This is a basic good room at a good price. Everything clean and friendly. Very good shower, comfortable bed, secure and quiet. Breakfast was good with fresh cooked scrambled eggs. Could have some fruit but coffee was very good. Wegmans right across the street and the Timberwood Taphouse has good food and great beer selection.

We stayed in a ”king suite.” The room was recently renovated and very pleasant. There's a separate area with a couch and pull out desk. I'd be comfortable staying there to work for the week. I was there with family and the overall facility was extremely nice, with a better than expected breakfast and eating room. The staff was very nice and welcoming. It took about 15-20 minutes to walk to UVA and the downtown historic area.

The room is large but the sound insulation is not good. On the second night, the waiter did not give the bath towel that was used the day before.

My husband was sent to the UVA Medical Center for cancer treatment. I stayed here for the week and it was extremely clean, quiet and had the most kind, helpful employees. The bed was very comfortable. It is out of the way enough to be quiet but is convenient to shopping and food. Everyone who worked there was polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

We stayed here in early December while the remodel was wrapping up and now it seems to be finished. They have done a nice job, the place looks updated, our rooms were nice, and they have kept the prices low. The only negative is the lobby is tiny and there is only room for a coffee/ juice machine, and a few cereal bars. It's enough to get most people down the road until an early lunch. This Super 8 is a good place to stop if you're passing thru Charlottesville.

Clean room, well appointed bathroom. Coffee maker and microwave in the room. The WiFi had some issues and the TV was a disaster- no Netflix or prime even though they were suppose to have both. I called the front desk who sent me to someone who barely spoke English and she had no solution but so say I’ll let the hotel know it’s their provider. The TV channels were also slow to come up and the guide uninformative as to programming. The toiletries were communal bottles not individual so we did not use them at all. Some staff was amazing such as the guy who checked us in but others passed us off (on the tv issue) without any really helpful solutions. The hi-speed WiFi also was not working so I could not watch programming on my own iPad easily (the regular WiFi was working). All in all, an okay stay. Might give them another try but would not rush back.

Beautiful hotel! Front desk very friendly,especially Latasha! My request for a quiet room was granted. The 6th floor in low numbers is good. I stayed 3 nights for work and my room was SPOTLESS! The mattress was firm, my pillows fluffy. I especially loved the slippers because I forgot mine. Upon arrival Franklin helped me with my luggage and on a rainy day my umbrella was in my car. He kindly gave me one. The only drawback was the Valet parking. They're very good at what they do but I wish there was maybe off-site parking. $18 is a bit steep, I walked to work so I paid for my car to be parked. The morning coffee in the lobby was very good. I didn't get a chance to eat at restaurant Ridley but the aroma sure smelled good. I would definitely stay here again. The lobby's decor and seating was very comfortable.

Blech. I know you get what you pay for, but I paid $125 for one night during a very busy week in C-ville. That smell when you open the door and you are smacked in the face with the mix of cigarette smoke and deodorizer... In the 30 minutes I sat in there while searching for a new hotel, the smell invaded my face mask. Dark inside, woman (guest) sitting on the curb outside my room smoking, just blech. I abandoned the room and let them keep the money - maybe they can use it to rip out the drywall and start over?

This place was wonderful and had an affordable price for the room! The room was really clean, comfortable and had everything you would need (coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator). Floors are not carpeted which is much nicer and cleaner. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Front desk evening guy was super nice, friendly and hospitable! The breakfast was well stocked and had a good selection of healthy food options. I especially liked the pictures of the cannons in the room which were very unique (see pictures below). I would definitely stay here again!

Positives: Courteous check in Negatives: Cold water, no hot water. The hotel check in staff did not disclose that the water needed to run at least 10 minutes before getting hot. It would have been disclosed upfront at check-in. What a wasting of water to run it for 10 minutes. This will not be acceptable in California, where water is so precious. When the water came out, it was black ink-ish color. Should be a 2.5 star hotel, not 4 star hotel. Hair found on the sheet, but the hotel staff said ”it's clean and hairs do stick to the bedding sheets” after looking at it. Also no blankets. The same hotel staff brought two blankets over, apologized but felt like giving us a lecture and making a speech rather than solving problems for us. Would not recommend this hotel, especially there are many better options nearby. The location is convenient though if you value location over cleanliness and service.

we stayed over night june 10, 21. the room was recently remodeled and beautiful. the staff was very nice and helpful and i could not have been more satisfied. it is pet friendly and my little alice was very happy. the beds were comfortable but a little hard for my taste. (i am very picky about my bed so can't really go by me) my husband was very pleased with it. there is a steakhouse within walking distance that is very nice. yes i would stay again.
