi Vicenza is a good hotel to stay - Front Desk staff were always helpful - they helped me order a Gluten Free Pizza from outside - Great attitude of the Front Desk Staff. It is one of the best hotels I have ever stopped for two nights. It is quiete, so you can have a good sleep. Confortable bed. Very spacios bathroom. Besides a missunderstanding about the deluxe room at the beginig, we finaly had a good room with all the facilities discribed on the web. The big parking that they have in front of the hotel is not the only one. They have a very secure garrage with closing doors. So you can live most of your stuff in the car if it’s a one night stay. The breakfast was not included in the price but we payed at the reception 5€/ per adult. It was to anyone’s chois (Smoked salmon, ham, cheeses, jams, breads, fruits, yougurts, good coffe, etc.) I will come bak next year!

This well run and friendly apartment house is located about 10 minutes walk from the station. It is very well-equipped - with thoughtful touches like Nespresso capsules and butter pats. If coming from the station, you will pass a good Spar en route. Communication about gaining access worked well. I was upgraded to the Romance Apartment - a surprise as I was alone. I was nevertheless able to enjoy the Whirlpool bath while admiring the scantily-clad females displayed on the wall to get you in the mood. Recommended

We love visiting this place for dinner. They have a delicious fegatini pasta filled with pear and ham. I also enjoy their mixed salad with strawberries and pork. They also serve delicious beef dishes and tiramisu for desert. Everything I have tried has been tasty. The atmosphere is great and off the beaten path. The most amazing hotel in the journey. Because the early train arrived in Vicenza, and the weather was very bad that day, the hotel reception gave us a free upgrade. There is a terrace and the area is still large. This is a luxury for a hotel room type in Europe. The breakfast at the hotel is very rich and the hotel staff is very good! The key is that all museums in the centre of Vicenza are within a half-hour walk! Going to play is simply the best choice!

The elevator in the hotel was really small and could only go in for two people. The front desk service was good. We arranged a large room on the first floor. It was heavy. No haha breakfast is rich, but it ’s been for three days. The hotel location is very good. There are a lot of sculptures in the subway station next to the subway station. It ’s very convenient to take the subway every day. The morning market is very lively and the fruits are cheap. The morning market goes further. There is an ice cream shop on the street corner. At noon, many foreigners buy that ice cream.

Honeymoon + Birthday Trip: • Upgraded to Executive Suite (Pleasant surprise , much appreciated 🙏🏻) • Champagne & Fruit Tart/Cake on compliments (Thankful 🙂) • Was informed by Front Office personnel whom guided us to our room that everything from the minibar were complimentary. However, we were charged for consumption instead upon checking out. (2 different staffs for C/I and C/O) Attitude of staff assisting with our C/O could be improved as he ‘explained’ and gave us the same reply that “No, our minibar are never complimentary.” to our doubts. ** I’m a hotelier too and I believed better response could and should be extended for mentioned situation. ** Nonetheless , my husband and I paid for the additional charges without trying to be difficult as our ride to the airport had arrived too then . It was a modern yet stylish property overall with a little unpleasantness experienced towards the end of our stay .

[Location] Super convenient. The airport train is just a five-minute walk from the Central Station. [Service] Check-in at the front desk will take the initiative to call for procedures. [Room] The theme is red and black. The rooms are not large but they are generally the same in Europe. The shower in the bathroom is particularly flush. The air conditioner is very cool. There are hair dryers. The floor-to-ceiling windows are facing the train station. [Characteristics] Breakfast and dinner are included, I feel very rich, there is a drink for breakfast, there is no waiter at dinner to ask if you need it, foreigners order more, white rice for dinner and some dishes are salty, and fruits, mainly worry about the day The unsafe black out of the house happened to be solved in the hotel. [Note] Dinner must go to the lobby bar on the first floor to pick up the roll, indicating whether it is to be eaten at 7:00 or 8:00, and the actual meal at 7:00 is half past six. [Details] The lobby on the first floor does not need to go down the stairs. There are public spaces in the lobby. There is a sofa lounge and a small bar. In the early morning, there are two sofas on the basement floor to sit and wait. [Overall] High cost performance is recommended.

A very poor stay experience, the hotel is in a good location, five minutes walk from Milan Cathedral, but the hotel service is really average, especially the two female executives in the restaurant, went to breakfast three days during the stay, never with us Say hello, expressionless. This is not the case for non-Chinese tourists. Instead, the waiters in the restaurant were more enthusiastic and smiling. On the second day of check-in, we also painted the wall and did not notify the guests in advance, so that the children's clothes became dirty when they walked. The most annoying thing is that the hotel ’s scheduled visit to Da Vinci ’s “Last Supper” costs 50 Euros. Five-year-olds are also charged in full (but in Europe, five-year-olds are basically free) Since the fee was notified by phone, there was no written confirmation, but the fare printed on the tickets we received was 15 Euros, so that we did not know this until check-out. The hotel explained that this is a VIP service and this charge is totally unreasonable.

When I came up, I came to a waiter to take us to another home. Even the introduction did not, and there was no advance mail. The focus is on the Europeans coming in and out.
