|3.37km from city centerNext to the Excelle Airport Hotel. A relatively simple hotel. There is a very simple breakfast in the morning, except that there is no catering service. About 300 meters out of the hotel, there is a gas station with hot and cold meals, daily necessities, etc. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and patiently answered various questions. The hotel provides airport shuttle service. There is a shuttle bus to the airport about half an hour. From the airport to the hotel, you need to call the hotel in advance to make an appointment.

|0.8km from city centerThis is my second stay at this location and both have been excellent. The rooms are very quiet, staff is helpful and friendly, which feels rare these days. Rooms are also very clean. The AC/heat also has a constant fan option, which I love. Plenty of parking and breakfast is good. They also serve until 10 during the week. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the water pressure in the shower is very low and it takes probably three times as long to wash my hair.

We recently made a reservation in this hotel for one night before my flight from Dulles. It was quite a great experience, starting with the check-in process with Alex. She was pretty energetic and friendly and expedited our check-in process. The two beds room was quite comfortable and met the business traveler's needs for a short-term stay. Also, parking is free in this location. I would highly recommend this location anytime and will be part of my selected hotels in Dulles when I need to travel from IAD.

The room utensils are very complete and can be easily eaten. No one was finishing the room during the stay. It takes only five minutes to walk to the Wal-Mart store next door. The exhaust fan of the bathroom is too loud and is associated with the lamp and cannot be turned off separately. The overall price/performance ratio is still very high.

First time stay at a Home2 Suite…very, very impressed! Nice, airy entry/seating area/breakfast area, plus a firepit and seating area outside by entrance. Located in a quiet area with two options for meals adjacent to parkplatz. Suite was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Huge, modern walk in shower, plenty of towels. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great choices for warm breakfast. Hilton…you have a great team here in Chantilly! It has set a high standard…hope the Home2 in Cleveland will match tonight!

|3.83km from city centerWe checked in fine and asked about somewhere to eat. The guy on reception recommended a nearby hotel which has an 'Irish' bar attached ('Irish' in the loosest term!) He said the shuttle would be happy to take us and we arranged a time. This went to plan and we shared the ride with 2 other people, they arranged a return journey and so did we but for a little later. Halfway through our meal the driver returned and came to our table, it was nowhere near our arranged collection time! So, we sorted out a time for him to come back later. We waited, waited and waited some more. Eventually gave up and walked the half hour back to the hotel, fairly busy roads and no footpath/sidewalk so we had to be careful. When we got back to the hotel, there was the shuttle bus, no sign of the driver and the receptionist unable to explain what had happened. Now don't get me wrong, the shuttle offer/idea is very welcome. But it has to be put into practice and done right. Had there been an emergency, an airport run was needed etc then we would have understood. But the little bus was just sat there. I see from other reviews that others have also experienced shuttle problems, fortunately ours wasn't an airport run so wasn't drastic, but for those coming off long flights it must be very frustrating, obviously something that the hotel needs to address. However, the hotel was fine, did the job, the room was comfy enough and the breakfast ok, wasn't an extensive choice but it was fine. There's also a petrol station where we got some sandwiches for our drive and they were delicious!

|2.12km from city centerStayed here one night while in town on business. Hotel seems pretty new, furnishings are not ”worn” or tired looking. Staff is very helpful, and they all seem to genuinely enjoy working there. Stayed in a king bed suite and it was very large - full kitchen, sitting area, bed area and bathroom (with a door separating the toilet/shower area from the vanity). Room was clean and comfortable. They offer a basic breakfast each morning - more than enough to put something in your stomach before you head out for the day. On Wednesday evenings they also offer an evening reception which has a full meal (spaghetti and meatballs the night I was there) as well as complimentary cocktails (beer, wine). It was a really nice touch and well done - easily enough food put out for you to avoid having to go to eat somewhere for dinner. They have an outdoor seating area as well which I am sure is wonderful when the weather is warmer. I would definitely stay here again. (side note, if you need a restaurant nearby, LaPerla right next door is fantastic, but note that they only accept cash, regardless of what you might find otherwise on the internet).

|2.97km from city centerThis hotel is very close to the airport (about a 5 minute drive). I did see the hotel shuttle to the airport in front of the hotel but we did not use this service. The hotel seemed very clean in the common areas. The breakfast was okay with the standard offerings, waffles, eggs, sausage, juice, etc. and it did start at 6am even on the weekends. The room was comfortable with the sink outside of the bathroom which I always find helpful when traveling. Wifi was fine and I had no issues connecting. My only negative was the first day I wanted hot water from the coffee bar in the lobby and I tried 3 different times, hours apart and never did get a cup until the next night. I could have asked but didn't. Overall I was satisfied with my stay and I would stay here again if traveling out of Dulles Airport.

|4.07km from city centerWe were quite disappointed and troubled with our stay this time. The conditions at this location are unbearable. We are concerned about other guests experiencing what we did. When I made the initial reservation there was no indication that the Embassy Suites at the Dulles North Loudoun, Virginia was under a major renovation. Please be advised that the location is shared by the newly renovated (Hilton's affiliate) hotel ”Home Suites”. We checked in at the Home Suite side and assigned a room on the Embassy side. We were shocked at this, given the fact the it was under construction. We found the room to be clearly outdated, dingy and inadequate. The noise level from the construction was unbearable. Obviously, there were no amenities on the Embassy side and had to walk next door to Homes Suites. Also not disclosed, was the newly imposed $7 parking fee. When I questioned the fee, we were told that it was a new management decision. Obviously hotel management knew that the rooms on the Embassy side were in need of upgrade. Why were we not offered a room in the newly renovated Home Suites or other options is troubling. The people at the front desk did not offer that or any other options. In fact, they were rather unprofessional and unhelpful. We have stayed at this location several times before and are longstanding Hilton members. We found the whole experience quite troubling and unacceptable for any traveler. Hilton’s failure to disclose to customers major changes to facilities and not offer suitable options is major concern for travelers.

The staff was superb, and the breakfast was very good. Real food, not pre-packaged pastries. They are pet-friendly. When I come back into the country, I will be staying here again!

When we first arrived we were greeted with a warm smile at the front desk. Angela P. was the perfect host and the epitome of customer service. Very personable and accommodating to our needs for our stay, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Along with Erin and Darnell, the staff at the front desk and the security officers were outstanding! However, the event group leadership and staff is another story. It seemed that a certain individual was trying to make a name for themselves and in doing so destroyed a great portion of our enjoyment during our stay. I will say he and his minions provided us a memory that will be remembered for quite a long time; a memory exactly opposite of the wonderful service we received at the front desk! Kudos to Angela and her co workers!

Seeing we have luggage they gave us a room on the ground floor as there was no lift, car boot to room. Hotel was spread widely but has great WiFi cover. Room was a 2 bedder but a little tight with a misplaced dining table and 2 chairs. Otherwise well furnished with a microwave, fridge, TV and very comfortable beds with choice of pillows. Very clean too. Breakfast is great with hot food in a spacious setting. Well worth the stay and value.

|2.47km from city centerI’d like to begin by letting you know the lady at the front desk that checked me in was very sweet, professional, and empathetic. Even though she had to deliver bad news to me, the sting wasn’t there because of how she treated me. I was so tired that it forgot to get her name. We book a room with two double beds because we are traveling with two children. When we checked in at 11:00 PM, after driving for seven hours, I was informed they sold out of all the room types I had already paid for. They gave us a king room with a couch. I let the gal know we had two children and she said she would give extra bedding. When we got to the room, which is quite nice, the couch wasn’t at all as one would expect. It’s three modular cubes. When I picked up the extra bedding, there was enough for only one child. Thankfully we had extra blankets and pillows in our car so we could make a padded area on the floor for child #2. When it was time to sleep we realized the curtain doesn’t close, so the room became quite bright earlier in the morning than we were needing, because there weren’t the type of curtains that completely cover the window. Our bathroom door will not stay closed because it doesn’t latch. The king size bed is nice and the bedding is very nice. The drawers are spacious. We have a refrigerator, keurig coffee maker, and a microwave oven. All work perfectly. There is a space to hang up clothes and a rack above to store luggage. In anticipation of hungry children, I pre-toasted bagels before leaving home and slightly warmed them in the microwave before spreading on the cream cheese. Happy belly’s. (I know, not a healthy breakfast, but it did the job.) we brought along Go-Go Squeeze fruit purées, Danimals drinkable yogurt, and fizzy waters for snacking. We are about to check out the pool, so right now I can’t comment on that.

Good sized room, comfortable bed (on the softer side, but I like soft), separate desk/couch area with the mini fridge, sink, and microwave. Decent wifi, normal TV channels. For breakfast (which started at 6am!) There was a choice of two hot single-serving options. While I was there one would be egg+meat, the other egg with no meat. (Breakfast sandwiches, mini quiches, etc). Also yogurt, cereal, coffee. Small gym, inside pool. The pool was popular with kids from what I noticed. Small area next to the front desk where you could buy snacks and convenience items. Not much in the immediate area, maybe you could walk to a gas station, but as long as you have a car it's a quick drive to shopping and restaurants. Very convenient to Dulles airport, they have a shuttle as well.

|0.9km from city centerWe arrived late around 10:30pm and they were fine with that. Check in was a breeze. We went to our room on the elevator. Which I am glad they had because it was on the third floor. When we were settled in our room we realized that out the window there were a ton of people playing music, drinking and playing a game of cornhole. I sure hope no one needed to be up early because it was quite loud. The hotel has a small seating area where they were partying. During the 3 nights we stayed they actually partied every single night. The blanket on the bed felt as thick as a sheet and wasn’t truly a blanket at all. I think it was a duvet without the actual comforter inside. My partner was cold and we had to use our down comforter from home. We traveled here from Vermont and are on our way to go camping in Virginia Beach so we had our blankets in our truck. We booked a suite because it had a place to cook but were made to ask for cooking pans and plates and utensils. Not very convenient at all. It’s all to save the housekeepers from having to clean but isn’t that what they are being paid to do? The 3 days we were here they did not offer any housekeeping unless we paid XTRA for it. Yes you read that correctly! You do not get your bed turned down or clean towels switched out unless you pay XTRA! There are cheaper places you can stay and actually get room service that usually comes with a hotel room. With that being said the stove works well and the bed is comfortable.

|4.03km from city centerI stayed at this hotel for 6 night with other team members. The rooms are dated, sheets don't fit the bed, and parking fees are absurd. The hotel parking lot connects to a ***** mall parking lot. There is parking everywhere including plenty in the hotel parking lot. But they still charge you a $7 per day for parking. Internet is beyond horrible. I paid $4 a day for the ”faster” internet and I was luck if it worked 20% of the time. Also good luck getting a good cell signal in the building. The worse part was the rude staff. On check-in, they charged me $109 for incidental. After checkout I was charged for the full stay which included room, parking, internet, state tax, and occupancy tax. They did not subtract the incidental fee they had already charged me on check-in. I had no other incidentals. I had two speprate charges on my card. One for the full price of my stay and other which should have been an incidental hold. I called the hotel to discuss the extra charge. I was connected to the hotel manager named Sara/Shara. Saying she was rude is putting it nicely. She spoke down to me and flat out refused to help and denied that there could be another charge. She made absolutely no effort to verify or look in to my concerns. All she had to do was review the audit reports and she would have seen the charge. I offered to share the authorization number for the charge or show her my credit card statement with both charges coming from same place. She was not interested. The kicker, she accused me or my co-workers of making the charge. So in her mind, I broke in to the hotel systems, charged my own credit card, and now was calling to request a refund back to my card? Hooray for customer service! In my experience, incidental are hold for a certain amount on my card. Not a charge that is never returned. An off the record charge coming from the same hotel sounds like a scam. Be careful and keep a close eye on you credit card statement if you want to brave this place. My company and I have been using Hilton properties for many years. After this experience, we will need to look for a more reputable hotel. Very surprised by this experience from a Hilton but I guess times are changing.

Room is big, check in is easy if you get their app. They even have a way to open your door with your phone. Breakfast and pool are both very good. Shuttle is great and on time. Do not take a drink on it though (unless you're a pilot). Different rules for the less important I guess. But all in all it's a great hotel and I will choose it again if I ever need one close to the airport again.

|3.48km from city centerWe were not being recognized nor received any benefit of being a Globalist Member. We were given a very basic room yet there were plenty of suite rooms left on that day. The room we were given does not have any kitchen equipment and has minimal space being a Hyatt House. The loud noise coming from separate in-room unit of AC are very disturbing in the night and we couldn’t sleep well. We were not pleased with the check-in process as we felt we were very rudely treated. The person who checked us in didn't give us any information about the hotel or amenities, and when we asked for a late checkout for 4pm in the next morning he simply just nodded. He didn’t put it in the system. That is what we had to figure out the day after when the housekeeper tried to come into our room at 12pm.

|2.22km from city centerThis was an average what you would expect Hotel like a Hyatt Place, or Fairfield Inn. the King room was comfortable enough with a very good TV, microwave and Mini Fridge. The room had decent lighting and the King Bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows were very soft. If you wanted housekeeping service, it had to be asked for. We did not utilize the indoor pool nor the hot tub and the exercise room was extremely small and cramped with some hand weights, medicine balls, an elliptical, treadmill, and stationary bike. Breakfast which was from six to ten was average with egg, a meat, sometimes potatoes or biscuits, two waffle makers, yogurt, cereal, fruit, mini muffins, breads for toasting. There was 24-hour coffee, and tea. Betsy checked us in, answered all the questions that we had and was very pleasant. Check in and checkout was quick and easy, and you could also check in digitally. the price was fine for our three night stay. even though signs were up for mandatory distancing and masking, that was not the case.
